Poor quality, you will surprised when you get the item, too much difference compare with the nice product pictures, very loose . Difficult to get the refund , I purchased on line, returned 3 weeks ago, still not get my refund yet.

Purchased this as a gift for my daughter. Disappointed that the parka arrived with an unfinished interior pocket. We don't have time to return and get a new one for a trip to east coast. Bought it online.

Sizing on this was weird. I am 5'4", 130lbs and got a Medium (the size of my previous NorthFace jacket that fits great) and the fit was boxy and the cuffs were way too big. The hood "fur" lining looks cheap and was mis-shaped, even after I took it out of the package and tried to fluff it up.

So disappointed, I had to return this North Face Women's Arctic Parka. We had bought one many years ago for my daughter, and had been so happy with that one, that when I needed a good, waterproof, warm parka, I automatically ordered this one, assuming the quality would be exactly the same as my daughter's. I was wrong.
The current version of the North Face Arctic Parka is made with what seems to be cheaper materials. The exterior of the parka feels like a cotton twill -like fabric, which would collect lint. My daughter's North Face Arctic Parka, ordered years ago, has an exterior fabric that is smooth and does no collect lint.
The double zipper seemed like a cheaper zipper from my daughter's parka. And even with my daughter's parka, this design is incredibly narrow in the shoulders; my daughter is a size XS in all her clothes, but with the North Face Arctic Parka, we had to order a Medium for her - and that was years ago.
I had to order a size Large in this parka (I am a size 6 - 8). I did not mind having to order two sizes up, but, the parka's exterior fabric and the cheap construction were problems for me. Also, this parka does not have enough pockets - they eliminated the two top pockets from the previous design.
Fortunately, I found a parka for me which I'm really really happy with - the Columbia Women's Juniper Ridge Omni-Heat Infinity Down Parka. It has everything I was looking for - below the knee length, extremely warm, waterproof, smooth exterior fabric that will not collect lint, plenty of good sized pockets - two large hip pockets with zip closure and flaps; two chest pockets that are hidden and zip close; a hidden inside pocket. Adjustable waist tabs, sturdy two way zipper that has a protective flap that snaps closed. I've worn the Columbia parka on hikes in 15 F degree weather and was toasty warm.

I LOVE the style of the jacket and it seems super warm! I was really looking forward to having this jacket. I'm super sad that the jacket runs really small. I got a size bigger so I could wear a sweatshirt under and I can't even zip it up.

This was a gift. It is warm, but incredibly bulky. I look like a giant sack of potatoes. The material clings to other fabrics wicked. If I wear a scarf with it or anything it causes shedding from the scarf and EVERYTHING sticks to the coat.

Boxy shape - Bulky; it's not flattering. for a women w/ 36DD braz size. I purple and the color is beautiful! I got large but I think I could pass with a Medium. - I'm not going to exchange. Not warm - it's so light feel / "breathable". URGH NORTH FACE - Bring back the old style/material !! This was not it.

The small was too small even though that's my usual size. I also didn't like all the Velcro, it really got in the way.

The coat used to be made with buttons not velcro. The velcro on this coat sticks to everything and ruined my very expensive scarf.

I have no complaints in terms of this coat keeping you warm in the winters (NY winters). BUT THIS COAT ATTRACTS SO MUCH LINT! OMG!
You use a lint remover and 5 mins later you're back to wear you started cuz it will have attracted more lint from god knows where. I should have listened to the reviewers that said this very same thing. But now im paying the price for it. I have desperately been looking at static sprays, lint removers, etc to keep the lint off. ALSO, THE STANDARD LINT REMOVER (sticker rolle) isnt strong enough for this because the lint doesnt even come off the coat (my guess is that the material is weird so the lint wont easily come off).

I went according to the size chart and the silhouette shown in the photos to help me make my purchase. It looks as if it is made for pear shaped women; however, the fit was awkward. It was tight in the hips and so loose on the arms and chest. I'll be returning.

My Calvin Klein coat is warmer. I can feel the wind chill. Not warm as it claims to be. Just like the waterproof feature. So disappointed since I was eager to get this coat.

I got this for Christmas and wanted to love it. I'm pear-shaped and the medium bunched up strangely in the back above my waist. The sleeves were also a bit long. I tried a small but couldn't even zip it over my hips. The fabric also attracted an insane amount of lint and dog hair.

2 stars for warmth that is good to about 27F.
The other 3 stars: lint magnet, very very shallow hood does not cover front 1/4-1/3 of scalp & no overhang for face, stiff paper/cardboard-like fabric that is harsh around the neck & face should you need to zip it all the way up due to frigid weather .. so you MUST put a scarf around your neck and cheeks to prevent excoriation.

The jacket stays very warm. That's the only good thing about it. It looks like a low quality material because everything sticks to it and you can see it because the jacket is black.

The material of this jacket and the black color is awful - everything sticks to it and even a lint roller doesn't work to completely clean it. When I tried to exchange it for a different color they wouldn't let me. Awful customer service. I'll never buy anything from NF again.

Got this in the mail and was really disappointed in the outer fabric. Felt cheap compared to what I thought was a similar coat I was replacing from 10 years ago. Collected lint and hair, thought the Velcro on the front zipper was a bad idea and would collect fuzz from a scarf too easily. Looks to be really warm though. Exchanged in store for a different style that felt much better!

Come on! The fabric is NOT good! Just received it in mail and it looks worn/dirty. Tiny specks of lint EVERYWHERE. Doesn't even come off easily with a roller. Going to return. So sad.

This is my second jacket in this style. Covers everything, nice and warm. But there's Velcro. So much Velcro. It catches everything. My gloves, scarf, sweater. When your hands are cold, it cuts through your skin. I do not like this jacket because of that. I would not recommend this jacket to anyone. BECAUSE OF THE VELCRO. My other jacket had snaps. Go back to those.
The zipper is also temperamental. Imagine putting on your coat and struggling with the zipper for 5 min while sweating and and scratching your hands on the barbed wire patches they stuck all over this thing.

I bought this coat b/c it looked great, was supposedly warm, windproof & waterproof. I was so excited to receive it, put it on & run outside (it was cold & windy but not brutally so). Imagine my disappointment when my arms and back started to get cold after 15 minutes outside. Once inside I inspected the back area (below the neck & between the shoulder blades) of the coat and found that the stuffing was thin compared to other areas of the coat. So now I have to wear a hoodie or fleece jacket underneath to keep me warm, not what I expected for the price. I haven't worn it outside in the rain so I don't know if it is waterproof. I truly hope so.

I was super excited to get this coat. When I put it on I could tell it would be super warm, however the fit was really bad. It felt extremely bulky and wide and the sleeves were super long. I'm 5'2", 150ish lbs and ordered a large. If they made petite sizes I think it might have worked, but it just looked odd and unflattering and for the price I couldn't justify a warm coat that I didn't love the look of. I think it could be a nice coat depending on your body type, but didn't work for me.

I bought this coat thinking I could just remove the fur hood lining as I don't like it and I live in a very wet climate (west coast) so it would always be wet. Once I removed it I realized that the hood is so short now that it doesn't even cover my forehead. I am so disappointed with this. Do you sell the removable zipper piece without the fur?

Ordered because I need a new winter coat. Way too small. Arm holes and chest. And it was my correct size. Returned.
