Heavy footbed and leather not soft when walking

I really, really wanted to like and adore these shoes. They are cute and mostly comfy.......at least at the beginning. When they were on my feet for longer periods, I could feel a blister starting under the ball area of my foot. And then the pressure area in my left foot arch built to where I could barely stand on that foot. I realized that these shoes were not going to be my "go to" shoes for endless walking on an upcoming European excursion. Sadly, I am returning them.

I have two pair of the ECOO Soft 7 Sneakers and they’re great shoes. They’re stylish, provide good arch support and are very durable. But the ones I have are marked as size 8 and the same style are now sized as 8-8.5. I wear a true size 8, so these were too large. Sadly, I had to return them and will not be purchasing ECCO in the future since it appears they have gone to this new sizing method.

I ordered a Medium, inside shoe was marked X-wide, too wide in heel, the tongue on both shoes was bend at front could not straighten, this shoe did not fit me

I have several pairs of Ecco Soft 7 sneakers size 9 and they fit fine. However, these are wider and a little longer. I intend to order them in an 8 to see if they will fit.

I don’t do well with European sizing. I’m a 9, no more, no less. The shoe is nice quality and crazy comfortable with great arch support. In three years this is my second pair. The rubber souls oxidize to yellow and looks trashy. I can’t get them restored. So, will not buy again.

I've had these shoes for some time, and decided to get a pair in a different color. The new ones - in the same size - are a full 1/2" longer than my older ones! So watch the sizing on these. I guess I'll exchange them and see if the smaller size actually works.

I am a 9.5, and the 40s are too small and the 41s are too big. I found these just not comfortable, which is surprising for ECCO

toe box area was too small, shoe was narrower than I expected. I wish they would have fit as they support and cushioning felt great.

The point of the bottom of the laces rubbed the top of my foot - I wouldn't be able to wear these very long, which is sad because I have an upcoming trip where I'll be walking a lot. Back they go.

One Shoe was wider than the other. They did not offer the support of other ECCO shoes that I own. Nice color. I returned them. Too pricey even if they had fit.

The Soft 7 sneaker is made very well with nice, supple leather. However, I found that the top seams, particularly the seam for the tongue, to be uncomfortable. These seams are bulky and rubbed at the top of my foot/toe area. I preferred this style over the others I tried on but I had to return them due to the discomfort.

i wear ecco 39 and ordered 39 but to small and width seems tight.

Fit and size were fine but the style wasn't me. I keep trying to find the Goldilocks white sneaker; alas, this wasn't it.

The fit was fine but the inside heel was too hard and seemed to dig into my heel as I walked.

The shoe fit was ok. It just wasn’t comfortable. It lacked support and cushioning. I need extra soft insoles because i suffer from ball of pain.

Fit and size are good. Problem with right shoe seam rubbing. Would not buy again.

Very good looking sneaker BUT the seam across the toe digs into the top of my foot. Also, they squeak! So regretfully back they go.

This shoe is really cute. Great color and beautiful leather. However, walking in these is a whole other ballgame. They hurt! The pads of the foot have no cushioning and it feels like you're walking directly on the pavement/floor. They also squeeze a bit on a wide foot. I guess if they were worn with cushioned socks or an insole was added, they'd be ok.

Isn’t anyone else noticing the seam on the top of the inside near the back heel? I have tried 3 pairs from Zappos, and one from the ECCO store and they all have that seam. Some were oversewn and some were flat and just put together but just walking around on the rug left a red mark. Any suggestions?

Very narrow and I do not have a wide foot. Clarks, Earth, Softwalk, etc always fit me no problem and these shoes were way too narrow. They are going back. Beautiful sneaker though!

These were nice looking sneakers but I had to send them back. They were just too small for my size 12+ foot, even though they say their 43 is equivalent to 12-12.5. Guess I'll just need to check out the men's sizes instead.

So disappointed! I wear Ecco golf shoes and have several...all in size 6-61/2. This was my first time trying the style called their "soft sneaker". My usual size was entirely too tight so must be returned. I have to order a size up and unfortunately they are't available in the color that I want. They are really cute casual shoes and very well made. Too bad Ecco sizing is not uniform through out.

Super-cute shoe but really tight. My feet are average width and these are uncomfortably snug. Felt a good size too small as well. Too bad because they are nice looking, but had to return.

The leather was not high quality, though the shoe was comfortable and pattern cute. Expect more substantial leather given the price.
