Padding in shoe was great. However, had to return. Medium width shoe was very narrow. Very disappointed.

As many people have stated here, these run small. Even smaller than other Asics. I went a half size up from my usual running shoes and could have probably gone up another half (a note: I do have wide feet). There is some super padding here--maybe a response to the maximalist trend? These felt clunkier and less ventilated than past Cumulus versions. I had 15s that I loved and couldn't stand these 17s.

I bought these in February and they already have a hole worm in the toe. They are comfortable shoes they just have a hole and wore out quickly. I do not use them often as I have three pair of sneakers that I switch between often.

I love my Gel-Cumulus 16. When I tried the "17" version, the toe box seems more shallow and overall length was short by about 1/2 To 1 size. Wondering if the last was changed? Or just factory sizing error. If the last was changed, I'll search for some "16" and buy another pair.

I love the style and colors of this Gel-Cumulus 17 but this shoe just isn't right for my feet. I've tried my regular size 5.5 but it was too narrow in the toe box. Next I ordered a size 6 and it just didn't fit.

Am so disappointed in these Aasics. I've been wearing Gel-Cumulus for years in a size 7. Tried them on - felt a little snug but I thought it was just that they were new. Snipped off the tags and went out for a run immediately feeling that the shoe was too tight. Am extremely disappointed and not sure I should order a new pair half size up (7.5?) or if based on reviews the arch support will then be misplaced. What happened Asics?

Seems that with ASICS you should order the shoes at least a half size bigger or more. I didn't leave them on my feet long enough to decide-they were just obviously small.

If you loved the Gel Cumulus 15 and were disappointed in the Gel Cumulus 16 & 17, you must try the Gel-Flux2. I was skeptical, since the Flux2 was $40 cheaper, but the fit is perfect and much more similar to the Gel Cumulus 15 that I loved. I have a wide foot with bunions and have to order wide width shoes. Don't waste your money on the Gel-Cumulus 17.

My first Asics shoe was the Gel-Cumulus 15, which I absolutely loved and walked out three pairs. I got the 16 when it came out and it never gave me the comfort I needed. Therefore, I decided to try the 17. I am wearing it and it is better than the 16, but not as good as the 15. It feels like I am walking on the ground, even with an orthotic. Please bring back the 15.

I have worn ASICS for the last 15 years with no problem. However, these shoes gave me blisters almost immediately. The cushion was reduced from the prior versions and the shoe felt narrower. I tried wearing them just to walk around and eventually I had to throw them out. Highly disappointed and it caused me to have to switch sneaker brands.

I really tried to love these shoes because I love the color and the look. I purchased the half size larger, as I always do with Asics. I am a Nimbus wearer, at least for my last couple of pairs, and I always go up a half size. When I received these shoes, they felt roomier, so I thought I would just double up on my socks. Apparently, they were also too wide that I mistook for comfort. My knees would hurt after wearing these for running and even power walking. I would "heal" up with my old Nimbus, thinking that my knees were going since I was getting older. After consulting with my podiatrist, he suggested that my Cumulus were too wide and causing knee pain from all the movement in the shoe when I was running or walking. I just returned them for the Nimbus 18 so we will see how it goes. I also want to say that it is always a pleasure purchasing from Zappos. This company is a class act on all levels. Compared to the Gel nimbus 17 I am still considering sending this pair back. I was looking for a black shoe for my fahionesta self and thought this shoe would make the grade. All Asics have merit but how can I wear this shoe when I could be gliding in my gel nimbus? There is really a lack of support in this shoe though the fit is fine. I am considering buying gel inserts but wonder if it's just easier to not wear black shoes? Of course Zappos is the best shoe store in the land so I would probably send this pair back. My suggestion is for Asics to make women's shoes in solid colors in the gel nimbus 17.

I bought these in April, they lasted less than 5 months before there was a hole in the top mesh. I don't even wear them everyday. I'm a big fan of Asics, but very disappointed with these.

I wear the shoe for walking daily and after less than 6 months, wear spots broke through on the toe and side. The shoes fit well and were comfortable but the quality is poor. The mesh did not hold up, and now the shoes are worthless. I expected much more from Asics and will not buy this brand again. Extremely dis-satisfied. Satisfied.

Although these were the exact style and model as the Asics I bought in black, these hurt my feet after only a few minutes. Something was different!! I have the black ones on right now and they are very comfortable!
