I love everything about this coat except for how difficult it is to zip/unzip.

NF always runs a little small, but I should be running a little smaller also so it's not really the jacket's fault. Warm, comfortable, and great for a MN winter.

This coat is very comfortable and has a good length for anyone with a longer torso. The inner liner seems lightweight, so not sure how warm it is by itself, but the coat as a whole seems warm! I did not keep it, but it was a good coat!

I like the look of the jacket and if it was able to tighten the wrist I would keep it. I ordered the black but was sent a heather gray - ultimately I returned it. I know that North Face has other options similar to this one with Velcro at the wrist but I really liked the interior jacket in this one compared to the others. If I had received the correct color I may have looked past the sleeve issue and kept it

This is a great jacket. I love all the 3in1 north face jackets. I had ordered this one and the point it down parka. I ended up returning the point it down and kept this one. It's longer than all of the other north face 3in1 jackets I have so keeps all the snow out when skiing. Only downsides I've noticed... the end of the sleeves on the fleece liner rub against the velcro and pull (another reviewer posted pics of the same issue) and it feels a little snug in the armit/shoulder area. Other than that it's great, super warm!!

Bought for my wife. She loves the jacket. Very warm and outer layer is waterproof. She also likes that you can take the hood off or leave it on.

I love my new jacket. It is perfect for the cold winters and I love that I can unzip the inner shell and wear it for milder weather. I also love that the main shell is water proof. Very nice for wet heavy snow and rain.

I was super impressed when my jacket arrived! It is gorgeous, comfortable and fit perfect. I'm always in between a medium and a large with my body type and am glad I went with a large. I bought to go skiing in January. Will try to write another review after that trip about comfort in the extreme cold!

I was really excited to get this jacket in store because they had it in stock at my local store. I wanted black because I don't really like colorful jackets. I went and looked for it for a while because I thought they were out of stock and so did the guy assisting me. Then, it turned out that the jacket is not in fact black, but dark grey. It looks like a man's jacket. I like it and I wear the inside fleece jacket everyday, but I was very disappointed because the picture shows black. This is a nice jacket, but I wish the picture showed the true color.

Really like this jacket. Fits me well, I got a small. I'm 5'4" and about 120 pounds, slender build. Jacket is more grey in person, inner fleece is very black. Logo on fleece is white, outer jacket it's black. I wish it was all black lettering, but no big deal. I have another North face jacket in this 3 piece style, and this one I would actually wear 3 ways. The other I have I don't think I would wear the inner layer on its own. Feels very warm, even just wearing the outside shell. All in all, really enjoying this jacket!

I bought this after much research trying to decide what kind of jacket I'd need. I'm a FL girl moving to AK, so I am clueless when it comes to cold weather. That being said, this jacket is extremely warm. The inner removable jacket is a very nice sweater type material instead of the usual fleece, which is why I chose this one. The color is really different, like a slate grey almost, very pretty. I bought the medium after trying out their size guide. The jacket does hit a little bit lower on me because I am short (5'2) but I like that as it covers a bit more than if I had ordered the small. The sleeves and the back of the inner jacket button to the outer jacket, providing less slippage, which is nice.

This jacket is not black at all. The inner fleece is black but not the outer jacket. TNF black is what I ordered and expected that smooth material in solid black like all of the other tnf black products I have purchased. Great jacket though for this awkward time of year in Boston but very different from other 3in1s.

I have had the Kalispell for a couple of years and love it. I am 5 months pregnant and my original one is no longer fitting so I ordered a size up and I'm very disappointed with the change to remove the snaps and replace with velcro. It's loud, annoying and seems very cheap.

This jacket was much boxier than I expected, not tailored like it seems in the picture. Also, the black is not really black. The outer shell is mostly grey. That being said, the inner fleece part fits very nicely and is, in fact, black. The whole thing is also extremely warm, which is what I was going for when I ordered it.

I absolutely LOVED the look and design of this jacket when I ordered it. When I pulled it out of the box the day it was delivered, the jacket looked even better than it did online. I was so excited about my purchase... until I tried it on. The sleeves went all the way down to my finger tips and the length of the body looked just long enough for the jacket to look awkward and big. I looked like a little kid. The liner jacket looked even worse on me than the jacket as a whole. Not only were the arms of the liner jacket too long, but they were very wide as well - just a terrible fit overall. To give you an idea of my size, I am 5'4" and typically wear a size 4 or 6 depending on the store. I'm at that awkward height where I tend to be a tad too short for regular-sized items, but often too tall for petite. I ordered a medium jacket. I went to The North Face store to try and exchange the jacket for a smaller size, but unfortunately the small version of the jacket did not want to zip around my hips. I tried on several other styles of the 3-in-1 jackets and they were all too long. Since The North Face doesn't sell petites, I was forced to return the jacket. Now I am on the hunt for another jacket from a comparable brand to replace it. In summary, the jacket looks great and seems to be high quality, just not right for short girls. So disappointed that I won't be able to sport a North Face jacket this winter.

I bought this to be my daily wear jacket and I HATE IT!!!! I would take it back, but I live in Nome, Alaska, and that is not a possibility for me. I had an older version of the Triclimate jacket, and it had more pockets. I like to keep my keys and cards in the breast pocket of all my jackets so my important things don't get lost. THIS JACKET DOES NOT HAVE ANY POCKETS BESIDES THE HAND POCKETS!! This is terrible for people like me who do active things in their jackets and don't have time for wagging around a purse. I would not buy this jacket again and I am angry that I have to keep this one (after the money I spent!). Do not be fooled by "media compatible pocket." This just means the OUTSIDE hand pocket has a hole in it for your earphones!!

I first started browsing online since the North Face store near me didn't have anything I really liked. I came across this specific one and fell completely in love with it. I went ahead and ordered it. FedEx missed the delivery date and so I had them place a hold on it since its pretty pricy and I live in Chicago. Didn't want it to get stolen :P Anywho. When I finally got ahold of my package. I was deeply sadden that was "GRAY" not Black as pictured. It was heavy. Bulky and my 11 year old pointed out that it looked like his jacket a "Zero Exposure" for boys also in "Gray". I was greatly disappointed. It's not what I wanted. My husband tried to convince me that it wasn't that bad. It was "nice". Well, today it goes back. Never again will I order online, I'll browse maybe another store near me, the closest being Evanston. But no never again.
