I have worn them for five months and they are still stiff and uncomfortable. I never had blisters. I have tried leather conditioner and stretching them. I don’t have wide feet, and my feet are quite bony, not fat.

I bought this pair because I bought the same shoe in a different color a year ago, and I really loved them. The quality of the item still seems great, but I could not get my feet into the shoes!! Both width and length seemed WAY too small, and I have to return them.

Shoes fit width and length-wise BUT caused large BLISTERS on the outer side of both heels within 2 hours of wearing them. I have another pair of Ecco Shoes--same style-- that never did this. There appears to be small hard lumps within the lining of the shoe which caused my blisters. My other shoes do not have those lumps. Zappos was GREAT about my returning them! Thank you, Zappos.

These... are not leather. I bought the black pair to try, and they feel and smell like polyurethane. There is no information about the upper material on the interior of the shoe or on the box. They also felt quite narrow and tight.

I have a pair of these from a couple years ago & they are GREAT - so comfy, stylish, versatile. This pair is super hard/cheap leather. I read about this is other reviews (on Ecco site) and hoped it wasn’t true…sadly it is. Manufacturers: You can use cheap materials OR have a high price point, not both. Pick one. So disappointed in Ecco.

I was very disappointed in these shoes. The fit was most unusual, especially the heel which was wide with not even a slight curve inward at the top. I bought them for a trip to Sicily and found I was slipping even on dry cobblestones going downhill. A total waste of money!

I ordered the same size as my past pairs of eccos and these will not even go on. I am afraid the next size will be too big. Thank you

This shoe was not nubuck as stated in the description. It’s made from some synthetic material that’s designed to look like nubuck. I think at this price point if an article is described as nubuck it should actually be nubuck. Ecco standards have gone down though the prices remain the same.

I own several pairs of Ecco Soft 7 shoes, but this particular style has a fatal flaw -- the metal grommets for the laces hit me right over the big toe joint. They are incredibly painful to walk in. Sad, as I love the appearance of these shoes.

Shocked at the thin, rigid "leather" that feels like plastic. Went on Ecco's site reviews and long-time customers have the same complaint about this version of the Soft 7 where quality has taken a significant dive. An absolute no-go, do not waste the time on ordering these.

I didn't even bother to try these on because the color is not white! It has a greyish tint. No thanks.

I’ll be returning- these shoes showed up with gross yellow oily stuff on the rubber soles, I even tried removing with soap, a towel and elbow grease- no luck. It’s disgusting. The laces are also blackened in a few spots. I need them for a trip in a couple weeks and splurged specifically to have these as they came so highly recommended for walking long distances. I’m so incredibly disappointed and shocked that Zappos would ship a shoe in such a state for $175.

The size was fine, but the leather on the top and body of the shoe is very stiff, which made the lacing grommets on top of the shoe dig into my foot. If the material had been canvas, the grommets, which were stitched/stuck on with rough thread and/or material would probably have irritated my foot as well. I like to wear athletic shoes without socks and these grommets made wearing these too painful. I sent them back and will look for other white athletic shoes.

Hard as rock. Very uncomfortable. the tongue is narrow and the grommets dig into my feet.

Fir of shoe is way off. Size 40 was small and 41 was too narrow, very disappointed.

i am a total ecco shoe lover, normally they feel like bedroom slippers on mu fewer but this one does not make the cut. Yje tongue of the shoes is so high it cuts into the front of my foot and I can hardly walk. I will be sending back and ordering another style. ie Bio Hydro max Gt 3

like the the style of these shoes, cute but they are so cheaply made. poor construction, cheap materials and absolutely no support. love the color options but that was the only good thing about them. sending them right back.

The fit of the Ecco Soft 7 Sneaker size 38 is comparable to all Ecco size 38. It is a comfortable shoe with partial leather lining and and has a leather insole. I am returning this pair because the top of the tongue on one of the shoes has a place where there is no color at all. Will reorder in hopes of getting a pair without a defect because this pair of shoes is very comfortable.

I LOVE Ecco boots! I thought these would be just as wonderful. Not comfortable AT ALL! Returning....

BUYER BEWARE! I’m just not sure how this shoe got rave reviews at all! Trusting these reviews, I bought these shoes before a trip to Australia/New Zealand where I would be doing a lot of walking. So I wore them on the second day of our trip and they rubbed blisters on my heels so severe that I will be suffering and wearing bandaids on my heels for the remainder of our three weeks here! Literally tore up my feet on just the second day of our vacation which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by doing extensive research before buying walking shoes. To add insult to literal injury, was the exorbitant amount of money I paid for these shoes! I hope someone from Zappos customer service can make this right for me because it’s not fair that I lost so much money on shoes I will never wear again!

Zappos, I expect a new pair of shoes when I place an order. This is the second time I ordered a pair of shoes from you that were clearly heavily used before you sent them to me. I ordered these ECCO Soft 7 sneakers in the soft gray color. The shoes I received were scuffed with brown markings on the bottom and sides. The shoelaces were used too. Whoever worn and then returned these shoes back to you clearly worn them pretty hard. Your company tried to clean it up a little and resell it as brand new. I returned the shoes the same day I received them. Iv'e been your customer since the early 2000s but why is this the second time this has happened to me in the past year?

I wear Ecco golf shoes in a similar style and love them because I have a narrow foot/heel and they work for me - unlike other brands of golf shoes. Thought I could buy this style in a street s hoe and get the same all day comfort, great arch support. These were so tight even for my narrow foot. Couldn’t even put a thin sock on!

Nice to find a casual fashion sneaker like this that has some support to it
