I bought this jacket for a backpacking trip to the Eastern Sierras. It is very light and super easy to pack; you can actually pack it up into the pocket for easy storage. I get cold very easily and this kept me warm in 30-40 degree temps. The pockets are roomy too. I haven't washed it yet and haven't had it more than a month, so I can't say how it holds up, but I'm a fan so far.

I own this jacket and I love it so much that I also bought one for my Mother in law for her trip to Australia. It is the best travel jacket you'll ever have. It is light, comfy and warm

Light weight but very effective keeping you warm on windy brisk days. Roomy while being fitted. I thought this was expensive but I should get plenty of wear out of it!

I absolutely love the gorgeous fuchsia color of this beautiful jacket. It's warm enough to keep me cozy in San Diego's chilly evenings but anything colder than that it would require a few more layers. I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it, it fits very well and is a great addition to my wardrobe

I really like this jacket. I ordered larger than I normally would to be able to layer underneath. It was the right decision for me.

I walk to work everyday. On the weekends every day, rain or shine, hot or cold, I walk my 130 pound English Mastiff/St Bernard mix on the Monument tour This is the PERFECT jacket. 1) It's light weight 2) It has a hood 3) It's water resistant and dries quickly once inside 4) It's warm and wind resistant 5) It has a nice cut so that it has shape and isn't boxy like most outdoor wear
My only complaint is that I wish it came in more colors. I would own one in every color (especially silver) if they made them.

I bought this jacket because it's so light and flexible. I live in the Midwest and grow tired of wearing heavy, stiff coats for most of the year. I am petite but have broad shoulders and my normal size Medium fits perfectly. It hardly feels like you are wearing a jacket at all. I was amazed at how well it kept the wind out. We had 30 mph winds a couple of weeks ago and 30-40 degrees and I did not feel a bit of wind come through that jacket.

This is the perfect jacket for chilly days. It is much warmer than you'd think-as soon as you start moving it's as if it kicks into gear and warms you up. Love to wear it on dog walks and hikes. Plan on bringing to Machu Picchu for cold mornings and evenings because of the fact that it is so lightweight and will go undetected in my daypack midday.

I needed a lightweight yet warm jacket for our cross-country bike trip. The Thermoball is perfect. The added bonus is that it packs into its own pocket and tucks easily into my pannier.

I love the Thermoball jackets so much that I have 7 of them. I wear them to work, to walk in and to have fun in. They are super comfortable and easy to clean. I always get lots of compliments when I wear them.

I really like this jacket it's nice for a spring day and out and about that sort of thing just like the Denali the Denali has more fabric and color options although I do like the pockets and the breathability in the Thermoball about the fit is a little small so if you're going to buy one I would say by one close fitting or it won't be warm at all. I would not buy the jacket for work or for warmth. I get that it's a packable down but the nuptse I think is a better value especially for warmth or the aquagunga . Denali would be just as good for that or the Tamburello if you're looking for just something every day or the osito I love the osito has the same pockets as the thermoball and for half the price.
