Can't wait to wear it.

I had to purchase a larger size so the sleeve length would be long enough. The sleeves are still too short and Dolly Parton could fill out the chest. The hand pocket zippers suck and the CF zipper gets caught regardless of the ribbon backer on the zipper flap. I wish the hood was removable and the fur trim needs an attachment to keep it back. I receive compliments on the color.

I bought this coat because I needed a warmer winter coat. It's definitely warm and protected me from the wind. I've only used it in 30-40 degree weather, so I can't speak for anything beyond that. I have noticed bits of down escaping from inside the coat, but not so much that it has bothered me or given me any indication that it wasn't a well made item. My biggest issue is the hood. Without the fur liner, it's too short to offer much protection in rain. With the fur, it's too long and flops in front of my face, plus the fur is definitely not in any way water resistant. Not sure if TNF assumed nobody would actually wear this in the rain despite the rest of the coat being water repellent. I am 5'2" 130lbs and bought the small. I'd say it's snug, not tight, but I haven't worn anything too bulky underneath (haven't needed to since the coat keeps me plenty warm).

Fit finder recommended an XL, but I had to return it for a XXL because it was too tight across the chest. The XXL is loose elsewhere, but fits where I need it. I have other NF jackets in both L and XL, so I was surprised that I needed a XXL.

I own 5 North Face jacket and I have been consistent in sizing. I am always a Large no matter the style of jacket. I ordered a Large in this jacket and I thought it felt a little snug. I went up to the XL which then was too big for me. I ended up just returning the jacket and bought a different brand from the mall. I love the light fill of the jacket, the cinching and overall style but the sizing was just off for me.

Its a really nice jacket and doesn't make you look like a marshmallow. However, one thing is that the quality doesn't seem to be great for the price. The feathers are constantly shedding/poking out from the jacket even with light wear.

The quality isn't what I expect from North Face. Down seeping out of the seams before even worn, the fabric seems thin and cheap too. For some reason the coat seems to ride up when put on even though it technically fits very well. It's almost as though it is too slippery.

Does not fit well in the waist. Looks baggy. Smaller size too tight.

It's a warm and good looking jacket BUT... I would use caution when wearing it in heavy rain you will be wet from the inside and out. I like that word DURABLE by what standard I wonder. I would have looked for the word waterproof not DWR (durable water repellent)

The look is great fit is perfect sleeve length great however for the amount of money I paid it is not warm like I had expected it to be.

I ordered a size bigger for my daughter so she could have it for two winters the jacket was still too short The sleeves were just right almost to short maybe I'll try it in a bigger size but I'm afraid it may be too big

I tired this jacket on in the store. I liked a lot of things about it, but it was so short it would have been useless to really keep me warm. Too bad.

Purchased for my 11 year old daughter. Looking at the sizing chart it seemed to be perfect. When it arrived it was way to small. We had to go up to an adult XS. Other wise a nice jacket.

My 13 yr old daughter loves the look of the jacket but it is very thin and I'm not truly convinced it's warm enough for 20 degree weather in NY. Was planning on returning it but she really wanted to keep it. Don't believe it's worth the price

I like this coat however I wish it was a little longer

I was excited to get this jacket and when I did it just wasn't as warm as I thought it would be and the material seems kind of cheap. it's not a bad jacket I just don't think it's worth the price.

I really like it and the fit is great but it's starting to shed feathers already. Not sure if it's just the type of coat but I may contact Zappos and ask about this.

The zippers stick and I had to exchange it for a new one after the zipper was not repairable. Other than nice, I love the jacket.

Feels like a worn out pillow. Not worth the money.

I don't like writing bad reviews, but the truth is I was pretty disappointed when I received this jacket. The quality overall feels, plain and simple, cheap; of course this is a personal opinion according to my standards for how much I paid for this jacket, it didn't meet my expectations. Also, hand pockets are very tiny (and my hands are kid's size), and pocket zippers sometimes work sometimes don't, these look especially cheap. The good thing is that it looks good, and I've gotten compliments wearing it. The coldest temperature I used this jacket was around 15 F and it was warm, although hands with gloves definitely don't fit in this jacket, I can see that being a problem when temperatures start getting lower. I got an XS and it fits great, I have other XS jackets and they are all kind of big so it could be that it runs a bit small, I'm tiny.

Nice coat just runs small real cute

It's a nice coat. It doesn't feel like it would be substantial enough for northern Wisconsin weather like my Columbia coat I am replacing. I have a veeeerrrry hard time getting sleeves long enough - if you relate to this, you'll know - so I don't recommend it for tall women. In my pic, the sleeves look long enough but as soon as I raise my arm they are half way to my elbow. Also, the shoulders were quite tight in the coat that the size estimator suggested. For reference, I am 5'11" and I got a size medium. It sucks that this coat didn't work out because I really want an olive coat.
