Was looking for a good looking mid-weight jacket and think I found it in this one. It's light and comfortable. So far, I have not put it to the extreme cold test but that's not what I bought it for. Also like the design and features of this jacket. Wish it had Velcro on the sleeves instead of snaps since the sleeves are a little long for me. I could tighten them more with Velcro. Considered a lot of jackets before deciding on this one but very pleased with it. Lots of jackets were too tight in the shoulder which would require the next size up making them too large for the rest of my body. Shoulder room was ample in this jacket.

The sleeves are a little bit longer, but this keeps your hands and wrists warm. Plenty of pockets make storage of your gloves and keys easily accessible. Snaps instead of velcro keep the jacket flap snug. It is stylish looking. On cold days, I feel so warm, particularly around the neck and legs.It does a great job of blocking the wind. The jacket is a little longer than average. I am pleased with the quality and prepared for the cold.

To kick things off, the jacket is great. It looks really nice so it can be used whether you are wearing it to work or on a camping trip in the woods. The versatility with the inner/outer layer makes you ready for any occasion. It does fit a little big, but manageably. I will say that after camping out in 37F weather, I wish it were a little warmer. The trade off is that the inner layer is really light weight. It is probably ideal for 43F and up for longer periods outside and it would be fine for shorter amounts of time at colder temperatures. Overall: 5/5

Few days after I got this wore it cleaning ice and snow off my long driveway. Air temps were single digits with sub-zero chill factor. Had on long johns, jeans, flannel shirt, wool sweater and my Elmer Fudd hat along with it. Was outside awhile and my feeble old body never got chilled. Very warm for being so light and blocks the wind well. Just as important is the fit. Can bend, stretch, and shovel with no binding. Only improvement I'd make is adding a waist draw cord along with the one at the hem. Overall very satisfied with jacket.

This jacket is very comfortable and stylish, I really like the outer shell's look. The inner jacket being a solid color on the outside makes it a rather strange jacket to wear by itself however when worn with the outer jacket looks great. The jacket is longer than most which is nice so it keeps my lower half warm as well.

Got this jacket to replace my old jacket that is 15 years old. Love this jacket because it provides great warmth (even when it was -20 F yesterday morning on my way to work) without much bulk. Have always been very happy with how durable Columbia products have been in the past and this jacket feels like it is just as well made as any other. Like the leather "Columbia" patches, adds a little bit of character! Would strongly recommend this jacket to others. Have gotten lots of compliments on how nice it looks.

This jacket is excellent. I took it skiing and it was warm in zero degrees. The liner comes in and out easily and is especially warm. Jacket is very rugged and substantial, very warm and I love it!

I really like this Velcro free jacket. It's made of quality materials. I chose not buy a black color jacket and opted for the navy college one. When I get it, I realized that it looks better than in the picture. I can wear it while I'm driving and it doesn't feel too hot. When I go to downtown Chicago, I park my car like two blocks away from the train station and with this Jacket I don't feel cold and not hot. It's like if it maintains a confortable temperature for my body.

My husband LOVES this jacket. The 3 in 1 makes it a year round jacket. He did have to return the xlarge for a large because it runs a bit large.

I have had Columbia jackets for decades. I have never been disappointed with them. The company always takes the higher ground in quality and service. This jacket is no exception. It is a multipurpose jacket that can worn throughout all of the Minnesota seasons due to its versatility.

The fit of the jacket/coat is pretty much true to size. However, although the sleeves of the removable thermal interior liner are buttoned near the wrist, they could be a little shorter. They have a tendency to extend just a little beyond the jacket/coat sleeve. Storage capacity is phenomenal! Zippered Chest Pockets, Zippered Interior Pocket, and Snap closure Pockets at the bottom are all very deep. The jacket/coat is also very lightweight yet it kept me comfortably warm considering where I live has very cold winters.

This is an awesome jacket. It's lightweight, high quality, and it keeps you very warm. It works very well against rain, and keeps you dry. There are several pockets for storage, and it is very versatile. You won't be disappointed.

I had been searching for a jacket that I can wear in the city with business casual while at the same time be functional in the high mountains to keep me warm on my "hikes". I ordered this jacket to give it a try and sure enough, it exceeded my expectations. I recently returned from a short trip to central Europe, where I had to walk from urban to rural terrains in sub zero temperatures. This jacket kept me so warm that I wound up sweating! Luckily I had on my merino wool base layer to dry out the sweat. Overall, this jacket far surpassed my needs and I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone that wants to look good while maintaining full functionality of warmth.

Jacket and colors very pleasing to the eye, fits as advertised, insulated liner. Jacket is good to about 32 degrees F., not colder, despite insulated lining. But is lightweight, flexible, and great to work or hike in down to those temperatures.

I live in Wyoming and this jacket is great for layering here. On the colder days (single digits to negative degrees) it's super warm with a sweatshirt on under it. Teens and above, just the jacket! I also wore the inner portion in California on vacation, temps in the low 50s with clouds and it was perfect, not too warm, not too cold.

I purchased this coat as a Christmas gift for my husband. He is 6'4" tall and approximately 170 pounds. The large was a perfect fit in length. (A little roomy in the middle but an XL would have been too big.) The color is beautiful (he loves it!) and the versatility of the 3-in-1 is awesome for this hunter, gunsmith, outdoorsman!
