Excellent boot. I have a knee which is bone on bone and the cushioning in these boots really helped. THANKS!!!

I am a facilities manager and HVAC tech and on my feet alot. I was in a near fatal motorcycle accident almost 3 years ago that left me in chronic pain. I received a pair of Hoka shoes from a friend of mine to try and help me get back some of the activity that I lost to the accident. After having the shoes for a couple of months and how they helped, I had to go looking for work shoes. Well I found them!! These boots are awesome! Thanks for making such a great product!!

don't know about heavy back country use or durability but very comfortable on trails and pavement. Rather expensive

I live in Fairbanks and Merrills were the gold standard for traction on ice. These boots seem to have even better grip and have the plush ride I associate with Hokas. The tire polished ice of the road I live on no longer gives me pause when heading out for a walk. Looking forward to seeing how they age.

I like to walk and hike often. I also have the beginnings of Morton's Neuroma because i wore shoes that were too narrow and tight for years.In these shoes allow my feet to heal as i wear them. I spent hundreds of dollars on physical therapy, not any more. The more I can wear these shoes the better my feet feel.

My fiancee ordered these for my birthday, after I read several glowing reviews online. They are the most comfortable, stable, great to walk or run in boots I have ever owned. I am a professional K-9 Trainer and on my feet all day long in high altitude Colorado. Great traction in mud, dirt, rocks, snow and ice. I am going to get the Coyote pair next for tactical operations and probably the ATR's for summer. Hoka one one are awesome!

I use these boots for hiking and trail running as well as everyday wear...they are lite yet highly supportive and soles really grab the lose pack on broken trails.

Got them on Tuesday . Hit the ground running on Friday in mud and snow for 30 days and had no issues. No leakage, light, fit very well. Actually did a 10 mile trail,run with no problem.

I run in Cliftons so when I saw an all tan boot I could wear to work I was excited! Wore them for training the first day I got them and they were great. They have awsome traction and are the most comfortable work boot I've ever worn. Will already be purchasing a back up pair.

I received boots with frayed laces. I just hiked 10 miles and was exceptionally pleased with the fit and comfort of these boots. I look forward to a week trek using these boots. They exceeded my expectation. Before using these boots again I will need to replace the defective laces.

Having switched to Hoka Stinson Trail shoes for relay and trail running a few years ago I was excited when I saw the Tor Ultras coming out earlier this year as I was searching for a good hiking boot to tackle Glacier this year.
Put about 100 miles on them on local trails before heading to Glacier in September. Did 40+ miles in Glacier in the cold and wet weather we were greeted with, carrying a 50lbs pack and never once had an issue with my feet.
Since then I have probably put another 100 miles on them on the local trails and they are still in good shape. The soles haven't seemed to wear that much and still provide me great traction running down steep grades.

This is my second pair of Hokas that I have owned and so far, I remain a fan. With the Tor, I ordered the wrong size originally and my second pair is a whole size smaller (went from a 9 to 8) since I am a woman. I recently underwent a total hip replacement and now have a significant limp. As a result, cushioning is highly valued and Hoka succeeds in alleviating a lot of discomfort when walking and performing daily exercise. Naturally, I also love the looks of this shoe! Be prepared for compliments and stares when wearing them. I have received quite a few! As I continue to recover, I look forward to seeing how they respond to more activity and the falling temperatures. I am sure that I will continue to be pleased!

I have been wearing Hoka One One shoes now for a few years. As I have gotten older, and knees progressively worse, I have found that I do better with more cushioning. I have tried a few different brands, but always come back to my Hoka's. I was excited to see they now make boots, as I live in an area with snow and ice in the winter. However, no one seems to make boots with a large amount of cushioning in them until now. I got my pair in this week and have been wearing them every day now. First of all, there is absolutely no break in required. They feel great the minute you put them on. In fact, if it weren't for the higher tops of the boots, you would swear you had on your Hoka shoes. They support my ankles really well, and are very stable when on uneven terrain. I'm looking forward to trying these out this winter. I highly recommend them for people looking for cushioning and waterproof qualities. I will definitely be buying more pairs as these wear out.

I am outside landscaping or playing every day. I have been trying to find a boot that is comfortable, provides support, and that eliminates the foot pain that I encounter by the middle to end of every day. This boot is the winner so far, and I have tried many. If the toe box was slightly wider, and if these prove to be durable, then I would say they are close to perfect.
