This is my second pair of the Thermoball jacket. My first one has a hood. This one is just as perfect. It is very light and it keeps me warm. This jacket is packed with awesomeness :).

Was looking for jacket that's not too bulky yet warm and waterproof on cold, rainy days. Perfect piece when it's extra cold outside and your usual jacket won't do alone. Is great layering piece for skiing also. I'm able to put in under a jacket and get protection from the wind. Love the color--teal/green inside. Have received many compliments. Should be perfect go-to jacket for spring and not so cold days. Love how you can stuff it in small places or gym bag between workouts. I do find it is true to size according to how The North Face does their sizing. I am 5'2" and 128 lbs. and small fit perfect. Thanks The North Face!!

The lightest weight and one of the warmest jackets I've ever had. I spend a lot of time outdoors and it's a great jacket to have.

I love that jacket! I get so many compliments, I'm afraid to leave it on a coat rack in case it disappears! It is so lightweight, and yet quite warm.

My thoughtful boyfriend gave me the jacket as a gift this winter. I'm very active outdoors around the year. The jacket is so light, but very warm, and also blocks the wind well. I don't need a lot to keep me warm, but all I needed for running in 15-20 degree weather was the jacket and a long sleeve t shirt. I also love the hot pink color!

I love the coat I purchased. It is definitely warm and hard to believe because it is so light. I will definitely be purchasing more items in the future!

I have gone outside in -3_ weather and I am warm in this thin jacket wearing a short sleeve shirt underneath...I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone interested in purchasing it..I live in Chicago and it gets really cold here in the Winter

Love my Thermoball jacket! It's perfect for running around and staying warm without the bulk of a heavy winter coat. The hot pink against the black looks awesome!

The description for this product is very accurate. The jacket is super light weight, but also very warm. I have experienced a lot of rain, snow, and negative degree temperatures thus far with this product. It has remained dry and retained warmth.

It took me several weeks to buy this jacket. I 'd tried it on and couldn't believe that something so thin would keep me warm, especially since I am cold all of the the time (even in summer!), so I was reluctant to buy it. I finally decided to buy it and try it for a week and return it if it didn't work out. Well, this one is a keeper! It was 1 degree this morning (and with the wind chill it felt like -20), and with my TNF Denali under my Thermoball I was totally fine. I wouldn't say the jacket makes me toasty warm (I never am though no matter what I'm wearing) but I'm not freezing or even really cold. It definitely blocked the wind, too.

I live in WI, so I know cold. I purchased this jacket, because I prefer thinner jackets over bulky ones. I normally wear a hoodie under my fleece jackets, but was surprised to find that it is not necessary with my Thermoball. It is very deceptive to the eye. While it is very thin, it provides me with plenty of warmth, even in 20 degree temps with some wind. Recently I wore it with a thin knit sweater and long sleeve t under it to a dog park on Christmas. It was a bit chilly and windy, but the jacket did exactly what it was supposed to. It blocked the wind and keep my own body heat in, thereby, keeping me toasty warm. I think I even broke a slight sweat! I have no regrets whatsoever. My only issue, and it isn't really an issue, is that I did purchase a large, knowing it runs a bit small and I normally take a medium, it is still a bit tight across the chest, but I am a bit bustier than normal.

She loves it so warm and comfy very light as I said toasty. I bought it for my wife because I like my North Face 800 a lot so much I almost could not wait for it to get cold so i could wear it.

I purchased this jacket for traveling. It is light weight to take with me and to wear a long period of time in the car. It is super cute and looks great with everything.

This one the best jacket I've ever purchased. It is so light weight and so warm.

After receiving the jacket and trying it on I thought that the jacket was a bit too bold in color for me but the cut and the fit of the jacket was exactly what I was expecting...perfect. I was on the verge of returning the jacket for a different color but my daughter saw it on me and she thought otherwise. So out we went shopping and I received more than a few positive comments from complete strangers. I'm keeping the jacket!!!

I will be retiring my Denali Jackets for this one. I wish I could trade them in for more thermoballs in other colors! I wore this jacket in 0 degree weather walking on my college campus with a thick cotton shirt underneath and my upper body was perfectly warm. It's a perfect weight for inside, I didn't take it off or unzip it all day through many classes. This jacket is so light and thin that it can easily be layered under other coats. For reference: I wear the same size in this as the denali, and the thermoball is much more flattering.
