I have to say, these pants do not look as warm as they really are! They are very warm. I wear them in the deep snow hiking around. Or while Snow shoeing or on a snow mobile. In temps from 0-30 degrees ( with long johns) The reason I said they run small. I normally wear a 1x/ 2x and found that I needed to order 3 x. Which I find I have to do in most Columbia products.

2x bottoms usually run a little big on me, but these were smaller...could get them on, but waist was too small.

I generally wear an 18 in pants, but went with the 2x in case I want to wear a base layer. The pants fit around the waist, so I would say the run a little on the small side. They are a very nice quality and will keep me warm without a base layer. Haven't worn them yet, but am I looking forward to it.

Great snowpants! The color and quality are right on.Comes with adjust waste on days you need a little less or more. Will be returning only due to size. I am a size 18 and ordered up after reading reviews. 3x they fall off my hips. Ordered down a size waiting for delivery.

These pants are warm, light, and not bulky, so they serve their purpose, they're great snow pants! They do fit a bit small, so I'd definitely go a size up on these. I also wish they had the waist Velcro tabs so you could adjust the waist and a bit more leg room to allow for better range of motion. Overall, they fit pretty well, so I ended up keeping them.

I found these snow pants to be comfortable and allowed for moving around and playing in the snow very comfortable. They run about 1 size small. I would probably wear a 1X normally but had to go up one size. Especially if you're planning on layering. The panel sewn into the upper inseam seemed not to be as water resistant/proof as the rest of the pant. It wasn't enough to discourage me from using them. I just made sure to allow them to dry a bit between uses. They worked great in varying depths of snow as well!

I use these for downhill skiing. I really like the leg gators and the size is true. I'd like the pants to have a pocket on the top of the thigh and a D ring or other means of attaching a lift ticket or pass. Very warm, windproof and did a fast job of drying out after getting snowed on heavily. I'd recommend these pants to others and encourage Columbia to make some functional additions to these pants.

I am 3x and though I could put these on, they had no extra space for another layer underneath and were too tight around the thigh and crotch area. I felt if I were to squat in them or move too much they would rip. Such a bummer because as soon as I put them on I could tell they would keep me warm! I wish they were a bit bigger. I had to return them.

Not so comfortable when I needed to be most comfortable in the snow. But definitely keeps you warm. Etcetc warm

I read all the reviews and really wanted to love these pants. I ordered these and the Schafer Canyon styled pants and these barely fit while the others were too big! The pants feel like great quality and the color is really nice. They seem very warm, but I have to return them because of how tight they are in the thighs.

I was so excited to finally find a plus size coat, I even checked the sizing chart to ensure that it was the correct size. When I tried it on I found that it was much smaller than it needed to be.

Very warm, they are actually hot when you have physical activity. Waist is too large. Bought 2x tight on thighs but large loose waist, the 3x was entirely too big.

I usually wear an 18 or 20 in pants. According to the size chart for this pant, a 2x should have been plenty roomy, but even the 3x was impossible. My thighs are a combination of muscular and just big, and I have a booty. Even in the 3x the legs were skin tight and the rise was too low for me - I could close the pants, but I had serious plumber's butt in them. So, I would not recommend them for anyone with bigger legs and booty. The quality appeared to be very nice and I wanted to like them, but I need to be able to move in my sports clothes and these pants don't work for me.

I have the same pants in XL that are too small in the waist so I ordered the 1X but they were still too tight in the waist and also really big in the legs. I had to return them.

Unfortunately, I can't rate the quality of the pants because they were much too big to wear. It's not useful to have a sizing chart if the chart is incorrect.

Please make bigger sizes. Large women do ski and need quality outerwear.

Ordered these pants for an upcoming ski trip. The pants are warm and if good material but the fit is off in many different places for me. I normally wear a 3X so I had to order that size since Columbia doesn't carry anything bigger. The pants were a little tight around my knees but fit my thighs. The rise on this pant is also very low which caused me to feel rather uncomfortable.

These fit weird and are not for shapely women with hips. I wear a solid XL or 1X everywhere and tjese barely came up.

When I reviwed the size chart, my measures did match with 2X size, but when arrive it was very large.., a lot off My weight is 92 kg, if help for your decisin

I do not get these pants... I've owned a pair of Columbia Ski pants in XL for a few years and they're my favorite pair. They're a little big, but I don't mind because it means I can layer up on really cold days. Based on recent reviews, though, I decided to go up a size (to 1X) for the same fit. What happened!? They're super tight in the waist, really baggy in the legs, but somehow snug in the crotch?? So unflattering and, quite honestly, goofy looking. On a positive note, they're warm... But so are more flattering pants. Returning.

I am so frustrated by plus sized snow pants sizing. I wear a 1x or 2x in Columbia shirts and comfortably fit into MANY different styles of plus sized Columbia pants but I bought the 3x snow pants to give myself some breathing room on the snowmobile and these pants aren't even close to buttoning. Make the pants in the same manner as the rest of the sizing! These seem like they would be so freakin nice! I am so disappointed by the size. Give us big girls something to fit into!

The fit is terrible as a plus size person. I ordered a size up from what I normally wear and I couldn't even get the pants over my thighs. These run small by at least 2 sizes.
