This was a gift to myself...haven't purchased a new winter coat in 20 years and decided to give myself a Christmas present. Love the color and can't wait for "real" winter weather to come to the south having had the air conditioner turned on during the Christmas holiday.

Quality you can feel as soon as you put it on. Super warm and versatile. Great look and feel. Only down parts.. Not enough pockets.. Runs a little small.. Need to exchange for a size up than usually worn, and the kelispell tfn black is more of a grey color. .. Still nice looking just not expected. Can't wait for the snow now!

Gift for my daughter who loves it. She skis, plays hockey, totally outside girl.

This was a great purchase especially with the 3-in-1. The color is beautiful and the coat keeps you warm.

I bought this jacket for my wife. She's not an avid outdoors person, but hates being cold when outside, especially when its cold and wet. We exchanged it only for color as she decided she liked the black jacket. She is a nurse and loves wearing the inner fleece to work on cool days. As the temperature has dropped at nights to freezing temps she put the jackets together and stayed warm the entire time she was outdoors. She's already talking about other North Face products to buy for Christmas. She loves the fit, but being a shorter person, 5'2, she feels the sleeves are a little too long.

A friend of mine had a jacket like this and loved it so I bought one. Looking forward to it keeping me toasty in the winter whether I'm skiing, shoveling or just walking around.

I love this coat, I researched online and in stores for a long time trying to find the right coat. I do a lot of hiking, and will be doing winter hiking this year and some mountaineering. I got this to wear outdoors mainly, as well as a regular winter coat. I like that it's layered, so on warmer days I can wear one of the two pieces, and when it's cold wear both. It seems really warm to me, the coldest weather I've worn it in was 29 degrees and I felt comfortable. My only complaint would be that I ordered an XS and it still seems slightly big, even though XS is my typical size.

The first time i wore this jacket was halloween night. I took my kids trick or treating in the poconos...this jacket kept me nice and toasty once the sun went down and temp dropped!!

This product is beyond amazing! It's super warm and dries very fast. I love that I can use it as a rain coat as well! It's a very cute and stylish jacket and the colors are awesome! I love my new tri-climate coat! Both layers look and feel great, are light weight, and good in any kind of weather. I use it in rain and wind and cold weather, and the inner layer is great for inside restaurants and movie theaters. So comfortable and comforting!

The recipient did not have any coats, so this particular style allowed her one for cool weather, one for rain, and one for cold weather.

The north face makes quality products. This jacket is no exception. The color is beautiful and the jacket will keep me toasty warm this winter. The underarm could have been a little larger, as the coat is lightly lined and has the warm sweater fleece jacket inside. I can still fit a sweater underneath it , so it works out fine. I absolutely love anything by the north face. Worth every penny.

I bought this for college in Oregon. I need a jacket that will keep me dry and warm. The interior fleece is cozy and I will use it in the fall without the liner. It is flattering and I love the color.

I searched for a long time, and even got a McMurdo parka, trying to replace an old triclimate hyvent I had. I couldn't find anything as comfortable as the older goretex type fabric, everything was either a puffer or very heavy & restrictive. This jacket is great, the charcoal grey with black is stylish enough to wear with less casual/office clothing. I like the fit, although as other reviews have mentioned, the bottom of the zipper is wonky, I'm having the same problem getting it to connect right at the bottom, and it seems like it might be off-track a lot. I like having the pit zips, and the inner sweater liner is really soft and nice on it's own. Hood is appropriately sized for a smaller head, which I appreciate. Overall very happy, 5 stars if not for the zipper.

Inner fleece is a great coat even on its own.
