Bought these for my 12 year old son. Great price. They seem to run true to size, and he says they're super comfortable.

I have been a Nike Fan pretty much my entire adult life. This year I started mixing in serious walking with my biking (avid cyclist). I burned through my pair of Nike's and started researching a really good all around athletic shoe that was comfortable and dependable and could fit my custom made orthotics. I decided to try Asics Gel-Venture 5's and I am very glad I did. I ordered size 13 4e which my orthotics fit in nicely and after several miles walked in them I must say they have met all of my needs. I am quite impressed. These actually make me look forward to my walks. They fit great, feel great, are very well made and I just maybe switching to Asics for all of my athletic shoe needs (sorry Nike).

My 2nd pair (this series #5 shoe appears to replace the series #4 shoe I had before). Best walking shoe I have found - I have somewhat severe supination - plus they come in extra wide sizes. No more plantar fasciitis or aching shins or ankles. Wonderful. But - they wear out quickly. I walk 35 minutes daily and wore out my last pair in 9 months. But then again, they are cheap. (Before this I was using NB and Ortho shoes costing $100+). So can't complain.

Bought these for my boyfriend who wears a size 11. After a few missed orders because I forgot what size he wears he says they are very comfortable. Good value.

These shoes ran small for my husband. He normally wears a 10.5 M, so had to order an 11 M which fit. Looks very nice on his foot.

Great shoe, this is the 2nd pair for my teenage son. He loves them and the color black. Will be back for more, thanks Zappos!

This was my first pair of new shoes in a while. They are very stiff when you first get them. After about 3-5 days of regular wear, they begin to break in. So far so good for me. Extremely comfortable and good looking.

This shoe is comfortable and fits true to it size. It has a small strap detail that looks like camouflage which I don't particularly like. However, it is subtle so I'm willing to accept it.

Great shoes for walking! These Asics took no time to wear in and get comfortable, straight out of the box they were great, unlike some athletic shoes I've purchased like Nike. Highly recommended for long distance walking, jogging.

I have worn Asics for the last 10 years and they are the best sneaker. They wear very well, and are great quality. I have tried the other name brands and nothing seems to last as long.

I found this sneaker to be exactly what I was expecting. A very comfortable shoe that I mostly use for hiking.

I'm very active and have worn Asics for years because of the quality and fit. These shoes definitely are at the top of my favorites from Asic...great shoe!

Great shoe for trail running or hiking. I run 4-6 mile distances off road regularly. Love this shoe. Sole is moderately soft which I like as it absorbs the rocks/bumps. True fit for sizing.

Shoes are great, I wear them to work everyday. I'm going to buy another pair to have on reserve. As always, zappos shipping and returning is fast and easy.

Our job puts us walking 20-40 miles a shift and upwards of 84 floors. These shoes were amazingly comfortable, light weight and took all the abuse, from all surfaces and weather, and lasted a lot longer than any other shoe

Pretty good everyday shoe for working on your feet.

Ok. Not as good as the last pair of Asics I had. Much harder on the bottom. Difference in what you pay I guess. I'd still try them again.

I bought these for my son. His work requires him to be on his feet all day, and he has high arches and wide feet. These hold up pretty well, about six months with good support.

Comfortable shoe. I have had these before and the soles finally wore out after 3 or so years. I don't run in these shoes and not sure they would be great for that. I wear these as casual "sneakers" not for any real athletic purpose like heavy hiking or running.

I ran about 10 miles in these during the first week that I had them. They were ready to go with no break in required. My feet did get pretty warm in these though. They may be a little heavier and less ventilated than other Asics I've owned.
