I purchased these for traveling. I wanted a black sneaker that looked nice and was not a bulky as an athletic sneaker. They felt a little tight when I put them on, but figured that the leather would soften after being worn (like a dress shoe). I decided they looked nice enough to commit to taking the time to break them in. Well...they never loosened up, and they are very uncomfortable. I tried swapping out the insoles thinking that might help, but no luck with that either. Very disappointed.

Too tight in the toe. This is my 3rd pair of same style, same size--these are different!

Super cute shoes- unfortunately very low and really narrow.

The size and fit were true to size. But, the shoes do not look brand new. There is some mottling on the outer sole and some markings on the back of the shoe. I am returning.

The outside ankle area was too low, seemed lower than other pair I have and seemed to cause the heel to slip

I echo many of the other reviewers. I discovered soft 7 early in Pandemic when more informality was ok in the workplace. These shoes were soooo comfortable with no break-in and cute, as well. I got plenty of compliments! I bought 5 pairs over the next couple of years ending I think in late 2021. Didn’t need any more until this last pair in Indigo, It has a narrower toe box and pinched my big toe on my dominant right foot. I am as disappointed as many of these reviewers. Please fix this Ecco!! You had a winning shoe in the past and we notice the difference. FYI I am skinny with an average width foot, I did not give comfort 4 stars as this says. More like 3 .

This is NOT the same shoe as before. I ordered my 3rd pair, as my 2nd pair was looking a little worn. My first 2 pair were comfortable right out of the box. This one is too tight in weird places, most notably across the forefoot where Ecco has decided to add a seam, rather than the flat leather piece. It did not occur to me to read the reviews before ordering, as I THOUGHT I was ordering the same shoe. It seems that Ecco has just shaved a little off here and there, most likely to save money in the long run. But it makes an uncomfortable fit for loyal customers of this shoe. The next size up is too big, so I guess I will stick some shoe stretchers in for a couple of weeks and see how it goes. I will definitely reconsider before ordering this shoe again.

This is a nice looking shoe but the shoe was both short and narrow in my usual size. I might have exchanged it for a larger size, but the leather was very stiff and uncomfortable.

These shoes would have been perfect for me if not for the seam running across the toes which hit my big toe at just the wrong spot. If the leather had been softer, it might not have bothered me, but the shoes are stiff and that seam was a deal breaker. The shoes are cute and I really wanted them to work!

Looks are nice, sole not as soft or as supportive as I was hoping, good for casual wear but too firm for all day (for me). I'm hoping the uppers will soften with wear. I usually wear a 9 1/2 to 10, the toe box height in these are small, and overall a little narrow, so had to take out the insole (as per the customizable option listed- to adjust 10-10 1/2) to create more room. But what's left is not that supportive. Keeping anyway but so so likeability.

Leather is very stiff. I have been wearing these for a few months now, and they are the most uncomfortable flat shoes I own. I can't wear them all day, there is no cushion inside, and adding my own insert just made them tighter, not more comfortable. I'm very disappointed with ECCO.

I expected these to be as comfortable as sneakers, but they are stiff and have very little cushion. They'd probably be better after breaking them in, but I'm not willing to risk it. I'm returning these. There are cute.

Too tight over the top and stiff leather

I usually love Ecco shoes, but this pair of sneakers felt narrower and tighter due to a stitch across the front that pinched my toes.

The shoes are beautiful, but uncomfortably tight. Pince points width on bunions and toe box not high enough.

Beautiful shoes from a quality brand; however, these were a bit stiff for me. I prefer the previous generation that is much softer and more comfortable.

I ordered size 40 like I normally do, but these shoes fit differently. they fit snugger in the front them my other 3 pairs. Shoelaces are hard to tie.

They are really cute but they felt stiff and there was too much arch support for my foot. I dont have a high arch so the support it had hurt my foot

These shoes were cute and I wanted them to work but when I tried them on they were too tight around the toes and I have a very narrow foot. The support underneath pushed my toes up uncomfortably. Too bad.

I tried to like these shoes but there were not comfortable for my somewhat narrow feet. The leather is hard and the edges around the ankle just keep making my feet hurt. I don't think they are a good value for your money, the letter is very stiff and it gets marked easily, that's why they were already a little scratched off the box.

I normally wear 9.5 in sneakers and boots and between 9 and 9.5 in other shoes. Even with the inserts removed, my big toes were touching the top of the toe box. I thought the sneaker was a bit stiff although well made. I normally don't wear socks with sneakers and these did not feel all that comfortable. I have a bunion on one foot and the toe box had ample room for the bunion. I do like the style and sort of white color. Not use if the stiffness of the sneaker would soften up over time. Had to return.

Shoe was beautiful but I was unable to get my foot into it. It felt at least a full size smaller. Too bad as I really liked the look.

This model felt a bit stiff, and the toe box wasn't wide enough for my feet. I like the ECCO brand, but maybe not an ECCO sneaker.

The shoe felt a half size larger. I sized down to a 6.5 but the heel was uncomfortable and rubbed as I tried to walk. Several other places near the toe and sides rubbed.
