The parka was fine but I ordered black and they sent a tan parka. Customer service at Zappos has gone downhill fast. If black isn’t in stock, cancel the order. Instead I had to deal with a return for something I never wanted.

Zipper broke the very first day my daughter had it. Can't find anyplace to fix it

I love the look of this jacket and want to buy it however I definitely need a two-way zipper. Can someone please tell me if there is a two-way zipper? Some of the reviews say it does, but in the features - it only shows Vislon Center Zip and says nothing about a 2-way zipper. Thank you!

Bought this the end of November 23, started wearing it in Mid December it's the end of January and the teeth to the zippers been falling off one by one, now the zipper doesn't stay on the track scared to even wear it anymore. I got the coat bigger than what I normally wear so it doesn't fit tight while moving around. North Face has just definitely gotten cheap on the quality. Never again

Horrible and weird fit. too small and too big at the same time. Feels like it just hangs on you. Poor quality not warm even in 48F. You're basically paying for the brand. Way better coats

Where do I even begin on how horrible this coat is?? Ok I'll start with the style. It has done. It's boxy and trunky with a weird seam that digs into the neck. I wore this in 48F and FROZE! Returned

I work outdoors and need gear that can hold up to that. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. First the jacket is not waterproof as I am wet today and still have 2 hours of outside time in the rain, sleet, and snow. The jacket is not nearly as warm as I thought it would be and the hood does not fit at all and there are not adjustments. We are a family of 6 and spent over $1600.00 for gear that is subpar at best.

I bought this coat 2 years ago and hardly wear it. The zipper on this coat is so cheap. It splits up from the bottom as soon as its zipped up. The zipper thst holds fur on is missing a tooth so its hard to get off and on to wash it. Most disappointing ... i wanted this coat for a long time. Paid $500+ for it and barely wear it because it doesn't stay closed.

Since the beginning, every time I wear the jacket, feathers seem to escape, resulting in an inconvenience where my sweaters and T-shirts are covered with feathers. This not only diminishes the overall quality of the jacket but also creates a constant need for cleaning and maintenance. Contacted customer service and got reply of "it's normal" and "you are not eligible to get a warranty". Where is the life time warranty then? And it's not warm. I wear it when it's minus 5 to 10, and not feeling warm at all.

Fit was very boxy and although it was warm the gray color was very unattractive and the fit did nothing for my curvy figure bc it was looking so boxy. Returned right away.

Really wanted to like this, but had to return. Must have been designed for a Neanderthal sleeves are WAAAY TOO long.

Wore it for the first time yesterday. Temp 25; strong, cold NW wind. Nearly froze in this jacket as the cold wind went right through it. Not worth the price. Returning it.

Way too long for women under 5'4, I am 5'3 and its about 3-4 inches too long in the legs and 2-3 inches too long in the arms where I just look like a child in the coat.... wish they made petite sizes in this style

I was very disappointed and surprised at the poor quality of this parka. I have always been a Northface fan, but this parka arrived looking faded, some gawdy purple dye on part of the trim, the waist was not adjustable even though the description says it is, it was unflattering and not at all what I expected from this company. If it didn't have a Northface logo on the front, I would never have guessed it was sold by this company. Returned this coat immediately and won't be buying anything online from NF again. Quality control had gone downhill!

Ordered online, received a worn coat that smelled of body odor in the armpits and fur collar smelled of heavy perfume. I returned in the mail the day after I got it, no exchange permitted. I am still waiting for my refund nearly 3 weeks later.

The jacket quality is really nice but there are a lot of feathers that come out. I didn't expect to see so much since the jacket is quite pricey. Also the top zipper part is so uncomfortable around the neck area. It's so stiff and hurts.

Not only did I not like the coat and retuned it, I've been waiting 5 weeks not for a refund and have yet to receive it and keep getting the runaround from customer service. When I went to pick up the coat, it was already dirty.. asked to switch it for a different one which they made Me go switch the coat (despite it being an in-store pick up and they gave me a dirty coat). The sizing is also off, the small was too tight (for sweaters underneath) and the medium was to loose and looked funny. The coat collects every single piece of dust. The hoodie isn't practical.

I choose the Women's Arctic parka based on rating for warmth, wind and water resistance. I was surprised to find I was cold at 30 degree temperatures. Comfort requires heavy down coat beneath.

The down feathers are constantly coming out and sticking to all of my clothes. Little fluffy pieces all the way to full feathers are coming through the lining. Cared for as directed, still happening.

Beautiful coat and would have loved to kept it, but Morth Fave needs petite sizes. Way too big!

The elastic band on the back is so unevenly sewn. The left side barely has any gathering while the right is pinched together. Makes the whole back of the coat look terrible and pulls to the right.

Velcro felt cheap for that kind of money being spent.

Purchased this online after looking at several parkas from different brands. DO NOT BUY this parka if you live in Canada. All the reviews on this site that give 5 stars seem to be from the USA...now how cold does it get in Florida or even New York or Michigan? I wore this outside today in -12 Celsius weather - considered a fairly "balmy" day for January in Winnipeg. There was no windchill or precipitation either! I froze outside while at a dog park. My chest was freezing. My arms were freezing. My 10-year old North puffer jacket is warmer than this parka. The hood is way too big and with the fake fur it hangs down my face and sides and I can barely see. Way too much fake fur. The neck is way too high and stiff. I am 5'7 and I've never experienced that high of a neck in any parka. The parka itself was a good fit for me around the waist. It didn't look that bad on me either, I like the style. I just need more WARMTH!! I guess I will have to spend $1000+ on a winter parka now - returning this one.

I was really excited to get this jacket as My husband has TNF winter jacket and his jacket is really warm and comfy to wear. Unfortunately not this jacket! I was wearing it outside at -2 degrees Celsius and I was cold. I was expecting more from this jacket especially after reading all the great reviews, very disappointed. This will be my first and last TNF jacket.
