Actually, I am using my jacket for the purpose of when there is wet and/or cold conditions outside. Or if a jacket is necessary for whatever the weather!

I use it for a rain jacket at work. It sheds water well but it does get hot after awhile.

Not very warm - be sure to pack a sweater if needed. Also, based on other comments, I ordered one size larger than I normally do, and I'm glad I did so

I use this jacket as my transitional late winter to spring. When you need a little something, but not much. The easy of the material to grab an go is great.

The jackets best use is in hard rain. The jacket is warm, possibly too warm. My arms are often sweaty in the jacket. It's not rain seeping in. Walking in say a store will cause me to get warm with the jacket on.

Runs very big! I wear a normal size 4xlt, im 6'8" 325lbs... when i ordered, they didn't have my size but it was a great deal, so i bought a size smaller, thinking it would be tight but doable because it was such a great buy... This jacket, that is a size smaller than i usually buy is Huge... much bigger than my normal size... i mean its huge! Barnum & Bailey would call this thing a tent!

Ad stated it runs small. At 6'3" and 210 lbs I usually wear a large tall so I ordered an XL Tall. It's so big I'm thinking of using it as a 3 man tent

Very thin doesn't look durable enough for the rain

I was expecting some type of second layer in the sleeves. I have an old London Fog jacket with dual layer nylon and polyester that keeps my arms from getting cold from the rain. It will make an ok travel jacket but I will get something else for regular use.

Needs a wider draw string at the bottom of jacket because the round draw string makes the jacket roll up in back when getting out and in of a vechile.

Looks nice & fits nice, keeps moisture out but is hot and keeps sweat in. Wear it in rainy or windy weather in the 30's or lower 40's

Feels really cheap and thin. Any movement and you hear the coat. Annoying to walk around in

Horrible ZIPPER design. Always gets stuck on inside flap after engaging and moving up one inch. Required two hands to zip up. My wife needs to grease all zippers with soap. Would not purchase again

You have to be very careful about the rain clothes, because you don't specify that the logo of Columbia isn't waterproof.
