The shoes itself are great and it feel bad to lower my 5* rating because all the information needed is there. The size of those shoes are smaller than any other shoes i bought in the last 30 years. I thought after getting them that the shoes would adapt to my foot but I'm sorry to say they didn't. Definitely buy a SIZE OVER what you usually get. Great shoes, bad size.

Being an avid fan of Salomon over the years, it seems that the quality has deteriorated and they have to tried to replace 'what works' with so called improvements. The lace systems are now flat laces, difficult to get a good tie hold in the hooks and constantly work their way loose. The tongue, well what's that about ..just to make thing's more awkward. I've replaced the laces for round ones which helps a bit. Will give it a season and then bin like I've had to do with many others over the past few years. One boot pops when I walk, to remind me it's still on foot I suppose? but had many that do this with no rhyme or reason but have persevered until now, probably time for a change....
