This is my 2nd pair of these. I bought them for gym training, specifically Tabata class where there's lots of sideways and turning motion. Running shoes were not stable that way. I can run 3 miles on the TM but wouldn't think they'd be good for long on asphalt or dirt. So bottom line, they're great gym trainers! And my orthotic fit in.

Hmm, if I understand heel-top drop (or offset or differential) a bit, these shoes feel a bit weird to me. When trying them on at home, I noticed a height difference as my foot walked heel to forefoot (ball of my foot) and then came off on my toes. The noticeable part was the forefoot to toes movement. Anyway, the length felt a little short. I'm afraid a half-size (going up to a 10.5) would be too large but my big toe was almost to the end of the toebox. The width seemed fine with my flat feet but the arch support in these felt a bit weird to me, like maybe it was a little too much, as did the "drop" from forefoot to toes. I ordered a 10, which is my normal size for running and cross-training shoes. I'm looking for comfortable shoes for bootcamp, crossfit, etc, but I have flat feet so I need light arch support. Having flat feet also means the widest part of my feet (across the ball of the foot) need slightly more room so I have to stay away from narrow shoes. Incredibly light with excellent arch support. These are stylish, comfortable, and make you want to go to the gym! I usually wear a 9, but these were a bit tight in the toes so I went to a 9.5 and they fit beautifully.

Light, but much better support than the minimalist shoes I was switching from. Cleared up a sore ankle. I mostly use these for the gym, they've been to a wide variety of classes: TRX to Zumba and still comfy.

I was super excited for these - heard great things however was disappointed. The sizing was off. I'm a 10-5 11 and the 11s were far too small. For whatever reason they killed my heels even after just walking around my house. If you do get these, make sure to size a full size up. Going back.

Love these shoes!!! They are super comfortable, provide great support, are a great color and have worn really well. I am thinking about ordering another pair just for when these wear out! I use them mostly for running and weight lifting but are comfortable for wearing just out and about or for a long walk or hike. You won't regret them! Not to mention great value for your money!

Soft, comfortable, and plenty of room in the toe box. Love the bright colors! Highly recommend!

I really love these sneakers. I have the black which is more like greyish/navy, definitely not true black, so for me they work great for the gym and with jeans/shorts which is what I was looking for. I wear a size 9 and the 9 was definitely too small so I ordered a half size up. The length is not overly roomy even with the extra half size and the width feels really nice for me. I have a more narrow to normal width foot. These are my first pair of New Balance. I just really liked the styling and have loved wearing them so far.

Very cute shoes, but do not order these if you run at all for workouts. I ordered these a few months ago and had been using them for cross-fit type workouts as well as interval workouts on my treadmill. After a few weeks of running in these shoes, I have developed very serious heel/arch pain. I can't think of anything that would have caused this other than these shoes.

Lightweight, lots of give for my toes. I like the arch support. I don't need to use orthotics. The colors are very bright on the edges. Really pretty and fun to wear. Wonderful fast delivery.

I was looking for a less structured shoe than I normally buy and this fits the bill. Plenty of cushion and comfy. Looks good (received approval from my teenage daughter!) I've found that New Balance wide shoes are inconsistent. This one is wide enough for my foot, but others have not been.

I am in love with these sneakers. They are light as air with really great style. The toe box is roomy and breathable and the foam is cushiony and comfy. My feet feel heavenly is these gorgeous sneakers.

Just went for my first run in these shoes and was thrilled with the way these handled. I ordered my normal 7.5 size and they fit great. I was worried they may be a bit minimalistic, as I'm used to running with plenty of cushion and support, but the great amount of support in this shoe made up for the lack of cushion. These are lightweight and also a very sleek and feminine, sexy if you will, running shoe.

This shoe is very comfortable. Fits similar to the Nike Free shoe. I am a nurse and on my feet a lot during the day. Also wanted a shoe for walking/running. Fits the bill for all these activities.

These are great sneakers. They are really comfortable. They provide good support but flexible. The like the neon, too.

I absolutely love these! I was looking for shoes for the gym to do weight training and cardio, including some light running, and needed more support than just the minimalist shoes. This is exactly what I was looking for - they are lightweight but structured and supportive. When I am doing lunges, my feet do not feel like they are moving all over the place. They are great shoe; I highly recommend them. Also, as other reviewers said, New Balance tend to run short - I am about a 10½ and ordered an 11 which worked well.

Great shoe - lightweight and provides good stability. I use these for HIT cardio classes and free weights. In running shoes, I normally wear a half size up from my street shoe size - I ordered this a half size up from my street shoes size and this fit as expected.

I love these sneakers. Super comfortable and very stylish. I'm debating getting them in another color. I did have to go a half size up however. Not sure why but once I did the fit was perfect.

Love these! It's my first time owning a pair of black running shoes, and I like the look. I actually use them for working out at the gym and for speed walking on the treadmill. My only tip is order up 1/2 size. They run small. Thanks Zappos!

I have tons of New Balance shoes and these are among my favorites. I always have to go up a half size or a size in tennis shoes, so that wasn't an issue for these. They are super comfortable and look great. I'm going to order another pair in a different color now!

Not wide enough for bunions but great shoe. Good heel support. I prefer the New Balance Fresh Foam.
