These sneakers are a perfect transition commuter shoe. My mother bought a pair at a conference and put almost 50 miles in during the first week. Her feet felt great! So I thought I’d give them a try. What a great decision! I walked my usual 4 miles to and from work and the arches provide better support than I’ve ever had in a similar sneaker. I would recommend these to anyone with a medium width ball and narrow heel.

What cute shoes that are comfy too! I wear a size 6 in sandals and 6 1/2 in sneakers. The size 37 is a perfect fit. I look forward to wearing these shoes daily!

I am normally 8 1/2 to 9, I got a size 40, because 39 was not available. I have a very narrow foot and there are just perfect. There is a bit of space since the are slightly big but I adore them. Very soft very stylish, I got a light pink

Ecco shoes are known for their comfort and quality; these fit the bill. Sizing for the Soft 7 was a miss for me. I typically wear a 39 (8 or 8.5) in ECCO shoes. They were pretty roomy even with socks. I exchanged for a full euro size to 38 (7-7.5) and the fit is much better.

I'm so happy with these shoes. They fit perfectly (recommendations for converting American to European shoe sizes was accurate for me), have excellent arch support, are extremely comfortable and look great. Very happy with my purchase I and definitely recommend them to others. I imagine I'll be buying more pairs in other colors soon!

I love these sneakers. Very soft leather and nice padding for comfort. Quality is exellent. I think I'm in between sizes.

I have 3 pair of these Ecco shoes in different colors. I normally wear a size 7.5 and get a 38 in these. The size is perfect and plenty of room in toebox. On first day I can wear them all day. I love that the insole is removable so you can add a slight heel lift under the insole with the “Superfeet” brand if desired. I do better with slight lift than flat even though I don’t really need it with this shoe. It just feels good. The white color with flowers adds style to any outfit! Love love ??

Love this sneaker. I have three pairs. Very comfortable but not clunky - the smooth leather and plain styling make them quite presentable for any casual occasion. I need good arch support so have changed the insoles to more supportive ones - the arch support is OK for short wearings but, not for a lot of standing or walking, at least for me. I also ordered a grey pair in the same style, but strangely they were uncomfortable despite being the identical size and style to the others I have that fit perfectly.

great shoes! i get so many compliments every time i wear them. sometimes rubs on my pinky toes but not often

These are worth every penny! The first day I wore them, they didn't need any breaking in at all.

Comfortable right out of the box. Walked many miles first week that I got them. I have this shoe in Marine as well as black. Hope that this style continues for ever!

I bought these shoes for a trip to NYC. They were perfect. I wanted something comfortable, but stylish, since I knew I would be doing a lot of walking. I did not even need to break them in. They felt good as soon as I put them on. This is my first pair of ECCO shoes and I will buy again. I highly recommend them! You can’t go wrong!

I had to return these. I'm a typical 8.5 with a wide toe-box, and when I ordered size 40, as I have that size other Ecco shoes (sandals), these Soft 7 Sneakers were too long, and not quite wide enough for comfort. I did not order size 39 as I think they will feel too narrow on my foot. They may stretch out but at this price point, I wasn't willing to try that. I did like the style and soft leather.

I love my new ECCO Soft 7s. I had a little trouble with sizing - I originally ordered my normal size (I am a 9 to 9.5 and I ordered a 40) and they were so tight I could barely get them on. I re-ordered one size larger, but those were so big there was a gap at my heel. Frustrated, I returned both pairs. Because I loved the look of the shoes, I talked to ECCO customer service about the problem, and they assured me their sizes are accurate, and it was unlikely that a particular shoe would be mismarked and my normal size should fit. To give it one more try, I reordered my normal size and it fits perfectly! The first day I wore them, I put them on at 7:00 a.m., and didn't take them off until 9:30 p.m., on a day with quite a bit of walking. No problems whatsoever! Beautiful well made shoes with nice arch support and I love the excellent treads on the bottom of the shoe.

So comfortable and great with my black jeans.

I love these shoes! I bought my first pair a week before an extended trip to Europe and wore them straight out of the box all over Europe. They are super comfortable and were great for all types of walking - through museums and archeological ruins. They look nice, so you feel comfortable wearing anywhere. I just bought another pair in a different color and they're great. I have wide feet with narrow heels and these shoes are perfect.

These shoes are amazing. They fit perfectly right out of the box and have been amazingly comfortable on my vacation during which I average 10 miles a day just walking. I love them. Great price too. I might buy more because they are good looking, quite a step up from regular sneakers and running shoes.

I take an 8-8/12 (39) but had to order the 9-91/2 (40) fit okay with socks.

These shoes are great! I have super high arches and have been very picky about the shoes I buy and wear, and these make the cut. Although I might end up swapping the insoles for my custom ones. Still pretty good arch support. They are listed as a M width, but the toe box is actually wider than a normal M (which is great for me and my wide feet). And they're super cute! Will be buying another pair in a different color soon.

This is a wonderful shoe. I ordered it to wear on a European River Boat cruise and wanted to break it on before I left. However, the leather is so buttery soft, and the fit so true to size, it didn’t need breaking in. I slipped it on and it felt as if I had had it for months. No blisters, no incomfortable toe bed; quite the contrary. This shoe is now my favorite go to casual shoe to wear everywhere. It looks good on my feet and I have big feet; a size 10. This doesn’t make my feet look like boats. It’s a super comfy shoe that looks very stylish, even on a 68 year old grandmother.

I've been on the hunt for a good walking shoe for an upcoming Fall trip to Italy and finally found a winner in these! I usually wear a 7.5 and tried on the 38 (7-7.5) locally in-store but found that they did not seem long enough and fit more like a size 7. I ordered up a size to the 39 (8-8.5) and they work great, just a little loose in the back but not anything lacing them a little tighter won't fix. I've been wearing them around to break them in but this isn't really necessary since they feel really comfortable from the start. I have high arches and the arch support is great. The top inside flaps of the shoes did feel like they were pushing into my foot at first but once I re-laced them that went away and actually makes them easier to secure comfortably now. The color I chose is the Moon Cow Leather which is a dark gray with a faint hint of blue. I've raved about these shoes so much that my husband tried the Ecco Soft 7 for men and they worked for him as well. I receive compliments on them frequently and can't wait to wear them on my trip!

The Ecco Soft 7 is a great shoe for casual, everyday wear. It is supremely comfortable, offers excellent cushioning, good arch support, and a nice, but unobtrusive, collar of padding around the ankle area. The Soft 7 is stylish as well, (which is remarkable in a comfort shoe,) and comes in several colors. Soft 7’s are perfect for travel. Several of these have found their way home to me and other family members.

These shoes are great. They are great-looking - trendy and cute, and very comfortable. Issues - I have a narrow heel, and the shoe slides up and down if I wear them without socks. But I don't mind wearing socks unless it's blazing hot outside, and then I wear sandals anyway. If you are used to athletic shoes the soles may feel lighter and thinner than what you're used to. I haven't tried walking long distances in them so I can't speak to how they will hold up comfort-wise. They do have arch support, though I can't tell if it's "excellent" or not yet. I do need arch support, and they are comfortable to me. And of course, Zappo's is totally the best company to do business with ever.
