Love these boots. They run true to size. They are so comfortable, and extremely waterproof, and oh yes, stylish. I probably will get another color this year as Sorel has a tendency to retire their styles. This is one worth keeping. It was 15 degrees yesterday with 8 inches new snow.

I was slightly skeptical about ordering these boots because of their height (I'm 6'1" and didn't want to look like Frankenstein thumping about in them) and the minute I put them on, my doubts were completely gone. These are beautiful boots. I bought the grey and the grey is slightly darker than what is pictured, but it makes for a nice contrast. They definitely feel a half size too big, but thick socks solves the problem. Now, to wait 110 days until I REALLY break them in on my trip to Iceland this March. So glad they're stylish, comfortable, and water proof. I'm going to need all of those!

OMGGGGGGG this is my DREAM boot!! This boot hits the trifecta: 1) DESIGN is KILLER and exactly my style - funky, stylish, dress up or down.... 2) COMFORT! I can't stress enough how great they nailed this one. I have bad feet as of this whole past year, been seeing an ortho foot doc who had me only wearing very supportive Birks or Danskos, but I've been craving tall boots and I can't be happier with the comfort of these. Footbed is wide enough not to cramp my feet, and I wear thin socks, and leggings most of the time to work, so these are my new regulars.... and 3) TOP QUALITY! They have used the best materials, and did not skimp on one little thing....I am thrilled with my Cate the Greats!!! When a company pleases me as much as these boots did.....I want more. LOL. Therefore I've ordered two more pairs of Sorels, and hoping they impress me just as much as these Cates did! I HIGHLY recommend Cate the Great boots by Sorel. Now I want the other colors. :-0

I ordered these boots and they are super comfortable. I love these. I have never paid this much for a boot, but it was well worth the money. I got so many compliments on these.

I purchased these with no intent on keeping them; I simply wanted to see how they looked. As someone who owns zero pairs of heels or wedges, I was convinced I would try them on, have a glance in the mirror to satisfying my curiosity, and immediately send them back. Instead, I was amazed at how comfortable they were and how stable I felt in them. I have a wide foot so I purposely went half a size up; the length has a bit of wiggle room, but this accommodates the width well, and allows me sock and insole options. I have since worn these all day at work, along with shopping, errands, etc., and am ready to order another color. As someone who has sensitivity issues and always opts for comfort over style, I love when I find both in one. These are definitely a keeper!

These are very comfy. I have some foot problems and avoid heels, but these are not too high and the wedge decreases the angle. I am short(5'1") and have heavy calves. These fit like a charm. I like them! They are roomy in the toe box as well.

The first time I ordered these boots they were flawed. I loved them so returned them for another pair. They are very funky and comfortable, which are two very important qualities.

These boots are so comfortable, stylish and warm. I live in the mountains and I can wear these all day and be very comfortable but still look very stylish if I have to go out.

I am so glad I bought this boot! It is so comfortable and yet stylish! I did size up a half size and that was perfect! And I love Zappos! Their customer service is the best!

These boots are very cool looking. They are comfortable right out of the box although I have not worn them for long yet. I was afraid of the high wedge because I never wear heels any more. Walking around the house I was amazed that they are steady and comfortable and do not feel like a 3" heel at all.

I loved these boots out of the box. I felt they were a little expensive but once I put them on I had to keep them! I am on my feet all day long and they were totally comfortable.

These boots are super comfortable and stylish. I have very skinny calves and even though there is still a small gap with the boots laced up, I love them. I ordered black and really like the gray contrast. I am a true 7½ and the 7½ fits great. The laces are very long and flop around. I have tried wrapping them around the top once before tying and cannot decide if I like this or long floppy laces. They are definitely the most comfortable boots ever.

I love these boots! I have heel spurs and the wedge helps a lot with that. they look great... am 5'4" and they are not too high...do not press against the kneecap as many boots do.

Big calf girl love!! These boots are an absolute love! They are comfortable and stylish. I get compliments every time I wear them. I ordered the grey/black. They are more grey than black and even have a hint of brown in the front suede panel making them great to wear with black or brown clothes. I have 15 3/4" calf with no clothes on. The lace up makes these perfect as they fit my larger calf with jeans on. I really wanted the slimpack boot but I can barely get them over my calf. The wedge adds a bit of sexy to the very sporty boot. Even with the wedge I can wear all day with no issues. Cons: my only con is that the strings loosen as the day goes on making it necessary to tighten throughout the day.

I LOVE these boots. Comfy, no break-in period required. They are also different looking--which is a bonus. Bravo, Sorel!

Absolutely love these boots! Beautifully crafted! Super Comfy. I usually wear a 7 but should have gotten a 6 1/2. I like boots to fit snug but 7 is fine. They don't have any lining so a thin wool sock will work great for warmth. I bought black but all of them are nice.

OMG!! I love these boots! I just took them out of the box and they fit like a glove. They have just enough height to make them stylish, yet comfortable enough to wear in inclement weather! Let it rain and snow!! I can't wait to wear them.

These boots are unique and comfortable! I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered a 7 1/2. They fit great. I live in Louisiana and it doesn't get too cold here, so I am wearing them with thin socks. But I definitely have room for thicker socks. Have worn them with skinny jeans and a skirt and have had many compliments.

These boots are better than I expected. They are comfortable and look great. They are well worth the money. I will be purchasing the other colors.

So I got really excited when I saw this boot and even more excited when I put it on! It's so cute and unique and the best part, it fits perfectly! I wear an 11, bought an 11 and I couldn't ask for a better fit.

CUTE! Can't wait to wear theses boots! I live in northern Michigan, we get lots of cold, snow and bad weather. Consequently I wear boots everyday. These boots are stylish and comfy! Love the wedge!

These boots are super cute! They are fancy enough for going out and casual enough to wear every day. Love the different textures of the boot. I do wish they came in a 5 or 5.5. I got them in a 6.

These boots are even cuter in person. I wasn't sure how versatile they would be but they really do go with almost anything, skinny jeans, Leggings, skirts...They're comfortable warm and waterproof. thumbs up!

Cute, comfy and runs true to my size as I always buy a 6 in shoes except my athletic shoes. I have largish calves 15, 15 1/2 inches so the lace up styling works well for me in that regard. I am also only 5'1" tall, so the height of the shaft of the boot is perfect on my legs as well. I get compliments when I wear them. Cute and very stylish.

Gorgeous boots. Comfortable, fit well, stylish. The shorter Joan of Arc wedge won out since I don't need two pairs. If they were half the cost I'd keep the short and the long. :)
