Supremely comfortable shoes! A little bit of a heel to dress them up and the fabric upper has a slight sheen to it as well. They fit my high instep quite well and are easy off and on. No heel slippage and no breaking in! Right now they're a very slight touch snug on the top of my feet but I have a feeling the fabric upper will stretch a tad. Get your regular size, these are true to size.

I am planning a trip to Italy and need good walking shoes. In researching Bernie Mev is one brand that came up. They are reasonable priced and seemed as fashionable as walking shoes can be. I was hopeful this was the answer. I am disappointed that the sizing in this brand is very inconsistent. I ordered 3 styles in both 37 and 38 for size. I am a true size 7. One pair in the 37 fit. The other pair the 37 was very short in length and the 38 was falling off my feet. This third pair I really wanted to work as it has a wedge and I cant wear total flat. No go the 37 was short my toes went all the way to the edge but yet my heel was slipping out of them. This was not due to my foot sliding forward it was because the heel of the shoe was too loose and did not hug the foot enough to keep it in place. All shoes seemed like they would have been comfortable to walk in but this brand needs to work on the fit of their shoes. Side note Zappos is wonderful I have talked to CS for suggestions on different brands and they have been knowledgeable and also patient as sadly nothing has been fitting me right in these European sizes so many returns sorry Zappos! However you get 5 stars for service.

I wanted to love these shoes because I have other Bernie Mevs. But the seam inside is so rough that I couldn't even make it to the mirror to see how they looked without taking them off first.

I love these shoes, normally wear a 91/2, on this style ordered up a size No heel slippage. Have received many compliments. I have a black pair and navy.

Why didn't I believe all the other reviews? I tried two different sizes, but in both cases my heel just slipped out and would have made walking any distance impossible. What a shame, because the style was just what I wanted. Believe everyone, this is a badly designed shoe!

Do not buy! Your toes will slide to the front in these shoes and cause extreme pain, cramping and discomfort. My mom and I bought multiple pairs in different styles/sizes and they all did this. These were the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. I bought them to walk around Europe and at first they felt as if they would be perfect. Then during the first half hour of walking my toes slid to the front. I had to take my heel out of the shoe because it hurt so bad. I tried socks, baby powder, band aids...toes still cramped up. I would look elsewhere for shoes.

I love bernie mevs. I own 6 pairs of the cat walks, one pair of the doll boots and one pair of the cha cha. The cat walk runs a little small so I order up one size and the fit is perfect. The boots and the cha cha are true to size. I need a big toe box and the flexibility of the woven fabric more than accommodates my foot. They are comfortable right out of the box. I would recommend bernie mevs for any one.

Cute shoe and probably great for travel but it was a little loose on my narrow heel and I need more underfoot cushion and support. It comes in a beautiful shoe box.

light and really comfy but heal keeps slipping down, going to return for a smaller size, typically wear size 7 1/2 bought size 38

I'm normally a 6 1/2 and had to go down to a 5 to get a fit. Other Bernie Mevs I have I wear a 6.

I thought the shoes were very comfortable but they were much too wide for me.

If you have bunions or other type of issues with your feet, you will love these shoes. Usually wear between an 8 and 8.5 and a 39 fits perfectly. I have a big bunion on my right foot, which causes no pain, just unattractive and if I wear the wrong shoe, the shoe causes pain. These shoes comfortably make room for my bunion yet hide the bunion! Highly recommend.

Love the shoe. Returned because something was inside the right shoe uncomfortable. Too big in the heels.

Love these shoes! Cute, comfy, and trendy, with just a little bit of heel. The fabric of the shoe has a lot of give so my foot does slip around a tiny bit. For me, it's not enough to be a problem. But if you have narrow feet I can understand how it might be. I also bought the bernie mev. Catwalk. Love those too!

Big Bernie Mev fan, but these just lack the style I was hoping for.

Comfortable shoe but sizing can be an issue. I have a pair I bought last year, it took three pairs of shoes to find one that fit well. Once I found the right fit, it has been my go to shoe for comfort. I have very bad feet and have difficulty finding comfortable shoes, the Cha Cha style works for me. This is my second pair of Bernie mevs.

Unfortunately, while I can make most Bernie Mevs work, these were too narrow for my wide width foot--noticeable stretching off the foot bed.

I loved the shoe - so cute and comfy - but super bummed because it slips on my heel. It doesn’t hurt when it slips because it’s a really soft and tall part of shoe back there, but it would drive me crazy to feel like my shoe was going to come off all the time. I may try a smaller size. Ordered a 39 and I’m usually a 9.

I loved everything about these shoes except for the fit. They fun at least a size small and I'm afraid I can't wear the next size up.

I saw a friend with these on and couldn't wait to order some for myself. And I haven't been disappointed. They can dress up just about any casual outfit and feel wonderful at the same time.

They look great. My heel keeps slipping out when I walk. I am disappointed that they don't work on my foot because I love the look and the heel height.

Runs a little tight and a little short. The tightness is to be expected, since they are elastic and will stretch, but I'm not going to chance it; they're going back.
