Ive been searching for the perfect parka for weeks. So glad I found this one! It's so comfortable and warm. I live in Michigan and it's perfect for our freezing winters. I think it looks stylish. I got in the navy color. I was pleasantly surprised that the front pockets were lined with a soft warm material which is nice when you put your hands in your pocket. Would definitely recommend.

I wear this daily to work during the really cold temperatures and it keeps me dry and warm!

This coat is wonderfully warm without having the "bulk" that some winter coats have. We just survived -40-degree windchill temps, and this coat kept me toasty warm. I ordered the navy blue coat, and the color actually looks a little sharper (less "heathered") than it does in the picture online. I love it. My only regret is that I waited 2 years to buy it! If you're on the fence, you won't regret buying this coat!

Very warm, preotrcts from wind and rain. Love the navy color. Kept me warm in Chicago’s polar vortex (-20F, -45F windchill). I’m between a small and medium but sized up to allow for layers, and also because I plan to have this coat for many years. I’m 5’6” 128lb and wear a small in most clothes, including Patagonia pullovers.

I did my research before deciding to purchase this jacket. I had a bad experience with an expensive parka I purchased a few years ago from a well known designer. That disappointment left me with an extensive list of must haves. I searched all of North Face's competitors. This coat checked all of my boxes and didn't cost $1,000 +. I ordered it with hopes it would beat the polar vertex's arrival. Unfortunately UPS couldn't deliver on time due to our temperature hitting -48 degrees last week. But after we reached a balmy -32 degrees, they showed up with my new parka. While I didn't get to test the coat in -48 degrees, I did wear it as soon at it reached my door. I threw the dog's snow boots on her, donned my new parka and out the door we went for the afternoon walk. I'm used to cold weather living in the Midwest. But let's face it, this polar vertex was no joke. You can't really expect perfection at -32 degrees from any garment can you? Guess what?! You can! I was toasty warm. Very pleasantly surprised! Today, we experienced strong and chilling wind gusts. Again, this jacket held up! I'm a believer! You can't go wrong with this jacket. It is made with great craftsmanship. Buy it!

This jacket was one of my best purchases. I've had it for over a year. Our winter this year has been brutal with subzero temps and I have stayed warm and comfortable through it all. The quality is unmatched to any coat I've owned. Highly recommend. Also the fit is very flattering. I purchased the Olive and I love the contrast of the colors in the "fur" hood. Love love love this.

I took the faux fur collar off and it gives a clean and elegant and unadorned impression. Can handle serious cold and kept me warm. I saw it on a friend and she looked warm AND elegant and that sold me. So glad you handle xxl so I could enjoy this marvelous coat. Also glad your coats are faux fur and doesn't harm the geese. Good for you and much appreciated by your customers. I recommended it to another friend who also purchased one.

I am a teacher that has outside recess duty. This coat is perfect for the elements!! I love how it fits and keeps me very warm! It's the best coat I ever have owned.

I wear it all the time walking my dog or baby sitting and playing in the snow with the kids. I needed something warm and I just wanted to be covered its literally perfect

The jacket is super warm. Love it. I am from Michigan and this keeps me warm regardless of the cold weather (sometime even in negatives). It fits perfect and is flattering to the shape. I am 5'4, weight ranges from 115-125 lbs and XS fits me perfect. My only tiny complains is that the zipper does not always go into the double zipper from the first time. Also, because the jacket is longer, I cannot take an extremely large step.

Needed a jacket/parka to withstand Northeast winter in NY and Boston and it did its job! Very warm, wind proof and waterproof. Love it and happy with purchase!

The length is perfect with a pair of y'all boots! This jacket has kept me so warm with the polar Vortex in the Midwest currently! It's comfortable, I've received so many compliments on it. I've had 0 feathers come out of the jacket!

I usually wear a small in tops but went with the medium to have a little extra room. Even with the room to move it is still a flattering silhouette and stylish for a parka. It has been a stunning difference to wear in super cold NYC these days. For the price point I think it's the best out there and it's traceable down which is important to me.

This coat offers serious warmth for serious winter weather. I highly recommend it for commuting, dog-walking, and just being outside. Although it's very warm, it's not overly bulky.

I hadn't had a Northface winter jacket for years. I needed something warm and well made that I know will last for years. This coat fits this list. The zipper was alittle fussy the first time but not an issue since then. The sleeve cuffs are a wonderful surprise! After looking at a number of different coats, I'm extremely happy I chose Northface again! You won't be disappointed!

I love this coat and am glad that I bought it one size larger. I have a larger chest and this coat in a larger size does not make me look large.

I was originally gifted with a medium size in the gray, but for some reason, I felt it restricted my movement. I loved the coat and the color, but I didn't like the fit. The cinching at the waist made it difficult to bend over, and the sleeves seemed like a Chris Farley sketch/Fat Man in a Little Coat-I'm 5'7, 150 lbs., and normally wear a medium in other coats/jackets from North Face. I returned the coat to my local store and re-ordered a navy size L because North Face didn't have a larger size in the same color anywhere in the US/popular coat it seems. It's a bit big on me, and the sleeve length is longer than I like, but it's super warm so I am not concerned about the fit. Ideally, I would've liked the medium to fit, but in this case, the cut just didn't allow it for me. Will wear it until the wheels fall off.

I decided to go with another jacket but this one was super warm. I just wanted something a little different. It was much like a coat I had a few years ago...you would be sure to be warm in this!! Thanks North Face for making it so easy to return.

Bought this for the freezing cold winters in Michigan. It does a great job and I highly recommend it! So warm and has more of a tailored fit compared to the others.

This jacket is quite effective at blocking out wind and rain. I use it for winters in Michigan and it is amazing. For the price and the quality this jacket is one of the best on the market.
