Doesn't last: I've had these less than two years and the sole of the boot has already peeled away at the heel. I've worn them semi-frequently, just for walking around town -- no hiking or hard work that would stress the materials. The shoe that hasn't fallen apart developed an annoying squeak recently as well. A real shame because otherwise the design is nice (although as others have noted, they lack any arch support). Save your money for something that will last.

Currently my favorite boots, possibly ever. I'm a timberland guy but these boots are stylish and waterproof, the hooks at top make for easier on and off, chukka height is just right... Can be worn for night out, shoveling driveway, work everyday, you name it. Big fan right now.

These are great looking boots but they are extremely uncomfortable in the foot bed due to almost no padding. The insole is 1/8 inch thick with no arch support and the sole beneath the insole is hard. Not a good shoe for wearing all day but nice looking for a dinner outing.

These look great and require little break-in (I wore them around my house to try them out, and they are comfortable to walk-in right away). However they are SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE if you stand in one place for even a few minutes. There is a very hard plastic footbed with an extremely thin pad covering it. I have no idea why they would have gone with such skimpy footbed padding for such an otherwise goodlooking and well-built shoe. The footbed is not removable, so up to you if you feel you can replace it in a way that will work for you. If you try these, I encourage you to just use your finger and push down on the inside of the shoe where your heel will rest. If you do this to this shoe and another shoe you own, you will be amazed at how little cushioning there is in the heel of the footbed for this shoe compared to any other shoe you own. Bummer - since I really liked the way they look. However I'm on my feet a good amount of the day, and stand in place sometimes when I'm working - so must send them back.

Great boots! Comfortable and true fit. They're breaking in nicely and look extremely well made.

Looks good, fits good, waterproof... HOWEVER, first time I wore on a snowy day (4"-5") I almost felt I am walking barefoot. To the point that I had to come back home and change shoes. Feels like there is no isolation inside. Big disappointment. I guess this would make a great shoe in light winter areas or in spring.

These are very comfortable boots. They are soft and already have that broken in feel. The fit was perfect. I wore them for 2 days straight and they felt like an old friend. The only thing I noticed, as others did based on reviews, is that they aren’t as easy to put on due to the leather being so soft and the opening being slightly smaller than other boots I have had. Not a game changer at all. Once they are on, you’ll love them.

These boots are great! It's the first pair of boots I've owned in years, and they're perfect. They weather great right out of the box - if you're hoping they'll stay looking the way they arrive, you'll be disappointed - but the weathering is what I was hoping for.

These boots are fantastic! Very well made and extremely durable. The soles are water resistant and are strong. They do not wear out easy. They are the perfect height. And the laces are very durable too. And they are very comfortable and stylish. I wear them with a straight leg jean which is just wide enough to cover the top part of the boot and sit well around the midsole. I would not hesitate to buy another pair.

These boots are amazing. Super comfortable, great traction. I use them for wearing as a business professional. They are great boots without looking like a lumberjack!

My husband says these are the best boots he's ever had. They felt broken-in from the moment he put them on. His foot is a little wider than normal and the 10.5 fit perfectly. The leather looks soft and classy and the waterproofing is great. They're even attractive enough for the (casual) office!

These were great. Comfortable on day 1. I even got a complement from one of the fashionable hipsters in my office (I'm middle aged), as well as one of my peers. Look great. Feel great.

I love this shoes, look a me feel great

I live in Portland, OR, where it is often damp. Furthermore, I don't have a car, so I'm biking most days, and these Wolverine Chukkas are amazing for keeping my feet dry. There is enough room to comfortably wear wool socks, though they definitely feel true to size. They feel very stable, and my jeans don't get caught up over them. The soles provide tremendous traction, and I never feel even slightly as if I'll slip. They feel great, they're definitely waterproof, and I should mention the chukka style in brown 1 simply look amazing. I feel like these can be worn anywhere, including in my (very laid back) office at work. I am really thrilled with these, and highly recommend them for looks, comfort, and functionality.

These felt true to size. Very stylish and waterproof is a plus. Very light boot, which is a feature that can't be overlooked.

FITS TRUE TO SIZE. I'm writing this review because another reviewer mentioned his size 13's were a size and a half too large. I usually wear a size 13 regular (in athletic shoes, dress shoes and boots), and this boot size 13 fits me perfectly. Like all good boots, they'll take a little breaking in. Here's a tip to speed up the process: put them on and take a few steps to find out where the stiff places are, then take them off and work those areas vigorously with your hands to loosen them up. Try them back on to gage your progress, and repeat. After that, you'll still need to lace 'em up and break 'em in the old fashioned way, but it will be a matter of a few hours instead of a few days. All that being said, I absolutely love these boots! They hit that sweet spot where they are tough enough for a long day of work and stylish enough to throw on with a pair of jeans for a night out. And to top it off, they are actually comfortable! Already my favorite pair of boots, ever.

Love the boots but are much larger than the size. I normally wear a 13 and ended up exchanging them for an 11.5, which fits great!

A lot of people said these are a half size too big, but I’m normally 11 and I needed to get an 11.5 because 11 was so small I couldn’t even get the shoe on.

Leather feels stiff out of the box, but seems like it will break in nicely. There's zero arch support, basically a flat sole. That might break in as well, but it was disappointing out of the box. Also the "grey" is very brown.

Love these boots. More for style than comfort but as I’ve worn them more and broken them in they are forming nicely to my feet.
