I'm an adult petite woman wearing girl XL size. I like the fit and length. A bit more room than women S Thermoball. I wish the cuff has electric inside like adult woman thermoball parka. The sleeves are a tiny big long for me.

Have not worn yet this winter so I can't comment on how warm it is. Lightweight and comfortable, seems like it would be more suited towards late fall early winter given the thinness of the coat. Other then that it looks and fits great.

Cute coat but for the price of the jacket why can't North Face sew a coat-loop/hanging loop?!

My 10 year old is very picky with the look and bulk of a winter coat. This is not bulky at all. Its also great that its longer, so provides extra coverage, but not as long as a traditional parka. Other reviews have said that although its thin, its warm - we haven't had any really cold days yet so I can't attest to that, but hoping!

This jacket is way too thin for what I need. I live in NYC and we take public transportation everywhere. Standing in the cold - we need something a little heavier.

Purchased this jacket for my daughter for Christmas. Jacket fits great, except the zipper gets stuck at two different points while she is both zipping up and unzipping. When I contacted North Face directly, I was advised to use bar soap or crayons on the zipper. If I want to return it for a new coat or have it fixed, it would be 4-8 weeks. Unfortunately, in the height of the winter, this isn't going to work for us. Disappointed that for this price, the best they could offer is a remedy that could ruin the jacket if not done right or a 4-8 week time frame. I won't recommend until North Face figures out how to make the zippers not stick (I read other reviews with this same complaint).

Adorable coat. Very nice fitted style. Like the other reviewers said, it's thin but warm. I've had two of these. The first one had a tear in it when we received it. Zappos was gracious enough to exchange. My daughter had worn the exchanged coat for a month and another tear appeared on the sleeve. This material is terrible. Nothing like the material used for The North Face coats that are bulkier. This fabric is so thin that it is susceptible to tears from the slightest stress. I'm extremely disappointed as this coat costs a small fortune.

I bought this Girls Thermoball Parka for my daughter who wanted a longer jacket than the original Thermoball - big mistake! TNF used a plastic zipper on the Parka instead of a metal zipper (like the original jacket) and it jammed up every couple of inches. It's a cheap flimsy zipper that's REALLY long because the Parka is long so the zipper got stuck the 3 feet. I'm disappointed TNF would use such inferior components considering how expensive their products are.
