This coat ran way too small, and now the size up is not available. I never would have been able to wear more than a thin t shirt and be comfortable. Sleeves were also short, and I actually have pretty short arms. Zipper stuck quite a bit also. Go a size up, trust me.

I will be returning for something else.

I bought this jacket as a gift in taupe, which is not a typical taupe, but more of a moss/army green. I bought it in XXL thinking it would provide a roomier fit for my daughter who normally wears a comfortable XL in jackets. It's a lovely looking jacket and kept my daughter's arms and back warm on a cold morning. But the jacket is way too small to be an XXL. It fit more like an L on her. Seems to not be made for someone with a larger chest as the jacket was not large enough to come close to closing. XXL should normally fit a size 18/20 frame, but I think this company made it for a 14/16 frame. We'll try an XXXL, but, what a disappointment. Seems the company doesn't really want to fit a larger frame/bust, but gives the illusion it's inclusive of all female body types. (PS, my daughter also surprised me with a jacket and ordered a size up, but it fit like it was my normal size. C'mon, North Face, do better and size smarter.)

I'm in between sizes. XL-XXL. This coat fits like a tight XL. Tight in the shoulders, across back & arms. Sleeves seemed short. Unable to zipper. I'm 5'4. Otherwise it's a really nice coat.

The jacket has stitching at the waist tat cinches it in and therefore puts focus on bust.

Bought as a gift for my grand daughter. She usually wears a small, was way too small. Then when I went to reorder a larger size OUT OF STOCK! Would warn customers it runs small.

Warm jacket and the color was beautiful but I had to return it because the fur wasn't even attached to the hood so every time I put on the hood, the fur flopped forward!

As soon as I took this coat out of the bag I could tell it wasn't good quality. It feels so cheap as if it were a $30 coat. Im definitely disappointed in the quality fir the price I spent on it. The zipper also does not slide easily. This jacket should be priced around 100 at the most and that is being nice. Style is cute but not sure it will keep me warm or last long.

Got this jacket in red and loved it but almost immediately it started leaking feathers and now, after 2 years it's useless. It's a beautiful jacket to begin with and for the first year I was very happy but at this price I expect more.

While the jacket itself is warm and lightweight, the online pictures are misleading. I ordered the black and in person the jacket had an ugly print inside that is not shown on the website. There is also gold on the outside that is not shown online. The pictures online show the black jacket with a plain black interior and white lettering.

Bought the jacket from the Northface store in my area and from the very start feathers came out through the lining. My clothes are always covered in them!

This coat was great until it needed to be washed. I machine washed it on delicate like it said and all of the filling balled up inside.

Been looking for a quality down jacket for an upcoming trip to Japan, where we'll be doing lots of walking in ~32F weather. I'm disappointed in the fit: at 5'3'' 100lbs & 32A, I have a boyish frame and am pretty petite; yet the XS is still tight around the chest and cut very narrow on the shoulders. It's not uncomfortably tight, but the narrow cut on the shoulders (coupled with too-long/too-loose sleeves) results in an unflattering look -- I also got it in TNF grey so felt like a chimp in it w/ long, dangling arms (no joke). I also wish that the faux fur lined the entire hood instead of ending about 2 inches out. The cinched waist also sits a little high; when I sit w/ the jacket zipped, the bottom portion bulges out. The jacket is lightweight though and quite warm. I just think it would work best on someone with a slightly bigger frame so that it's hugging your curves rather than dictating your shape.

Not sure how I feel about this....I bought this at another store in raspberry pink color. First time wearing it I wore it two hours, just shopping in the city nothing great. It accidentally fell on the floor of a restaurant, spent 2min tops on the floor and of course grease and gunk everywhere. Granted it was my fault but something so normal causes so much damage? For the price I think it should be a little more durable to the elements. I am washing it for the 3rd time now, fingers crossed it came clean. I just don't think it's worth the price, I think my old navy jacket would have held up to what happened way better. I wouldn't spend that kind of money again and wish I never bought it, I can't imagine what it wil look like once winters over.

I was so excited when this coat arrived in the mail. I put it on and was immediately in love. It looked so great! The heather gray matched the picture on the website. That's always a concern of mine. However, I wore the coat in 15 degree weather last night and did not feel the coat was warm enough. I had a thick sweater underneath the coat as well as a scarf. It's warm enough in the sun, and maybe in about 30 degree weather, but you'll need to layer up a lot more for any temperature lower than that. I was really hoping for more warmth, but my last coat from Marmot was way warmer. But definitely not as cute as this one. :) One more note, my neck is a little bit shorter than average, and my makeup tends to rub off on the collar. It's difficult to clean out.

Was so excited to receive this coat for Christmas.We decided to wash it for the first time in cold water and washing machine came out with black circles all over it.. hung to dry look worse as it dried think of was defective I guess..now I'm without a coat because I'm in the process of moving.extra coats are in storage so not happy..

the size of 2x runs very small. i would have kept it but did not run true the size. should have made 3x and 4x if going to run small.

Adorable jacket I love the waist that goes in very cute but...it's a lot lighter than I expected for the price and after months of owning it I decided to wash it for the first time... followed the instructions perfectly and it is destroyed! The feathers inside clumped together and the jacket is ruined so disappointed they need to change the care tag and let us know how to avoid this issue

This is a very pretty coat, but I thought it would be warmer...

I bought a size medium to replace a size small in a different brand puffer jacket. As soon as I opened the package I knew it was going to be too small. I measured this size medium against the current size small I have in a different brant. It was almost identical in width. So disappointing and now the size large is not available. It is being returned. I also received a discount because I signed up for the VIP for a first time order so now if I reorder, it will be at full price!

I ordered grey coat its not the one in picture,if one of rain or any liquid comes in contact with coat it won't come off don't buy the light color.
