The problem for me is the way the instep where the lacing began felt against my foot. Felt "tight" and that it would cause a problem down the road. Could not afford to keep it just to see if I am correct.

Love these shoes ... just ordered my third pair in another color. The Soft Perf 7 shoe was a bit short, but these fit true to size. Comfy right out of box and I walked through airports and in London first wearing. And cute with skinny jeans, leggings, dresses and skirts.

These shoes are awesome, you can wear them and wear them and they still look new!

I did a google search for 'comfortable/travel' shoes....these popped up on the list. i did NOT want to spend $150 for 'tennis shoes', but thought: 'i will at least try them on, blah, blah, blah'. wow! super comfortable! i would order them all over again. as a matter of fact, hubby just ordered his own for our trip...after forty years, i never ever imagined we would have matching shoes (in different colors)!!!!

Love, love, love them! I am a teacher and have terrible feet and wear them all day!

this is my second pair of these - have not worn them yet but the first pair in brown is extremely comfy. good for my grandma bunion active feet!!

Love, love these shoes. Got black on black with white sole and they look really cute with jeans or black pants. West them often and feet don’t get tired.

I was asked whether these fit, and they do, but according to Zappos the size 35 is equivalent to a 4-4.5. In reality, I wear a size 5 (US), so these shoes are probably larger than a 4-4.5 because they fit me perfectly. I bought one pair, loved how they fit and looked, so bought another pair in a different color. It is very hard to find shoes that fit so I typically load up when I find a comfy style -- and these are cute, too, way better-looking than the typical athletic sneaker. I expect to get a lot of wear from them.

Beautiful color, almost a teal (green-grey) and a nice fit. These are a clear step above usual athletic shoes. These are my substitute for Tretorns, which I used to wear but which are no longer as well made.

This is my second pair, just wish they were not quite so expensive. But love them nevertheless

This is my third pair of these shoes and I love them. I wear a 9-1/2 -10 M-W normally with a high arch and ordered the 41. I wore them on a cruise and shore excursions all day almost every day with dresses, capris etc without any problems. I think these shoes are worth the cost. The first 2 pair were purchased at full price in the store. PLUS the style does not make you look like you have cankles nor do they look like boats on size 10's (like some other brands might) They're cute.

I was looking for a quality shoe that wasn't a running shoe to be able to wear to work (I work in a casual work environment) but that would also look classy enough to wear with a simple black sweater. I'm so happy I splurged and went for these. They are very comfortable and also very classy. There was no "breaking in" period when I put them on. They instantly felt good and I've gone for 30+ minute speed walks in them on my lunch breaks without any issues rubbing or discomfort. I absolutely would recommend these if you are looking for a quality made shoe that is casual yet stylish.

I ordered these to have something a little water/snow worthy for winter. I put them on straight out of the box and wore them around the house for quite a few hours. They were comfy the entire time. As prior reviews indicated, the laces are a little funky and you'll have to figure out how you want them to look and adjust the laces accordingly (tied vs untied?). I bought white as a neutral but think I want another color as well.

I LOVE these, they are like slippers so comfy, I'm never taking them off.

Fell in love with the cashmere color online and happy that it's true to life. These are very expensive sneakers but also very comfortable on with good arch support--I have a high arch--and wiggle room in the toe area. I tried them with socks and the size 8 felt true to size. They're my first pair of ECCO shoes and I am still debating whether sneakers are worth this price. Still not sure if I can justify them in my wardrobe. We'll see.

This is my second pair of Ecco Soft 7 Sneakers. What attracted me to them were the floral patterns they offer as a color option. The first version was more pastel - this pair has darker colors. I get so many compliments on them! Everyone wants to know who makes them... I first became acquainted with Ecco as golf shoes that I could wear "right out of the box." When I discovered these casual cuties, I couldn't wait to get them - and was not disappointed. A quality shoe, in the tradition of "you get what you pay for."

I’ve always wore sandals except in very cold weather. I had foot surgery last Spring & my doctor insisted that I wear a shoe while the bone healed. I found the Ecco Soft 7 so comfortable I never went back to sandals. It’s great support & my legs don’t feel so tired if I’ve been on my feet all day. My 18 year old grand niece said that she liked my shoes. Is there a better compliment?

Very comfortable and flattering shoe.

Why I love these: (a) I am narrow in the heel, wider in front and use an orthotic - these fit perfectly, (b) wook them to Paris and walked 10 miles a day in them, and (c) color (grey) and style. Buying another pair in black. I am a true 9 (usually AA, or 39 1/2 European size) and bought size 40 and they fit perfectly (with orthotic and a thin sock or ped).

I was looking for a shoe to wear when I do a fair amount of walking but don't want to be seen in a regular sneaker. This is stylish and comfy. I got the dark blue, and it looks great with jeans. I switched to a darker lace that I think looks a bit more put together. The arch support is a less than i need, but it's easy to swap in an orthotic. Yes, they're expensive, but I can tell that I'm going to get a lot of use out of my Eccos.

These fit TTS. I bought the navy and love the color and fit. These are a great addition to my wardrobe. I feel like I can get a lot of wear out of these. I wore them for an entire day the first time I wore them and had no issues (no blisters.) I have high arches and felt like these gave me decent support because of the great cushion on the inside. Would highly recommend these to folks that are on their feet all day.

Comfy and cute!

I have a wide foot with a high arch so finding shoes is an agonizing process...until I found ECCO soft 7 sneakers. I LOVE THEM!! The leather is such high quality that they stretch to the width of my foot and still hold their shape. They support is perfect and they're comfortable to wear all day long. I now have them in 7 different colors because that's pretty much all I wear. I even wear the black leather with my black scrubs for work which makes my scrubs look a little less boring. I highly recommend them to ANYONE! You won't regret spending the money!!

Love this shoe. Slightly wide foot. 56 years old and have capsulitis in one toe. Old neuromas as well. Had to go up one size (from a 39 to a 40) for general size, width and comfort. Wearing without socks and they are super comfortable. Trekked all over in them the last week and my feet feel good! The arch support is not giant, but it is adequate (in a good way, I need arch support!). I think the shoe runs a little narrow and a little small.
