Material Did not like it all

This is surprisingly warm, even though its not heavy material. Very pleased with this purchase, and will be getting others in different colors.

Its just okay for the price light with out chest pocket or inside pocket

Fits to size. Even after wash, its still the same size. Its both leisure and professional wearing.

This vest is warm and has generous side pockets. It is made of high quality fleece and is well-constructed. I gave it 4 stars based on the fit. I normally wear a XXL, but this vest seems to be a half-size too large. I had tried an XL first, but that was a little snug.

Nice easy wear vest. Use it all the time. Washes and dries well.

the overall quality is good but disappointed that the black color i ordered looks a bit greenish and not completely black

The vest is nice and is good quality I ordered Black and everything says Black on the packaging but the color is more of a Dark Grey not Black. I already have a Grey one!

Some apparel is mostly for utility and some is for style and fashion. The Steens Mountain Fleece Vest is more of the latter than the former. It looks and fits great, but it is too thin to provide much warmth in cold conditions. Its practical function should be seen as a supplement to a warmer outside garment or as an alternative to a windbreaker in moderate temperatures. A good feature are the inside pockets of the vest, something that is absent in similar products.

I like to wear my Steens Mountain vest with open collar (don't like stand-up collars that rub my neck), and the collar is a perfect width for this. It is just the right weight fleece for a Spring or Fall vest, although I like to wear it indoors and out, with clothes or pajamas. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it has a single zipper (i.e., not two-way), and it's a little long on me, so the bottom rubs me the wrong way if I'm not wearing outerwear. I recently purchased this style a third time (zipper sewing came loose after a few years), so I must like it, but I would really like to have a two-way zipper version of this vest!

Great vest but my usual size, of an earlier purchase of this vest several years ago, was too small. Returned and ordered a larger size. Much better. Note this is a very Lightweight fabric, but is great for layering. Washes up really nicely. Highly recommended

The Steens Mountain Fleece Vest was of a lighter weight than I expected, but it still looks nice. I liked the deep zippered pockets. I also like that the Columbia brand name on apparel is never loud and bright because I sometimes purchase items for business, and I like to look professional.

Good fleece and was glad to get a change from the navy, grey colors

It's extremely comfy to wear and flexible too. It's not tight on you. Something to just wear when you are going out to the store

The color I was looking for had the best price but at the other sales price this vest is still a great deal.

Too good , Sizes are little different

It is warm. Quality is good. The fit is great. I normally wear large but medium was a better fit.

This is a sleek good looking vest. True to size. This is the best one they have come out with.

I got this for my boyfriend and he loves it! Easy to dress up or down. The dark blue goes with everything. I love the softness but that the vest is also thin and can be thrown over any shirt.

Seems to be ideal to throw over a long-sleeve shirt when the weather is a bit chilly, and your going to be moving about. Fairly light weight similar to a cross between flannel and fleece. Could really use a vest or inner pocket.
