I tried it on and it made me look twice as large as I really am. Very bulky.

Love the off white color and the fit. The hood is too big and not as warm as I thought it would be

Love the bright red color. I bought a similar one last year which I love but I've gained some weight during the pandemic so now I needed a new coat in the next size up. This one is light weight but the shoulder structure feels very bulky and pointy as if I have very broad shoulders. It is very long. My shoulders were restricted. I do agree with all the other reviews of how North Face Sizing is extremely off. It's either too small or too big if you go up a size. I returned it.

Low quality compared to previous version of this coat which I wore for 5 years. Velcro instead of snaps. Not as fitted. Not as sharp looking up close.

I love the dusty purple color and the faux fur is really pretty, but the fit was just super unflattering for me. Maybe it's because I'm petite (5'3''), but the shoulders seemed kinda wide and boxy. Also I didn't like how the velcro goes all the way to the top, it makes the collar kind of stiff.... I ordered a small and I think if I sized down it would have been too tight. Wanted to love this but didn't work for me.

PROS: The fit and size of this winter coat is spot on! It’s super warm and stylish during harsh NY weather. I love how the faux fur is detachable. CONS: Now the two reasons as to why I’m giving 3 stars overall instead of 5 stars is that the exterior of this coat attracts lint/ pet hairs. Also, after less than a month of wear, there are feathers coming out of the interior of this coat. Considering the price of this coat, I expected more from TNF. I will be looking into another coat for next winter.

Love the parka for cold weather, fits well and looks great. Sad that the updated design removed snaps and added Velcro patches. I liked the ease of a couple snaps to cinch closed instead of having to zipper up each time as the Velcro doesn't hold.

We returned it because it had holes in the pocket and haven't been able to reorder it

This looked cute in the picture but was huge in my normal size. It also is really stiff so it would have been difficult to bend over or zip. I ended up returning this and getting a different TNF jacket that was the same length but less bulky.

Very warm! Love the deep hood. Only complaint that it is bulky.

The Velcro on this coat does not stay closed and the bottom zipper comes undone constantly.

I use it daily in NYC. I use hoods often, but don't like the fur... but when I took it off it doesn't stay on my head. Also, the Velcro sticks to everything.

I have been wearing this jacket everyday since I bought it in October. I practically live in this jacket. I generally always feel cold but this jacket has helped me survive the NYC snow storms and travelling around in this winter as well. It keeps me warm and I dont need any additional layers. Sometimes, I will add in a sweater. I am 4'11 and I wear a Medium size. It falls just above my knee. I love the length. The only and the biggest problem with this jacket is the square like fitting. I am wider at the hips and shoulders are 14", so I had to pick the medium one. The shoulders are very squarish and really huge. The difference between small and medium size is a couple of inches between shoulders. The sleeves are very long too. So it gives a very bulky feeling at the top, especially for petite people. I love the overall exterior look, no zips, no pocket flaps, no buttons. Gives a very clean look. The other problem is the hood. It ends at a very awkward place on the head making moving your head around very difficult and is not flattering

I have wanted a North Face for years, many of my friends raved about theirs so when the opportunity came up to buy them with a discount because I am a nurse I jumped at it. I have had this coat for a few months and have used in for the last 6 weeks as my main coat. I live in the Midwest and it's been a pretty mild winter so far. This coat is a fall coat at best. It is a decent outer layer due to its ability to cut through the wind but it is not warm. I have worn it in a 75 degree home without sweating. I have owned down coats before that caused me to sweat in temperatures around 70 degrees. The only reason it gets 3 stars instead of 1 is because I got this at a discount so for the price I paid it is an ok jacket but I got 50% off. For a so-called arctic coat this fails to live up to its name.

Great quality and very warm but I wore a scarf with it and now there is a ton of lint on it. It has 2 zippers and the bottom one often slides up. Dirt sticks to it

This jacket is very warm. Im a little saddened though because for the price it shouldn't have feathers coming out of it! Every time I where it Im stick with these little tiny feathers all over my sweater. That beats the purpose as to why I even bought this coat to begin with because my old one used to this. I wish I could could return for a replacement. Ive only had it for a month.

I'm 5'4 about 175-180 pounds. I don't have a big chest, but I do have wide hips, big butt and mom pouch. I've had a North Face short puffer before and I had that in XL and could hardly fit a sweater under that. The size chart for this parka recommended Large, but I went with XL thinking it would be snug around the waist. The coat was too big, I probably could have went with a Large and still fit a light sweater underneath. The arms seem a bit short. The shoulders are boxy almost looking like I had shoulder pads and I can't tell if it's because it was a little big on me or if the coat is made to look like that and it hardly gave me any shape. Also it went past my knee and I was hoping for something right above it for easier movement. If you are taller than 5'4 it should be a good length unless you are shorter and want it long? The fur was a bit annoying and I don't envision I would have kept it on the hat if I kept the coat. I wish they made a petite/short version of this jacket to take into consideration ladies under 5'5.

I wear a small in other TNF coats but this felt huge. Yet the snap at the bottom unsnaps when I bend my knees or step up into my car. Salt and lint shows easily on the black color too.

Velcro ... get rid of it and put snaps back. If it wasn't a gift I would return it.

The fur hood on this coat is beautiful. I returned to coat because it was not comfortable. It was so stiff I felt like I couldn't even bend down and put my boots on. The black also shows every little piece of lint and was kind of a dull black color. I exchanged for the triple C parka and love it!!

I loved this coat but like someone else said it's not made for tall girls. I have long arms and the arms were way too short and the chest felt tight.

New model of this coat is not as good as the old. The velcro instead of buttons restricts your movement as they are always coming apart and the hood is way too small! It's practically unusable. No longer worth the cost of the coat.

Jacket seems very warm and windproof, but the arms are way too long. I'm 5'2" and 115, and the arms are about 4" too long. Wish they carried it in petite sizes. Too bad, but it's going back.

I ordered this in an XS, my usual size from the North Face. It's looks great on the website, and is definitely warm - however, it is SO BULKY. Granted I'm 5'1" and have a petite frame, but was still shocked my the pure bulk of this parka. The hood is not removable, which adds to the overall bulky feeling. I ended up going with the Metropolis Parka (same brand and size) and it was a much better fit. Just as warm, but more streamlined.
