This jacket is great. It's light but is still so warm and perfect for a chicago winter. It's also very stylish. I'm 5'6" and 118 lbs with a pretty petite frame. I got a size small and with sweaters underneath it fits perfectly, but I could have gone one size smaller. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

The jacket is not heavy and my daughter said it feels very warm that all she might need is a T shirt to go under. No need to bulk up on clothes

I bought this for a vacation to Yellowstone. It's very versatile and functional. I can wear it to the store without feeling too bundled up and I can wear it in cold weather and keep warm. I usually wear a medium but I saw previous reviews say it runs small so I ordered a large and it fits well.

This is my first Northface jacket and I'm officially hooked! It's so light weight yet so warm. The fit is perfect and the design perfectly fits my need. The hood is going to keep me so warm this coming winter, I can not wait!

This jacket is everything I expected from North Face. It's super light weight and moves with your body while it does the job of keeping you warm!

I love, love both of my purchases. I was very hesitant at first because of the cost but once I received them and tried them on I was very happy.

The jacket is nice and warm. The buyer does need to realize there are hooks (3) of them on the bottom. They can be uncomfortable when wearing this jacket.

Purchased this to have in addition to a longer down coat for this frigid winter weather. I had tried other coats on but this one was by far my favorite. Note*it does run small in comparison to other TNF coats that I have. But it is super warm and light weight. I highly recommend it!

I finally caved and decided after seeing so many people wearing various different styles of North Face jackets that I would buy one. I was in the market for a new Winter coat and thought, why not? I purchased mine through the website and the sizing chart was spot on and the choice of styles and colors was more then I imagined. I finally decided on the coat for me and I LOVE it, it got really cold and this coat keeps me so warn and toasty without being bulky. I loved mine so much I ordered a second one in a different style for myself and purchased a coat for each of my two children.

I bought this jacket for my 12 year old daughter in Azalea Pink in size XL and it is perfect! Super warm and light! The color is outstanding as well! I would definitely recommend this this jacket!

This is a very nice jacket and warm. I ordered a med and its not too big but big enough to wear a bulky sweater without being tight.

This coat is a perfect upgrade to my older north face but I want something longer. If you want a moderate length this is perfect.

I have the Denali, but wanted something to withstand harsher wind - with a hood. This is definitely the right choice. It is comfortable, & I love the goose down.

Soo i recently purchased this jacket for my NYC trip and im soo happy i did.. Kept me warm even with the strong wind chill!! My friends loved the look and style .. They wanted to borrow it!! Soo its definitely worth getting.. You can wear it to dress up or down either way you will be warm!!

With the temperature dropping this winter I couldn't of bought anything better. I walk a dog early morning and late night and I feel nothing through this jacket Northface you rock in quality I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to see what I buy next. I'm sure the quality will be the same.

Most favorite coat I've had! I bought a Miami Orange coat last year without a hood and this year I had two must haves on my list for my new coat: Must be black so it will go with everything and will be easy to keep clean and must have a hood for those times you find yourself not having or wanting an umbrella when you need one. This coat is super warm and I like the side zipper pockets and the hidden inside zipper pocket. The hood does run large but when I find myself needing the hood, I always welcome the extra shelter allowed from the wind. The only negative is that the large hood can make it hard to see. I have worn this coat everyday since I got it for Christmas and I have tons of coats to choose from. Definitely recommend!

Of course tring to get something for my wife for Christmas in never easy. She wanted a North Face jacket but was down in the dumps because she has put on a few pounds and her size was out of stock and not available anywhere. The North Face website was great for telling me that if it was restocked they would contact me. I didnt hold much faith as it was now a week before Christmas. To my shock I received an email the Friday before and what made things even better was the fact that they guarenteed Free delivery by the 23rd. So not only was my wife happy that she got the jacket she wanted, I was made out to be the best husband for listening once, and North Face has customers for life with a young growing family due to the amazing customer support I received.

I recommend this Jacket, the size will last longer than expected. I purchased Jacket for my 12 yr old daughter size XL. I tried coat on and it fit I wear size 6 woman clothes. Coat will last several years.
