I like the fit. I'm 5'7" with a 36" waist and find it hard to find a base layer with a short inseam. These pants kept me warm this past week in Park City with 5 degree temperatures. I only needed a shell over them. I would recommend them.

These thermals are ridiculously warm. The last month in Minnesota has been a perfect test and OmniTech smashed it. I'll never get cold legs again!

Honestly, I thought that perhaps the reflective thing was a gimmick. I am still not 100% sure its not, but these are warm! I couldnt believe it, compared to other thermal underwear I own these are hands down the warmest. Only drawback is that they are so warm that I did end up sweating a bit in them. So, If I was in super cold weather, that would be something I would need to watch out for.

These heavyweights are different from midweights, because they have the thermal looking outside as opposed to the shiny slippery outside of the midweights. Additionally, they are MUCH warmer. For reference, my boyfriend is 5'11' 210 lbs and large on top and bottom fits tightly as they should. He said they are great for outdoors as his job requires them to be outside 8+ hours a day, but said they are for the colder, windier days, as he wore them with moderate activity in 40 degree weather and said the tops were a little too warm. He did however have a vest and heavier coat on over them. If you are torn between midweight and heavyweight, I would say go heavyweight on the bottom for below 40 and go midweight and another sweater/long sleeve layer on the top for ~40 degree weather. Anything colder, I think you are safe with heavyweights on top and bottom together.

Shipping was fast, and this is a product that truly lives up to what it is advertised to do. My husband works outdoors as a delivery man, and he says he has never experienced a set of thermals that insulate so efficiently while feeling comfortable against his skin in his life. These thermal pants could not do a better job. We were somewhat skeptical initially, but a few days of wear in the harsh winter made believers out of us. We are extremely thankful for the functionality of these thermals.

As a mail man who walks 8 miles a day on my route dressing warm is a must! The Columbia baselayer heavyweight 2 fits great and keeps me warm. I suggest you try them if you have to time outdoors at your job or on that 10 mile hike.

Fantastic; great fit, great mobility. Wore them underneath my sweats in freezing weather and it actually felt like I had a heater on - without being too warm! Fantastic value for the price point.

Bought these for my paramedic, weight lifting son. They keep him warm in when he is at work in the elements and give him the flexibility he needs.

This product coupled with fleece wading pant results in warmth even when fly fishing in 40 degree water. There is simply no other product I have used that is any where close to Omniheat in keeping you warm.

Nice, warm and comfy. Keeps the cold winter burn away. Keeps me nice, warm and dry. It doesn't make my skin itch. Good quality and omni-tech. It gets real cold here in MN during the winter months so this is a great addition to stay warm.

Received these just as the coldest part of this winter arrived in the Tahoe Area. Used for multiple activities, including snowshoeing and alpine skiing. Kept me warm no matter the pant I wore. No bulk and fits just right.

Kept me nice and warm during all the bad cold weather we got in SC this year. I walk about a half mile to our duck blind and they were also breathable enough to keep me from overheating.

I bought the thermal top and was so impressed by how warm it was I bought the bottoms as well. The reflective surface on the inside really keeps the heat in. They are comfortable as well. Highly recommended.

Warm and snug, not bulky. I am a professional skier, a powder guide, at Powder Mountain in Utah. I spend most of my days above 8000 feet. I bought the tops and bottoms and I love the insulatI've properties. also they are much warmer then their thickness would suggest. It seems the reflective inside layer achieves the same or better results than adding density to the polypropylene! The reflective interior seems to do the job as they claim. If it works for me chances are it will work for you.
