I'm a law school student and I LOVE IT! This is my third backpack this year and I'm not sure why I waited so long to order it. I can fit 3 (!) hornbooks my laptop and all kinds of other random stuff like my planner and supplements. The best part is that I can barely feel it on my shoulders. The two bottle pockets on the sides are huge and held a 50 oz water bottle! I haven't used it to travel yet but I'm sure it will be awesome for the airport. In love for sure! LAW STUDENTS! This is the backpack you've been searching for!

As a little kid I was taught the importance of a backpack from my older brother. He told me as I graduated High School and went to college that every man needs a good back to get through life. Whether it be for making it to class on time, day trips with your buds, cross country travel, cross hemisphere travel, or just for a bike ride down to the beach. Over the last decade and a half I've been a fan of backpacks straight from the action sports realm and decided to test out North Face since I have many products and believe in what the brand represents. This backpack has everything that I have been seeking in regards to organization but it also comes with a sleek style. I like to call it the perfect bag for the action sports athlete that has grown up now and doesn't want all the colors and logos that most brands have these days. You will definitely not be disappointed with this product. My friends and colleagues have already asked me about it and Im sure it wont be long till we see some different colors around the factory or on our trips searching for surf or snow.

Great for travel and everyday use. I own a Jeep Wrangler and can't leave much in there with the top off so this backpack is always with me.

I use it for school! It holds all of my books and binders with room to spare and the weight is distributed well enough where it feels as if my backpack is light!

The backpack is great. It's very roomy providing enough space for my books and laptop, which was a problem with previous backpacks. It is very comfortable, making it feel lighter on the back than it really is. I recommend this backpack to anyone.

This backpack is great! Not only is it cute, but very comfortable. There's plenty of padding for the laptop and also a spot for a tablet and phone pocket. Anything you might need for a day at school or professionally, there's a spot for it. It's also not too big/bulky. The size is just right for a computer, a couple books, and some notebooks. There's also extra spots to store miscellaneous items such as keys or glasses so you don't have to dig around in one of the bigger pockets to find them. If you like to stay organized and want enough room for all your needs but dont want a huge bulky backpack, this is the right backpack for you.

I'm a daily train commuter, and I always pack my lunch and a set of gym clothes. This backpack gives me the room and organization I need to pack all of my electronics, pair of shoes (or two), a rather hefty lunch, snacks, and the occasional important file. Not only do all of these items fit in the backpack, but it is comfortable to carry on the mile walk to and from the train station and home or work.

NYC teacher uses backpack to commute my school books as well as my students work daily on the subway system. Also used the pack to travel through Canada a few weeks back. Held everything and then some; actually thought left some items home and found them deep in the pockets. I'm broad shouldered and felt the straps were a bit too wide for me, let alone someone smaller. Excellent purchace for the price.

I love this backpack. I feel like I can have 20 pounds of stuff in my backpack and due to the comfort pads on the backpack it feels like I'm only carrying about 5 pounds of stuff.

Alright y'all, I suggest y'all strap in (pun intended) and get ready for the review of your lives. This is the best backpack I've ever met. I'll be honest, I always thought the North Face backpacks were overrated, and a little too "basic" for my tastes. My feelings have since been drastically changed. I needed a better backpack for my back, thanks to my genetic predisposition for a hella messed up back and shoulders, and so I looked into TNF backpacks, just for kicks and giggles. THAT'S when I discovered all the backpacks are endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association. Tickle me intrigued. I did further research, and compared prices, brands, and styles. In the end, I found the The North Face had the best backpacks hands-down. Yes, their prices were a little more than most others, BUT it ends up being SO WORTH IT. This backpack has basically changed my life. I can carry all I need, which is a lot of notebooks, textbooks, my laptop, etc... and STILL have plenty of room. I use this product everyday, it has great back support on it compared to the other bag that I had.

This backpack was a replacement for a Burton backpack I had for several years. I was sad when the zippers stared snagging. At that point I began looking for a replacement and many reviews sent me this way. So far the surge has met or surpassed all of my expectations. The colors are great and the comfort for the size is unbelievable.

I use this backpack every day for school and every couple weekends for hiking/biking. It is very comfortable and has plenty of space for anything I need.
