Runs small. Otherwise beautiful coat

I love this jacket. It is super warm and perfect for MN winters. It's definitely windproof and dries quickly. I love the pink color, but I wouldn't buy another light color just because it does stain easily.

Love the look of this jacket but would much prefer snap to velcro closures which get stuck on everything. Despite it fitting well and being warm, I returned it due to the velcro. If you like velcro, go for it. it is a slim fit

I mostly love this coat! I only give it four stars because with the fake fur hood attachment, the weight brings it down almost over my eyes.

I love this jacket - it's cute and warm. I got this in the vintage white. However, I don't wear it when it's rainy or snowy out because I'm too afraid to get it dirty. The edges of the sleeves get kind of dirty easily.

I bought this because I needed a new winter coat. I am a simple person, 5'3" & 135 pounds, I purchased a medium and it fits perfectly with or without an extra jacket or Hoodie. (I like my coats fit but lose enough for more layers). The only reason I put 4 stars is because the zipper has to be the deal breaker. It is plastic & offers a double zipper (can zip up/open from the bottom). This being said, each time I attempt to zip up my coat, the zipper jams or becomes difficult to "line up". I don't like spending a lot of money on jackets that won't last me a few years, so I hope this zipper lasts. Lastly the shipping was fast and arrived sooner than expected. Overall unless a few feathers bother u from a down coat, this jacket may be for you. I get compliments every day and it truly is a great coat. (& for those wondering I purchased the color black)

Love this coat but it does run small IMO, I usually wear L/XL in clothing so I ordered an XL in this coat so I would have room for layers, I'm able to zip this with scrubs on but not much more. I'm bottom heavy so it's weird to me for this not to fit.

Used this for several hiking ventures in below 20 weather; I wish the sleeves had an underlining thumbhole "sleeve" but overall excellent coat!

Got a large. It fit nicely with a lightweight sweater or turtleneck. But a little snug if I had on a bulky sweater, would probably go up a size.

Bought this for my 14 year old daughter. She's 5'8" and wears a size 6, tall and athletic build. I purchased this in a medium and large and went with the large. This coat fits over a hoodie but doesn't leave much room to spare. The sleeves are just long enough. Now that she's been wearing it all winter I honestly wish I'd gone with the XL. With a big fleece or sweatshirt (basic winter attire in Vermont) the coat zips but an XL would've been more forgiving. It's nice that the fur is removable as she currently prefers the coat without the fur

Great jacket; however, I will say it is quite puffy in me and thus making it a bit hard to move arms. That being said, it keeps me warm in the winter.

Only issue is sometimes the zipper gives me trouble. Fits well and is warm and comfortable. Would be nice to have an additional chest or wrist pocket.

I love everything about this coat! The only issue I have is I've noticed some of the fluff coming out through the seams. It's not enough to cause worry but I did expect better with how much the coat cost. It is true to size, so if you want more wriggling room for your coat, I would go up a size. I wanted a snug fit just for the form.

I really love the coat. I get compliments on it all the time. The only really disappointing thing is that where the Velcro is placed it sometimes snags the logo on the front and stitching is picked there pretty bad now.

My daughter wears a small in everything, so I ordered a small. It is really tight across the chest and the underarms as well as the hips or bottom of the jacket. I would order a size up unless your body shape it very slender. The Jacket is really great, so hoping we can exchange for a medium!

Love the jacket but wish it were more true to size.

Northface, I am petite (5ft) and I've been waiting a couple of years for something similar to the Yume parka down jacket. This previous jacket was a good length for petites but it was also long enough (centered back 30-32) to cover. In addition, it had a nice covered zipper and pocket without the flashy logo (darker logo). Currently, the Gotham (with the fur hood) has these things but it is not long enough and has a flashy logo. I hope that there can be a jacket for petites that are just nice as the metropolis for length.

I normally wear mediums however this coat is tight & the arms are short. I washed it inside out prior to wearing & metal zipper pull snapped in half.

My first impression when I put it on was “This is so warm!” Even the pockets are warm! I ordered a medium because I thought I was a small. The medium looks like a small, my family made the same comment when I showed them the jacket. I am 5’3 130 lbs. I should have went with a L but it’s okay! Overall a really nice and warm jacket, it just runs a little small.

Generally comfortable, as mentioned, sleeve are a little short when extending arms. Soft feel of material. Pockets are very warm. Zipper is plastic; I hope it lasts.
