This is my first North Face backpack and I love it! I love the colors and the extra padding in the back for my laptop to keep it protected. Great product.

Carry on for trips, biking, overnight trips

I love this back pack. I have shoulder problems so the padded, contoured straps helped a lot. The back plate seems stiff when sitting on the ground, but it is very comfortable on my back. I carry my computer, and sometimes a few books. I love all the compartments: padded section for my laptop, second large section with tons of pouches to organize things like a tablet, calculator, phone, pens and pencils, and a zip compartment for odds and ends. I also love the top pouch to carry my phone, wallet, keys and other things for easy access. I carry water, and juice in the side mesh pockets, and can carry a full lunch in the front mesh section. This is a great bag, and the size and shape, especially the curved shoulder straps work great for a woman's body.

This product is made well and looks sharp. I am a student and it can easily hold two textbooks, notebooks, computer, etc. I highly recommend it. The straps are very comfortable, too.

The Recon backpack is a hight-quality design which allows it to be very versatile! This pack is excellent for everyday use from taking to the office to day hikes in the mountains. The pack is adjustable and has ample space and storage for whatever you may need to carry! One of my older North Face backpacks is going on 10+ years and is still being used with no rips or tears! The North Face products are designed to last and I expect to get many years out of my new Recon.

School books, laptop, etc

I love this book bag it is perfect for being a student and also traveling on the road when I need a bag to carry all my stuff in !!!

Travel work

This backpack accommodates many needs. I love the laptop space. The compartments allow for easy organization and access to items.

I use this backpack for school and it is SO great for fitting a lot of bulky books and notebooks in. It is very compatible to all of the materials college students need! And it makes a heavy load seem light on your shoulders and your back, which has saved me many chiropractor trips!

This is my school and day tripping bag!

I bought this bag to use as a diaper bag/catch all bag for when traveling with my two girls. It is lightweight and I can shove a ton of stuff in this bag with all it's space and pockets.

Bought this for our son, my husband was so impressed with it, he has put one on his Christmas list, he is ready to ditch his computer bag for this backpack. His laptop fits perfectly and as you get older this backpack is much easier on the shoulders.

Great that this pack is specifically geared for a woman's frame. At 5'5", it fits me perfectly, and is very comfortable with the padded back & straps. I like the style and that it has more space and organizational features than previous backpacks I've had. It makes it very easy to find what I'm looking for quickly. I'm currently using it in lieu of a diaper bag and purse, but it could also be used for computer, books, etc. The quality is good. It's worth the price.

This is an excellent backpack bag that is well constructed with quality materials and lots of storage. I like the snug fitting laptop pocket that keeps my MacBook Pro secure. So many pockets and storage are make this bag perfect for commuting or hiking. I think the value is really great for this price point. I highly recommend it!

I would recommend this backpack to any student who is looking for comfort and even style! I carry about 3-4 notebooks and a textbook at all times. Along with that I also carry a MacBook with its charger and a TI84. This backpack is truly ergonomic and allows me to be pain free from my shoulders and back. Can't wait to use it when I go camping! Truly a great investment, in my opinion.
