My old EMS down jacket finally kicked the bucket this month after 10 years of hard New England winters, so I felt it was time to invest in another high-quality down jacket. Depending on the brand, I range in size from medium to large so I was somewhat disheartened to learn that the size guide recommended an XL. For reference, I currently weigh 180 lbs, am 5'5" tall, and I wear a 40D bra. I am curvy in the traditional sense with a defined waist. I decided to go with the recommendation and bought the XL in blue. The color is beautiful and the jacket fits almost perfectly - my top half is wonderful: I don't feel constricted across my chest and I can wear a hoodie underneath. The waist and bottom portion is loose but it doesn't look bad and I'm not cold. I like the fact that I look feminine and not like a marshmallow. I've worn the jacket in -7 F wind chill and it kept me toasty. The hood with the faux fur lining has been great as well. I didn't realize how much wind is deflected from my face by the fur when the hood is up. Overall, I would I recommend this jacket. Will it last as long as my old EMS jacket? Possibly. Time will tell.

All around great winter coat

I love this coat this is my first coat from northface . I love the color and the material feels great. It is light byt it is so warm i dont need a sweater. I love the pockets. It was a great purchase. The size fits well and it gives a little room.

Great Coat

Love this coat! Received just in time for a blizzard with 65 mile an hour winds in Northern Alaska. Has kept me warm. Fits perfectly!
