Bought for husband instead of his usual Brooks. We are not buying from China if avoidable. So far, he likes them and wears them with pride. He used to get 11.5 2E Brooks Addiction. He says toe box is roomier in the 11.5 W NB Postal 706v2

They are very comfortable. A few other people have said there is a squeak and I have heard it a few times too, but it doesn't really bother me. I don't know why it squeaks sometimes but not others. But they are nice shoes. I bought the extra wide and there is plenty of room in the toe. I would buy them again.

This is my major walking shoe, and it is great. Fits well, good support, comfortable.

I purchased this shoe to start walking and loose weight. All other shoes fit funny and hurt my feet. This shoe fits perfect, No pain. I can walk now .Being made in the US is an extreme bonus.When I were this pair out I'll definitely purchase more.

Although I've never been a postal carrier, I have held several jobs over the years that required a lot of standing and walking. As a 59 year old bank teller, and someone who has suffered with foot and knee pain for over 30 years, I have seldom been satisfied with my footwear. In recent years I began purchasing New Balance products - at first, from retail outlets, and more recently, ordering online direct from their facility. I've been very pleased with their quality and value (particularly these AMERICAN MADE postal shoes!), great customer service when faced with a return, and their patience and expertise in talking me through the best choice based on my needs. I will continue to purchase exclusively from them for these very reasons! And by the way, their footwear is not just targeted to the over 50 crowd! They seem to have something for everyone! great product. Very comfortable for the work environment

I work on my feet for 8 hours a night, up and down all night so my shoes get a solid workout. I saw that these shoes were american made which was the selling point for me as the chinese made sneakers have failed me for four consecutive times after being so great for so long. The first night I put them on, it felt like I had pillows stuffed in my shoes as they couldn't have been more comfortable. This is a very early review as I've only had them for a brief time so we'll now see about durability. They certainly are showing great promise and appear visually to be stronger in the previous sneaker's weak spots.

He likes to take very long walks. He just wore out his first pair of Postals after an awful lot of walking. He can tell the difference again with how good the new ones feel. We've never found any other product like them and I'm sure we'll be back for another pair when these wear out. Thank you for an excellent product.

Our band had a performance upcoming and I was looking for a pair of black walking shoes to wear at the show. These fit the bill. Very comfortable and good looking. And well-made as have been all of the other New Balance products I've purchased.

If you can't get a Postal shoe to fit you should will your feet to science. American made and long lasting, it doesn't get any better. The only problem is the confusion between the new "wide" designation on the web site and the old 2E but customer service was first class in sorting it out.

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes (sneakers, perhaps) that I've purchased aver the past 65 years!

I wanted a USA made walking shoe to replace my worn out shoes. These were very similar, fit well and are comfortable with no break in required. very pleased with the shoe and the online purchase.

I normally wear 928 walking shoes, but these 706 Postal shoes are a very good alternative for winter in the upper Midwest because they have deeper treads to give better traction on snow and ice. They are very comfortable and are a good alternative to standard NB walking shoes. The only downsize is that they are only available in black. They also are generic, with no visible New Balance emblems, which I'm assuming was to match some government regulations. That doesn't matter to me at all, but I would have liked the opportunity to get a brown pair as well.

I'm on my feet a great deal, and I have been buying the same shoes for many years because they are perfect for me! They're durable and comfortable!
