The size and style are the same as my old ones. But they irritate in certain parts of the left foot. It's a race to see who gives in first, the shoe or my foot.

The shoe would be good if all you walked on was flat smooth floors. any imperfection in the surface goes right through to your foot.

Squeaked, even when walking in them on carpet. As far as the size goes, they were very loose in the heel. Would have liked them to work out, but they must be returned for a refund.

the shoe fits as it should, except the sides dont come up high enough or the tongue isnt wide enough, I have to leave the tongue with a space between the side laces to make it comfortable.

This shoe is not available in narrow width. I wear 9.5 B. The New Balance sizer software recommended 10 regular which is too wide and too long. Even with 3 pairs of socks on my feet slide forward going downhill and my heel slides up and down. The shoes are squishy and the left shoe makes noise when walking. I wear shoes for walking and for exercise classes. I would not buy this shoe again but would like to try 928v3 which comes in narrow width and may run true to size and have a firm sole. I like the strap closure.

For the first time ever, a pair of NB shoes in my size caused a blister. I wore them only once and do not know what I am going to do.

I like New Balance because they are one of the few that do extra wide shoes and are usually comfortable. I usually do somewhere between 10-15,000 steps a day at work and for walking shoes these just don't feel the best by the end of the day. Maybe due to arch support that I can spend more money on to feel better. Otherwise, the construction of this shoe is great. It looks like it can take what I throw it's way.

The shoe wasn't big enough to accommodate my medical insert. Had to return it.

I wish New Balance provided more cushioning in the insole. I have 2 bunions and a deep corn on the ball of each foot. The insole is thin and stiff, I removed it and tried a men's work boot gel insole, that was a little better. I removed that, now I am using my orthotic. I had to buy men sizing because female 8.5 4E was sold out from 5 different companies. The Zappos phone representative was nice enough to check New Balance's website to find the conversion to men's sizing.

Shoe fits and is comfortable. However, the look of the toe box is bulky and not what I expected.

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for 47 years and find that there is no better brand for me. The fit, cushioning, ankle-foot support, and look, have been great in the various models that I have purchsed. I expected the same qualities in the NB Walking shoe that I recently purchased, but I was disappointed that the upper surface of the shoe looked vinyl instead of leather, and with the plain, rounded toe area, this pair of walking shoes looks very cheap.

I wish New Balance had a softer insole, there sneakers are so stiff and too firm even with my orthotic. I have been wearing NB for over 15 years. I am getting older, between a bunion and a deep corn on the ball of each foot I just want something softer with more cushion.

This is listed as a B width which I were but it is still a bit big for me. It is ok and I wear it. NB is the only tennis shoe that I can find in a B width.

I am used to purchasing the model 624 shoe in "B" narrow width. It appears the 624 style no longer can be purchased in narrow width very disappointing. Since I have Narrow feet New Balance has been my go to store for walking and training shoes. I had to purchase the 813 style found the toe box to be very wide and I don't care for the soles. Hopefully New balance will bring back the 624 in " B " width. Ralph

I have worn New Balance shoes for many years. I appreciate the brand, especially the shoes made in the United States. I wear a US Men's size 16 X wide shoe. The problem with this model is the Velcro straps. Add one or make them wider. The straps on mine seem like they were made for a small woman's shoe. Thanks for your time.

Bought the 813 as it appeared to be more "Dress Looking" . It's definately not as good as the 577 if you have bad feet. Not worth the extra $15.00 either.
