I loved this backpack when I first got it. I am I highschool student. I got this just before the school year, and school started at the beginning of August. It is now mid September, and the right strap is only holding on by two threads. I carry the average weight in this backpack for a highschool student, so I don't see a reason why mine is ripping while my friends' bookbags (also Northface, just different styles) have held up for two and counting school years. Mine hasn't even made it through a semester. I do not have another bookbag that I can use in the meantime if I send this one back to get repaired or replaced. I was told that this would be a great backpack, and I was expecting to get several school years out of it. I am very disappointed.

This bag is magical: you can see it little but it has a lot of space and looks very stylish. Every single detail is very well-done. It is exactly as it says: it will last forever!

I have a problem in my back and Im an executive. The other day I bought a very expensive business backpack but the first time I added more weight with some books it was terrible for my back. I went at this very moment to a The North Face store and asked for a Vault, because I already know it. I bpught it and transfer everything and went out very comfortable .... a terrific product for the third of the cost of the other one...

I love it. The color is good for me, a man, and it's simple design as well as just 2 shelves that help me not have to remember where I put what. Beside, it was made in Vietnam, it's a quality guaranteed. It's light and the size is just right for me, so when I get out of my car and pull it out with my right hand, it does not blow the horn as my old bag, which is bigger.

I love TNF everything and this bag for the price can not be beat...

I got this backpack in 6th grade and am just now buying a new one (Because I was another color) as a freshman in college. It's been a fantastic travel, school, and overall everything fantastic backpack. It fits perfectly under the seat in the airplane, has a big water bottle holder and a laptop sleeve built-in. It's amazing for its price.

Great backpack

I like the spacious size of the bag. It allows me to put my cooler with all my snacks in it. I just have to be careful and not leave it unattended. The colors are vibrant and beautiful.

The North Face Vault Backpack is the BEST Backpack ever made and will ever be made. The design engineering is fantastic. The material used is robust and durable. It has the best value for a Backpack compared to any other Backpack. I would HIGHLY recommend The North Face Vault Backpack over anything else.

This backpack is very durable and comfortable too! From the photos I thought it was going to be yellow, but when it came in it was an orange color. I wish the front pocket was a little bigger, but overall my favorite backpack I have ever had! I used this backpack for school and as a carry on when I fly, but i definitely would not use it for hiking or backpacking just because of the size.

This is hands down the best backpack under 60$, because it os just relly durable. I wear this backpack to school every day and I wear it after school when I go ride my bicycle. I have tested it while hiking, travelling, doing urban exploration and other stuff. This is the best backpack for an adventurer. I love it!

Great vault!

Awesome quality! Extremely comfortable! One thing I really like is how the laptop pocket is lifted a bit from the bottom of the bag so when you put the bag down, your laptop doesn't hit the ground. The two side pockets are deep so your stuff doesn't bounce out. Would like to see water resistance feature, even though its already somewhat doing that; I've worn in the rain for 20 minutes and nothing inside gets wet.

This backpack is really comfortable. It sits on my back just right, not to mention it's really cute.

Bought this for an 18 year old and he loves it. Says it's very comfortable and "stylish." Well made and securely hold laptop. He really likes the bottom and shoulder padding. Great quality product.

This is a great backpack. Very sleek and compact - but holds a lot. I like the front pockets, which hold smaller items nicely, and the inner sleeve - both great features. The mesh on the straps make for a comfortable fit. Highly recommend!

Its great for my daughter for school

It's very comfortable to carry it even when heavy. I like that it's spacious and perfect for 15" laptop. The material is durable and definitely worth its price.

Very comfortable, but could use a little bit more space inside

This backpack is awesome! I used it for school purposes, holds multiple books/notebooks and my laptop. It has a bunch of pockets and compartments in the inside to keep things organized neatly. It also has two bottle holders which comes in handy if you have long days and need to stay hydrated or a beverage in one and an umbrella in the other! I loved it so much, I'm ordering my boyfriend one for work as soon as I get done writing this review!

This backpack works well as a high school book bag. Our six-foot boy likes the padded back/straps, laptop sleeve, and water bottle pockets. He says the length is just right, and prefers the simple design.
