This is just an amazing all around jacket, for my life style. I can dress it up with jeans and boots and wear it out to dinner, it's cute and form fitting, but can also wear it for a nice brisk jog on a cold day, and it keeps me super warm, or it's just perfect for when I ride my horses in the winter, to help keep my neck, ears and head & upper body warm. I just love, love, love this coat, for it's versatility, so had to buy it multiple colors (black and forest green). The forest green is really a lovely color, it's a dark forest green, so it blends well with all fall and winter colored clothing. My only complaint would be it would be nice to have either more pockets or bigger side hand pockets. I have not washed either jacket yet, so I don't know how they will wash.

The only thing that would make this jacket even better, would be a soft, cozy inner lining.

I have bought north face jackets in the past. And this one is the best one I have gotten for my gf so far. She loves all her north face jackets and winter accessories.

This coat seems to know my needs on a day to day basis. I'm the person who is cold year around but doesn't like to wear more than two layers! Winter can do what it darn well pleases the first few weeks of December in ND, and with this coat I haven't minded a bit. Not too hot while in the car with defrosters on nuclear, and wind can't sneak in as I'm blown across parking lots. As for the cold (please note I believe it was last year my town had a day or two recorded colder than the North Pole's temp of the day)....I can't wait.....no worries! An added plus is I think I look pretty good in it too! Who knew?!

Very happy with the purchase. Went back and bought a northface for my husbands Christmas gift. We have several in our home and keep coming back for more. Love Northface. Can't go wrong.

Was outside for a football game in Minnesota. Stayed warm through tailgating and the entire game. The jacket is fitted just enough to be flattering while leaving room for extra layers.

I bought this coat for my 4 year old daughter think it would be a standard winter for Michigan. However we have been expericing the El Nio winter and the temperature has been warmer than normal, I took it back to the store and they were able to get me a size 6 shipped to my home. I purchased my coat which is a adult version of her coat. I LOVE my coat and my daughter hers. This coat also comes in pink but we opted for black because it will get dirty as my daughter is a child. My son and daughter love their Northface. I love these costs because they are lightweight, stylish, warm and gives the peace of mind that my children are protected form the elements.

This coat is warm and looks good on. I like that its not extremely puffy, not a look I like personally. The fur around the hood was a little awkward to me. Fortunately it zips off and the coat looks great without it. I'm 5'3", 120 lbs and a small fits perfectly.

I love this coat! It's very form fitting, so it makes every outfit seem put together. You can wear it with lounge, weekend, workout, or business clothes - it works for everything! It hits at just the right place on the hips too. The fur on the hood is the best part. I bought this coat because I was tired of layering lighter North Faces under my shell or under my Denali. This one takes care of all of it - it's extremely warm! It's the only coat you will need! I do wish the zipper would zip up from the bottom, so that when you sit down you don't become a giant bubble. I have to unzip when I'm driving, etc. I would almost suggest sizing up if you plan to wear anything other than a sweater underneath, but I bought my regular North Face size.

Perfect jacket for Michigan weather.

I use this jacket for day to day work commute, happy hour with colleagues, road trips and the best part is I can still wear it for evening night outs as it gives you the perfect shape around your waist to go with any winter attire. In love with this one!

This jacket is warm, but not bulky. I got the medium and I love the way it fits. Can't go wrong with a North Face Jacket . I am never disappointed with their quality.

I love this coat. I am s college student in a town where it's 20 degrees below freezing everyday. I was freezing until I got this amazing coat.

My teen daughter's love their new Gotham jacket!!! I purchased one for my mother-in-law too for Christmas!! The jacket runs a little small so I recommend you buy one size up. My girls are tall (5'8" & 5'7") and the small jacket sleeves were a little short. I sent them back and exchanged the small jackets for a medium. They couldn't wait for the medium jackets to come in the mail!! They now wear their new jackets everyday!!

Love this jacket for these cold northern New Hampshire winters! It is lightweight but very warm, and so pretty (I've already received several compliments on it)! And the oversized hood is great for those cold windy days.
