I bought this bag 3 months ago. I wasn't disappointed. I have used this everyday for work and over all general use. I have packed it full and have barely had anything in it. It holds up well. Three is only one complaint that i have. Its the straps / handles. They are shaped in thestyle of a rope with a side seam. After a while, they do hurt. I believe this bag would be a full 5 stars of the straps were made with a flat design. Then they would be more comfortable and will stay up on your shoulder. Otherwise, it is still my everyday bag!!

I bought this purse about a month ago and decided to return it because I was debating between this tote and the Melissa satchel. Basically, this purse just didn't look that different from another cheaper brand purse that you could buy at a discount store. Up close you can tell that it was a better quality purse. I ordered the slate color and it really was not the best color for me as it looked more like a dark green/brown blend color. I immediately ordered the Melissa satchel in dark brown and that is a keeper for sure. I really like that style and color better than this one.

I live in the mountains and wanted a refined bag with a rugged feel. This leather is gorgeous, it has character and a deep wine color. It is a wonderful alternative to black or brown, and goes with everything. It is not too heavy when empty, which can be a problem for bags this size. The interior is very roomy, and the center divider has a zippered compartment that is padded. There are two interior pockets that fit a phone perfectly. There is a small zippered pocket on the other interior side. The handles are also padded and fit easily over my shoulder. I only wish it had an outside pocket, then it would be perfect.

I recently purchased this handbag and is my first Frye purse. I love pockets and dividers. Also love your use of destressed leather. However it's still lacks what bags in this price range want. First as women we get tired of digging for stuff. Put a small slit or zippered pocket on the outside for cellphone and keys. And last to preserve the leather and the amount of money we spent the purse should have feet so the bottom doesn't get all scratched. Add those things and I think it's a perfect purse and worth the money. If you really want your brand to be tops then make it for women meaning and outside pocket and dividers inside. We really hate digging for stuff. I look forward to future designs.

I bought this for myself for my birthday. My daughter bought me the wallet to go with it. Every time I go out I get compliments on it and it's no wonder. It's an eye catcher for sure. It's a heavy, quality leather that I've had my eye on for a while now. So glad I took the plunge. It will last forever! A very Happy Birthday to me!!

nice bag with good quality leather and color; however, the straps are very very thick and uncomfortable. Would have liked to have seen this bag with flat straps. Unfortunately I have to return this now because of the straps.

I bought the grey tote and love it. he dividers inside the purse is great or organization. I just wish it was a little lighter.

I bought this a month ago. Very rich looking. It's a little heavy but I carry a lot. Love the color I bought the cognac.

I ordered this bag to match my boots and I am very happy with it. I especially like the divider in the middle. The handles are slightly different colors from each other, but overall a great bag.

Seems to be very well constructed. I actually liked the handles. Fern color was lovely. Returning because it just looks too casual and weathered to be a work bag for me. Not a refined style. Also, hardware was a dark brass color, not silver. (I wanted silver. Whaa.)

Great bag but the handle is annoying and won't stay on your shoulder.

I love so many wonderful features of this bag except the chemical and leather odor was overpowering and smelled very toxic to me. I am returning it.

I love the bag however don't like the new mate black finish. This bag looks so much better in the rugged antique look.

I bought this a few weeks ago but returned it due to the large size. Lovely purse just too large for my needs.

I fell in love with this bag the first time I saw it and was so excited when it arrived. Unfortunately I had to return it because the straps dug into my shoulder and I'm too short to carry it lower. It is gorgeous and it killed me to return it.

I love the size, weight, and feel of this bag. The leather is very high quality. I love that it stands on its own without collapsing onto itself when set down. However, I got the cognac because I'm in love with the distressed look that is pictured. The bag I received looks NOTHING like the picture. I still like the bag, but it's nothing like I was expecting. In the picture, there are lighter and darker areas of leather. The bag I got is all uniformly the same shade of dark brown leather. You would barely call it distressed, while the bag in the picture clearly has that look to it. I would LOVE the bag if it was more like the picture. That's the bag I wanted. I'm so disappointed.

I had high hopes for this purse but as soon as I finished unwrapping it I made the decision to send it back. It did not live up to the pictures I saw on the website. The purse was heavier than I expected and the leather was scuffed.

I received this just about a week or two ago. Loved it when it arrived, but now that I have carried it for a week, it is VERY heavy. Also the leather slips a bit with anything in it so it is hard to get the magnetic closure to work. The straps are too short to throw over your shoulder with one hand. Very disappointing. Only positive, is I love the color. Would return it if I could.
