I have been a North Face customer since my early teens. Their down filled coats help me survive the upstate New York winters walking to school. I've moved south many years ago and the North Face fleece is all that's needed for those chilly a South Carolina winter days. I initially ordered a large. I'm 5'10, 197 lbs., the large was a bit snug around the shoulders. This fleece seems to be a slim cut in my opinion. I returned the large and got the XL which fits perfect.

I bought this on my own (dangerous) and after putting it on, thought it was nice. But that wasn't the true test. I have thought that before only to be told otherwise. My wife is the true fashion police in our house and rightfully so. So when walked in with it on, she said, "Ooh, that looks good on you! And this one looks like it actually fits!" Needless to say, it won't be returned! We like to go out to eat during the day and this time of year, temperatures can fluctuate quite a bit. Great to have this as it keeps you comfortable without getting either too warm or too chilly.
