Love North face products and this bag is cool!

I use this as a backpack for school and it fits everything I need. It's perfect!

I use this backpack every single day commuting to and from work. It's extremely comfortable and lightweight, despite the fact that it can hold a ton of things in it. It's seems more durable than an ordinary pack and has a lot of components for various items, such as an umbrella, water bottle, tablet, and gym bag with room to spare. It is the ideal backpack for everyday use.

I bought this backpack almost 4-5months ago and I love it. It is very comfortable and great for school it's worth every penny especially because there's warranty on it for lifetime. The backpack has many pockets and also doesn't feel heavy at all while it's on your back. Great product.

What a fantastic backpack. I can fit all my school books and day items in the front two compartments and the dedicated laptop sleeve in the back keeps my expensive computer equipment safe from drops or bumps. exactly what's needed for a busy student that can't be worrying about keeping my computer safe while on campus. Also, the bright green is a great color.

I travel the world for my job and only like to carry on. I bought this backpack as a birthday gift for myself after having my previous Northface backpack for 10 years. It is the perfect carry on that I use for work, travel, and adventures. These backpacks literally will last a lifetime. Only reason I bought this one was really to have a change in style and color since I had my last one for literally a decade. The padding on the back is really great and makes the backpack super comfortable no matter how much gear you're lugging. Lot's of pockets and storage areas. I love it!

I use this bag for school and when traveling. In both ways it has exceeded my expectations. It is incredibly lightweight comfortable and roomy. I am so beyond glad I purchased it!

I purchased the Surge backpack for my laptop while traveling for work. I needed something that was professional and practical. This bag ticked all the boxes. What I really like is the amount of pockets that are available, I have a spot for everything and it's all protected.

Recent college student again. Hard to find a pack that hold my college gear-books, pens, calculator, ipad/laptop, wallet, papers and doesn't put a strain on the back. It has sufficient space but I have three books for back to back classes and an iPad with a case with keyboard...they fit but super tight fit. However! Comfy to carry the fourty plus pounds on my back! Overall a great pack!

The backpack is extremely comfortable even with heavy books, laptops, cameras, etc. Plenty of room too!

The backpack is a little bit heavy but it feels nothing when I wear it on my shoulders. I am carrying more weight in this backpack than the old one but I feel much lighter and less stress on my shoulders and my back. The laptop space is the best. The design is amazing, there are just lots of rooms for this compact-looking backpack.

I usually purchase Vera Bradley Backpacks, however, they don't offer much support or protection for my items. I decided to purchase from the North Face and I was not disappointed. I have no complaints, it was well worth every penny. Thank you North Face!

This pack replaces one that was to small. The interior pockets are lined to protect my items. Plenty of room for my office gear and personnel items (sneakers, shorts, etc). Really comfortable and looks great.

I love this bookbag, i just got a second one because my dog ate the straps off of my old one. Definitely would recommend this to anyone that wants an everyday useful school/travel bookbag.

It fits a lot more in there than you would expect and it is very comfortable and durable!

I use this Surge Backpack, for school purposes. The North Face is an amazing brand, so why not buy this. My old backpack was heavy and uncomfortable. But with this new one, I have the same exact stuff, and it's much more comfrontable and breathable. The only flaw would be there's not enough main carpartments.

This was a gift for my college bound daughter. Truly, the most durable backpack she has had and spacious and safe enough for her electronics as well as not being overly bulky. She is a small girl, but the backpack isn't overwhelming in appearance.

We have a granddaughter graduating from high school. We've searched and searched for the perfect gift. We're delighted we found these wonderful backpacks. Perfect style, function and fabrication. We're certain it will the perfect addition as she heads off to college in the fall and useful for all her adventures in years to come.

I like how this backpack improved upon the last Surge model I owned. This one has better ventilation on the back and more padding making it more comfortable. There is an additional pocket in the front which is good for holding headphones/keys and the laptop sleeve is nice as well.

Great for school. Pack fits well and can store all books, computer, etc. without feeling heavy.

I purchased a North Face Recon 0ver 15 years ago, and this Surge is the replacement for it. Great comfort, room enough for travel with camera equipment and clothing, heavy-duty enough for backwoods hiking and camping, versatile and stylish enough to commute with everyday. I purchased the black / green color and love getting compliments on the style! North Face equipment stands the test of time and use. My first internal frame pack was a North Face Summit Series and it was worn to the nub backwoods hiking and camping; once you own quality there is no reason to settle for less. I own numerous North Face products (Convertible pants, tent, anorak, etc.) and they all carry the same thread; quality. I will always look for The North Face first for my outdoor needs, and enjoy the fact that I can buy them locally and support local merchants.

After 2 good weeks of use, I must say, this is a very nice bookbag. very nice style, roomy, and has a lot of pockets. Ive been using this product for school purposes mostly and it is amazing.
