This is a good lightweight vest. Great for layering but good on its own with a longsleeve underneath in the fall or spring.

The fit, esp at the bottom, is pretty generous. This isn’t the finest fleece but it’s warm for home wear or layering.

Excellent for wearing around the house on a chilly day. Can't beat the price.

The vest fabric is flexible to allow easy movement and does a great job providing warmth. The only negative I have found is a minor inconvenience and that, with so much exposed fleece surface area on the inside, the inner fabric tends to grab or stick to my shirt such that it pulls my sleeves up or twists my shirt when I put on and take off the vest.

I purchased this as an additional layer of warmth. It fits larger than expected, I usually wear a large on tops and had to buy a medium to get a good fit, it's the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. Feels soft to the touch and the collegiate blue looks great, my wife loves to see me wearing it.

This vest fits perfectly and feels great. However, the teeth came off of the zipper after 1.4 years of use. Am buying 2 for replacements - hopefully the zipper will hold together a little better on these.

Bought this to use as an additional base layer to help keep my core warm. I wear this all the time. It is thin enough to wear under a jacket, but also pretty warm all on its own.

This was for a gift, great and functional.

My husband love the way it fit. He loves that its warm and also a light weight fit. Nice for a not to chilly night out.

True earth tones allow this vest to be used as an accessory with many other colors. Could be a hair fuller. These vests are the perfect layer when it's not quite warm yet.

My husband likes everything about this vest! The color is more a light black/grey color than a true black color.

I ordered this vest and love it. The only thing I was a little surprised about was the collegiate navy wasn't as dark as i expected. I was expecting more of a deep navy blue but in the end I am very happy with my purchase. I also bought a large even though I typically wear XL in jackets, etc. It fit great.

Very nice vest for the price. Washed once and held up perfectly. So far so good! Only complaint is that it fit perfectly through the shoulders and back but a little flaired at the waist. Says classic fit, so that's expected.

The mountain vest is light and comfortable. Looks good in casual clothing or everyday day wear as well. Light but yet still creates warmth for the body core.

This vest replaced my previous Columbia vest, which held serve for almost 15 years. This one, much like the last, doesnt do anything special, but it is a solid performer you can count on. To nitpick, the last one had a waist drawstring that I was accustomed to, and I miss that. Also, although the color is described as black, it's really what I would consider a dark charcoal. But all in all, it's a solid 9/10. You probably need one.

I bought this for my dad and he really loves it! He hardly likes to wear jackets, so a vest was perfect for him since it's not too warm on him. It's also really soft and the quality feels great. Totally recommend this, can be a great Christmas gift.

This is an early evaluation but the product looks good and wears well. It is light weight but quite warm over a sweater.

This is a gift, unless I decide to keep it for myself. I love vests - and my b-inlaw wears them too. Got him the green as I always see him other colors -- this is different.

Picture looks a lot better than the actual product. Would be very skeptical on purchasing other clothing items based on how they look online.

1. I expected a slightly thicker fabric for more warmth. 2. I wear waist/upper-hip length jackets and this hangs below the bottom of the jacket by 1.5-2.0 inches. Yes, it can be pushed up under the jacket to hide it, but that's a hassle. 3. The circumference of the opening around the shoulder is more generous than wanted, making the vest look less "tailored" than it could be. 4. If you are slender enough to have up to a 34" waist with a shirt on this may look a little "baggy" in that area on you. 5. Wanted a black (as so identified), but this is more of a dark gray, in my opinion.
