Caveat: I’m a woman with thick thighs, so take this review with that in mind. I was looking for thin, stretchy, insulated base layer pants with generous thigh room and a high rise. These fit the bill, with the 2X size working well for me. I generally take an 18-20-22 in jeans and a 1x or 2X in women’s leggings, depending on the brand. I went for the men’s style because women’s base layer pants are frequently too tight and low in the hips for my preference.
They have held up well for me over three months, getting worn at least twice a week alone, as a base layer, or layered over a pair of wool base layer pants. Worn alone for active movement they keep me warm enough down to perhaps 25 degrees F, but not too hot in normal indoors temperatures. Under jeans they’re good down to 15-20 degrees. Layered with wool they keep me toasty warm down to single digits. It doesn’t get colder than that where I live, but these are so good for layering on various ways that I’m sure they’d be useful in colder circumstances as well.

They're winter's worst enemy; can beat the cold climates.

Wow! These are the best base layer tights I've ever had - and I've had lots. Very warm but not overly bulky: they're comfortable and flexible. Planning to buy another pair or two.

I picked these up mid-season. They were not the cheapest but also not the priciest.
I have worn them a couple weeks now and have been very pleased with them. They are not super tight like others I have tried. On the other hand, they are not baggy. They are very comfortable. The seat has enough stretch and is cut in a way that they don't pull down and reveal the dreaded plumbers butt crack when squatting or bending.
The elastic around the waist and cuffs seems strong enough to last over time. Ask me next season and I will know for sure.
This is the kind of item I don't buy every year. I believe this was a good investment and look forward to many days of warmth.

I now own three pairs of these, and I might have to get more because my wife keeps "borrowing" them. They are perfect for winter activities and are plenty warm for New England winters under a pair of basic work pants. I also wear them hunting, and the difference between wearing and not wearing them when sitting in a tree stand in sub-freezing temperatures is notable.

These are my husband's favorite thermals for winter. He works outdoors a lot and they really help him to keep warm. Thank you.

They have a nice stretch and can be pulled up a bit higher with the top tucked in to really keep you warm. I will be getting another pair soon.

Comfortable and warm. The pants are thin but warm and fit under your clothes well.

I was a little skeptical about how the omni-tek would feel against my skin, but they're hardly noticeable on. They did the trick under my ski bib and kept me nice and warm. My last pair (tops and bottoms) are two-layer wool with polypropylene and very nice, but these are warm and not as bulky.

Typically I'm sensitive to how clothing fits and feels, particularly when it's designed to be on the tighter end. But these are perfectly comfortable and I look forward to particularly cold weather when I can have a good excuse to wear them.

Bought the heavy weight tops and bottom. They keep me toasty warm in 10 degrees or below weather in Minnesota activities. Above 10 degrees and your just too warm. I have owned this over a year. Gonna buy a second set, may get the medium weight this time. Highly recommend the Omni-Heat tech.

Coaching outside in Oregon winter rain keeps me always looking for a nice heavyweight baselayer that isn't bulky. These keep me warm in the cold winter rain under only our normal training gear.

I bought these for my son two years ago and the last two seasons of skiing have been wonderful. . He has always been a very hot body and doesn't like to be uncomfortably warm. So it's hard to decide what to wear as a base layer skiing so that he's not too hot or too cold. These are perfect! They keep him warm And they wick his sweat so after a day of skiing he still feels comfortable. He loves them so much I got a second pair for him!
