I have been using this jacket both assembled and as separate pieces in California for cool days and nights (34-60 degrees). It is warm without being heavy and seems to allow my body to stay at a comfortable temperature through a range of temperatures.

In the cold Wyoming winters when I'm sledding and hiking this jacket keeps me warm and dry.

Used to play snowboarding with my kids

I really like this jacket. It was watm and not bulky at all! I felt cute in it. I run cold in general and it's kinda embarrassing having to wear a huge coat all the time. This coat is just as warm as my big down one, without looking bulky! Yeah! : )

I really like this jacket, it keeps me warm when its really cold. I have to walk several blocks to school and when it is raining outside i remain dry while wearing the jacket.

My first jacket in a beautiful neon coral was stolen, my husband replaced it immediately in red. Love quality and features. Customer for life!

Love North Face outer wear and this jacket with removable lining is no exception. Comfortable and really warm.

I wear it running every morning with temperatures as cold at -32. It has great flexibility and many options for when the weather warms up.

I have had this jacket for several months now and I absolutely love it. I did a lot of research before investing in a jacket at this price, but I am so glad that I did. I bought it before my trip to Iceland and I was incredibly warm the entire trip. The jacket is really light and I was surprised when I took it out of the box, but I couldn't believe how warm I am. Especially now that the Philly winter is upon us, I am glad I have this coat. Great purchase!

I really like this combination jacket. I used the outside jacket one day when it was raining and it kept me dry and comfy. The thermoball jacket is so lightweight, but warm. I used it to bike one cool day and I worked up heat mighty fast. I like that it fits snug and looks stylish. Not all puffy, making me look 100 pounds heavier. I look forward to wearing them together this winter. I purchased the black as I wanted a coat that would go with any color of hat and scarf I wore. This jacket is very well made!! I love it.

Wear as every day coat

After a couple weeks of wear, I am in love with this jacket! I was a little skeptical when it arrived because it is so incredibly light, however after wearing it on the slopes, the wind and water proof shell did exactly that and the Thermoball technology is so warm! The fit is exactly as stated, so there are no worries there. I was wasn't completely sold on this color originally, but it is actually a little bit darker than it looks in the picture and I have received so many compliments on it. Overall, I have absolutely no complaints what so ever and am so glad I bought this coat!!! I don't see myself having to by a new coat anytime soon.

This coat is very warm. The liner is easy to zip in and out and coverts into a nice jacket.

Wore during 8 days Iceland with a zipper fleece and a thermal shirt (+scarf, ear cover) and was toasty thru 3-4 crazy blizzards during that trip. We did a ton of walking thru Akureyri and trecking elsewhere and I've worn the jacket in separate configurations since I've come home.

This is my second North Face jacket. Gift from family. And its perfect... The best feature is the soft and cozy feel of both the layers. Its warm but not for very cold weather. Looking forward to wearing it in the coming months :-)
