Incredibly comfortable. Snug heel so it doesn't slip while walking. Plenty of room to spread your toes. For athletic shoes I always go up a half size to make sure I have plenty of room for my toes. The size 9 was perfect for my size 8.5 feet.

Without fail, Gel Cumulus are the only sneakers that work for me. Always love them! I wear a 7.5 in all other shoes but an 8 in these, order a half size up.

Out of the box comfort. No breaking in needed. Very light weight.

I have not worn the shoes yet, but I love them as far as their color and fit. I am waiting to find out if these are running shoes, or if they have low enough treads that I can wear them for cross training, light walking, shopping, and maybe some Zumba. If I keep the shoes, I will write an actual review later!

After purchasing these sneakers at a known sneaker retailer at the Mall, my husband suggested that I check them out on this site. They were $30.00 less, and of course, free shipping.

Perfect fit and good support as per usual with Asics shoes (for me anyway). I sometimes contemplate trying other shoes but the consistency and quality of the Asics running shoes keep me coming back.

Even though I had problems on my last order, I absolutely LOVE. Zappos. The shoes were defective and they had the replacement to me before I even sent back the return. As a Customer Service Manager in a different industry, I consider their service as some of the best I have ever experienced!

Excellent shoe! I tried a bunch of others, and came back again to the Gel Cumulus. It just feels so good, fits like a glove and has such great cushion.

I have been wearing this shoes for 7 years. This time I had to go up a half size from a 9 to a 9.5. I tried the narrow as well since I have narrow feet but the 9.5 AA was too short. Decided to stick with the 9.5 B. They feel very comfortable. I love Asics Cumulus!

I wear Asics all the time and have for years. This one is just as terrific. The colors are brighter and more fun than pictured. It does come up a little on the ankle, but there is abundant padding. I have a narrow foot and these fit fine.

Very comfortable, good support, runs true to size, nice ventilation. I wear these at work and for running around mostly on concrete all day. My only glitch is I wear a size 12.5 woman's which means shoes are always a bit wide for me because they tend to switch to men's shoe.

I like Asics and have worn the brand for nearly 12 years. However, a negative, is when you like a certain shoe type, the next version out usually isn't the same. So you're constantly changing types to find the next favorite shoe. I like Asics types which have the gel throughout to give my entire foot support. I'm happy - the Cumulus 17 is my new favorite shoe! It is so cushy and it is like walking on a cloud. Walking and working out in them is a breeze. My knees do not hurt. I'm pleased and would purchase again.

Gel Cumulus has been my savior for years, even though I can no longer run. They have kept me mobile despite numerous joint and connective tissue challenges. It's cushion and support have been a perfect fit for me. 17 seems to be a continuation, except the toe box is changed and is looser; not a plus for me. Because of knee issues I am moving to the Brooks Ghost for increased stability, but I still love the Cumulus (and the better color combinations of Asics).

I previously owned the Asics Gel-Cumulus 16 & desperately needed a new pair of running shoes. I absolutely love these! While I've only had them a few weeks, I am very happy so far. The fit is snug but not tight and provides great support. I don't have flat feet exactly, but my arch is rather low. These shoes offer the support I need while remaining very comfortable. Added bonus: I love the colors/ neon look!

Awesome shoe. I always wear Asics Cumulus, and the 17 didn't disappoint. I wear 8.5 M, and the fit and feel of this was true to form. Great cushioning for running; nice and roomy toebox.

I got these shoes for running outdoors, and I love them. They're comfortable, don't pinch my feet, and the colors are bright and fun.

I recently discovered Asics, both Gel Nimbus and Gel Cumulus. I like to take long walks and had been wearing New Balance, but noticed that those shoes, ostensibly the same model, have gotten uncomfortably narrower at the front of the shoe. I like the Asics because they're comfortable and slightly wider at the front. My only quibble is that I wish the women's shoes came in more subtle colors (like the men's) and not in screaming neon.

I love, love these shoes. They are true to size. I've been buying Asics for years. I tried Nike but, weren't as comfortable as these. These have a good arch support. I would recommend these to anyone.

These fit well in 7N but Nimbus had so much more padding that I could not resist. They do not have an exaggerated wide toe box and it looks like I have normal feet. I am not a big athlete and wear them with jeans daily.

Good for people who have a problem with supination and higher arches. I own two pairs and they have helped with my hips and back.

I did my research about a good running shoe for a mid-step, hard surface, beginner runner (me!) and got a recommendation for Asics Gel-Cumulus. The reviews seemed pretty divided about weather or not to order a half size up and, since my feet tend to be on the smaller side, I ordered my regular size, 6 1/2, in Aqua Mint. In true Zappos style, they arrived the next day (woo-hoo!) and were better looking in person than on the website despite the crazy-bright color. They fit like a glove which would be fine if I were just planning to walk around. However, since I plan to run, I've decided to exchange them for a half size larger so my big toe has room to move.
