This coat is perfect for winter in chicago- blocks wind, waterproof, and the warmest but not cumbersome coat I have ever owned. I highly recommend it. It also looks nice as I've received many compliments! Not too long and not too short!

I love this coat! It's flattering and functional. It has a clear waistline, and is something I'm happy to wear casually and to work, which is a professional setting. I live in Wisconsin, where the winters are harsh, and it works beautifully. I'm 5'5" at 150 lbs., and a Large fit nicely.

Since finding out I am allergic to wool I have been searching for a stylish warm coat to wear over suits to work. I ended up ordering the red one and LOVE it. Not too poofy just the right weight for cold winter days!!

I shopped and I shopped until I had to stop. It wasn't to be found online or in our local store. I ordered another coat online and then.. I went back to the store and hence, there was more. I quickly bought the last large size in this style and got a return service and refund with a smile.

the quality and workmanship on this item was excellent. I know it would keep mw warm when I visit this winter in Chicago. The sizing on North Face coats and parka are different than other stores and brans. the XL left no rook in my middle for other winter clothes under it. Nice chocolate brown color. Ordered on line, but did take it in to the strode to return it. No problem with a refund. I did find a hat, wool socks, and gloves, Nice new store in south Coast Plaza. Crystal Court 2 nd level. Sale persons were very helpful.I am 73, short and pudgy in the middle.

Just moved from California to wisconsin and I needed a jacket to keep snuggled up in the unfamiliar thing called snow , this jacket nails it on the nose . It's incredibly warm , and stylish ! Many of the coats I was trying made me feel like I was wearing my comforter with a zipper not this one ! Truly well made great purchase ! I highly recommend it !

My Parka Winter Coat is amazing. Looking forward to wearing it this winter in Chicago. The material of the coat is wonderful and warm. Looking forward to wearing it during the Chicago Cold weather.

I came to freezing cold Wisconsin from trendy New York hoping to find a coat that would not only be fashionable but also protect me from 20 below zero temperatures. This coat does just that. I tried other cheaper coats but finally took the plunge and got the best of the best. Worth every penny.

I bought this for my wife and ordered the red one. When it came she absolutely loved it. I also bought a Mcmurdo for myself and took it back to get it in red since it was just that awesome. You got to have one if you live in the cold!!! We live in Wisconsin and it's just a savoir.

Really like this coat! Fits perfectly. It's a little greener than I thought it would be but I actually really like the color. Definitely recommend it and am glad I have it to get me through this coming Chicago winter.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this jacket so much!! I needed a basic trench down jacket to keep me and my bottom half warm during long German Winters while riding my bike or walking through the city. This jacket was exactly what I was looking for!! I am not so into the faux fur but you can easily remove it. I also loved the color options.

I spent a little more than I would have like to, but when I received this coat, I was very pleased with the quality as the North face ways delivers. I ordered a size small and was true to size. Very warm, and great quality.:

After trying a shorter Northface I kept checking for the longer coat. I experienced my first winter without a car and my Northface kept me warm. The color was not my first choice but my thoughts was let me get it while it is available. Love it more than my fur coat.

I would recommend this coat to everyone. It's well insulated, and weather resistant. A very good purchase. Bring on the negative temps!

The coat is a quality product as seen. Runs a little small, so if you are xs, needs to order small.

It is so warm, so comfy to wear, I can deal with coming winter.

I live in Michigan, so winters are windy, and FREAKING COLD. This jacket is wind proof, water proof and super insulated. Its perfect for our weather. My last coat was a puffer coat by Michael Kors. The zipper doesn't stay zipped and the snaps are literally falling off. I told the associate helping me about it, and she told me North Face has free repair for life. I know its quality, but this is added security and eased my fears about this big purchase. It does run a little small. I typically wear an XL (Im a size 16 pant, and XL top), and I had to go up a size to XXL for my hips and chest. So now there is plenty of room for wearing layers underneath it. (Not that lots of layers are needed, its WARM and WONDERFUL. So happy with my new coat!

Jacket is very well made. I recommend for taller women I had to return because it was to long for my short legs

This coat was bought to handle Russian winters and it absolutely does that. The hood helps to keep warmth from escaping from my head and it is long enough to cover the majority of my body. Great find!

I've been looking at this parka for awhile and finally made the purchase. I'm in MN and the winters can be cold and windy. I just received my jacket this summer, but I know by just trying it on it will do the job of keeping me warm. I'm 5'4" and about 125 lbs. I ordered the small as I normally do and it fits perfect but there's not a lot of extra room for big bulky clothes under. However, the fact the jacket is so warm it won't even matter. I'm excited to wear it!

I got my coat a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it. The fit is perfect and the red color I bought it in looks just like in the picture. The hood fits very well and overall the coat quality is excellent! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm winter coat.

This jacket is by far one of the best purchases that I have made. This jacket is warm, comfortable and the fit is excellent. I love the length and the medium fits me perfect. I'm 5'8 and 145 lbs.
