Absolutely my favorite new boots! They are warm, comfortable, not slippery on Wisconsin snow covered sidewalks and parking lots. Great purchase! I normally wear a size 8, I did size down to a 7.5.

I am tall and these boots are so comfortable to walk in. At night I seriously do not want to take them off. I usually wear a 10 and mine are a 10. I feel they fit to size. I love them. Yay Sorel for making comfortable, cute, tall boots.

Absolutely love these! They are made beautifully and are so comfortable. The only issue is that the smallest size they make/I could find is a 6, I wear 5 1/2. I wear thicker socks and it works!

I LOVE these boots. They are so comfortable and stylish. You can dress them up or make them super casual. I wore them while exploring Europe and while hanging out in a ski village. SUPER comfortable. Even after wearing them and walking around for 8+ hours a day, for multiple days, my feet didn't hurt. They are great right out of the box. They run slightly big, but with a thick pair of socks they are perfect. I bought the grey and they go with everything! You can't go wrong with this purchase. Even thought they are a little pricey they will be your new favorite shoes!

Love these boots, very stylish and comfortable. I usually wear an 8; however, went down 1/2 a size and ordered a 7 1/2 and they are perfect. First time I wore them I received several compliments. Would highly recommend them!

I am so in love with these boots! Sorel has done it again. Their attention to detail and high quality make investing in their boots a no brainer for me. I am a tall girl. 5'9 and I wear size 11 shoes. It is hard to find boots in size 11 that do not make my feet look like I am wearing clunky man shoes. These boots fit so nicely and looks feminine. I get compliments every time I wear them and they go with everything! These boots are a must for every gal's winter wardrobe.

Love these boots, I have been wearing them for a little over a week now. They are great in the snow, and are very good at keeping my feet dry. I was a little worried about the height of the wedge, but they don't feel high. They are very comfy and cushy. My only complaint is that they are a little heavy.

I absolutely love these! I am suffering from plantar fasciitis and needed new boots that were trendy/functional, and Sorel does it again! They are comfortable right out the box and I cannot even tell that I am wearing wedges! They are highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!

I've never left a review on Zappos before...THESE BOOTS ARE WORTH IT! I live in New York City where it is COLD, and we walk A LOT. These boots look great, keep my feet, ankles, and calves warm. I walk in them all day (yesterday was 8am-9pm) and my feet feel good! The soles are sturdy and I haven't slipped yet this winter. Seriously - worth the money!

Great boot, the wedge heel is surprisingly comfortable. I have received many compliments from strangers. I bought my normal size 8, I have a narrow foot but this fit very well. The laces allow me to wear jeans or leggings and fit the boot to my legs perfectly. It can be a little time consuming to put them on, but it's well worth it. I got the gray, I might need to get the black too?

I bought these boots for my mom for Christmas. She is usually an 8 but bought 7½ since these boots tend to stretch. I am returning them now for an 8 since my mom would prefer the room. The boots are beautiful and chic! Sorel should continue to push the boundaries with their style.

I absolutely love these boots! I looked high and low for stylish winter boots that did not feel like I was wearing a brick and I finally found them. These boots are comfortable and warm and stylish. I received several compliments on them. They have a hidden wedge heel but it does not even feel like you are wearing a heel. I have worn these almost every day since I got them for Christmas. I hope these never get discontinued because I am going to ask for the black or brown pair for Christmas next year. I asked for the gray because I figured they would go with almost anything and they do. Do not hesitate to order these boots, you will fall in love with them.

If you are looking for a pair of winter boots that have style, comfort, and waterproof, this is it. The style is as good as it can look for a winter boots, very cute and not at all a bulky look. My favorite pair of stylish, go to, winter boots. Very, very comfortable. Very well padded, and last all day in them while keeping you warm and looking your best. I have 12" calf and the lace allow me to have a tighter fit as I do not like having gap in my boots. Traction bottom is excellent for walking on 2" sheet of ice in eastern WA during the winter. Expensive but worth the $$$. It is my go to boots for being stylish during the winter and will be useful in many more cold seasons to come. I highly recommend.

This must be one well oiled machine. Now on to my purchase...nothing but FABULOUS!!! I love Sorel for their commitment to style, comfort, as well as function. My feet are terribley ruined by hours of standing, I can no longer wear 4 inch heels to top off an outfit. I'm a professional and mom on the go like most women and I feel extra confident in well made style conscious fashion. The fit so far is true to size with room enough for comfy socks. Leather is high quality with a rustic edge. I will pair these with everything I can think of dresses, jeans, legging! I will enjoy these in the years to come. My instant FAV!

Because I relied on the other reviews, I ordered my usual size which is a size 7. But trust me, these boots run very narrow - and I have narrow feet! After a few exchanges I was able to settle with the size 8. They run narrow through the ball of the foot, although there was plenty of room through the toe for me. I also have athletic calves which makes it hard to wear tall boots unless I get the wide width, but these worked fine for me.

I absolutely love these. So comfortable, no break in necessary. I usually wear size 6.5 or 7 and I went with a 6.5 with these and they fit perfect. I have SOREL Slimpack Riding boots and I'm a 7 in those to compare. Doesn't even feel like you're wearing a heal. Adjustable, great for all sizes of calves. Highly recommend, worth the money!

I waited to review these until I had actually worn them for a while. I do not wear heels ever anymore, but these boots are amazing. I have worn them for two days shopping, in and out of vehicle, store to store and they are as comfortable as a flat boot! Also no issues with stability or balance. I do not know how they did it, but Sorel has amazed me! They are a little roomy in the footbed, so I added an insert and now fit like a glove.

These boots are fantastic! Perfect for cold, wet, windy winters in Chicago. The laces allow for different thicknesses of sock or tights. Super comfy, and any wear and tear just adds to the look!

What more is there to say? These shoes are GORGEOUS, comfortable, and not too high--and this comes from a girl who NEVER wears heels. And the soles are sturdy and grippy. I would wear them in snow with confidence. The ONLY thing that gave me pause when I got mine is that one of the laces was a tad frayed, which didn't bode well for the shoes, I thought. I asked Zappos for replacement laces, but they didn't have any. (To my utter disbelief, they sent me replacement shoes and let me keep the first. NO LIE. I'm still in shock.) Still... Doc Martens shops their shoes with multiple laces. Sorel should do the same, I think.

These are my favorite winter boots ever! They are warm and extremely comfortable - they stayed dry in the snow. The traction on the sole makes these boots easy to walk in on ice. The only downside is that the calf width is slightly large so I have to tighten the laces more than I would like.

I am not sure if those who have reviewed these boots have their shoe size correct but I am a true size 10 and I have purchased another pair of Sorels in a 10 and they fit large on my feet. I was going to get the Cate The Great in a 9½ but others said they were narrow as well as true to size. Well either my feet have shrunk or these run big? They run at least a half size big on me so I am sending them back for a smaller size. Other than the sizing the boots are fierce! I cannot wait to get the replacement tomorrow!

I have been wearing Sorel for about 10 years now and I must say The Cate The Great Wedge is absolutely awesome! You will not regret buying them. I am glad that I did not listen to the reviews that said they run big and purchased my actual size 11. Perfect fit and I have room for comfortable socks! These boots are super comfortable and trendy! I bought them to wear to work with leggings, jeans, dresses and skirts. I was also a little concerned with the height of the wedge because I have back trouble, but I found that it is ever so slight; almost like part of my heel is down inside some of the wedge, so it is not quite so high and like I just said, comfortable out of the box. I have skinny calfs and the laces allowed me to adjust accordingly. If you have big calfs, I agree with one of the other reviews these would be great because you can adjust them comfortably to fit your needs, skinny or big calfs. The best thing about these are that they are practical and functional and waterproof for the snow, rain and nasty weather being we have in the mountains, and the sole is perfect for traction. The leather and craftsmanship feel substantial to provide years of good use. I am not a big review writer, but you will not regret getting these boots. I debated on the brown or black, choosing black was a good choice for me.

These boots are awesome! Look great and are extremely comfortable. I frequently get compliments when wearing these. I had purchased a different pair 2 years ago, they are wearing very well, through rain, ice and snow. Highly recommend!
