WHY drive to 5 or so stores, HOPING you will find a color &/or style of Asics that you really like? Shop On-line, and shop from Zappos.com. I never knew that there are so many different styles and color schemes of Asics shoes. Zappos seems to offer EVERY one of them. Everything about my shopping experience with Zappos was First-Rate. Asics are the only brand of tennis/sports style shoes that I have bought for the last 20? years. And now I'll be ordering mine on-line, and from Zappos.com. If you know the size that you need, your Asics-shopping is done. Zappos.com. That's all you need to know. I sound like I work there. I assure you I don't. Great shoe. Great company. End of my review. P.S. If you wear orthotics in your shoes, Asics are the sports shoes to buy, because they are as comfortable with your orthotics as any shoe, anywhere.

One of the best purchases I've ever made in a shoe. Because I have Peripheral Neuropathy I have to order shoes a size larger and 4E wide. This shoe is perfect right out of the box and 6 months later isn't showing any wear.

Well pleased, True to size, true to width, very comfortable. Arrived within 3 days of order. Next order will be work boots, then hiking boots.

These have decent arch support but not perfect, with a good shoe insert though these are extremely good. I work at Target Distribution on concrete / power equipment 12hr a day. Out of every shoe I've worn before these are one of the most comfortable. My Magnum boots are slightly better for arch support and equal to these comfort wise with these winning out by a small margin. So if you are looking for a comfortable shoe where you're on your feet for long periods these are amazing. You likely will want a gel insert but after that they are great. I can honestly say my feet don't hurt when I get home from work and with most shoes I don't have that. I can't speak about how durable they are yet though since I haven't had them that long yet.

2nd shoe I've bought in this style. Good soft impact shoe for old bones and joints. Great shoe for pounding the pavement.

Very comfortable. I have square feet and can never find a shoe that fits my width. This is first shoe that truly fits. I love this pair of shoes. I ordered the 4E width and it fits great. I ordered a pair of Nike 4E width and they were very tight. These are great.

Worn it 6 times, my initial impression is a little heavy but rugged, great and comfortable on the feet primarily used for walking, tight snug fit on my feet but overall the fit is what I wanted and the comfiness. I would buy it again maybe another model of the same brand. But like I've said it's a running shoe and I've only worn it to walk.

I purchased a pair for myself and loved everything about these shoes. Looks, comfort, fit etc. My niece saw them and now, owns an identical pair. Different size, of course. She too loves them.

I am very happy with the quality and fit, most comfortable running shoe I have owned. And Zappos lightning fast shipping is amazing.

This will be my son's third pair of these shoes. After he wore out the second pair (high school cross country runner, goes through a pair every four months), we went to an expensive running shoe store and bought a pair of expensive Brooks shoes because the sales representative said that he needed a better pair of shoes. Well, the expensive shoes were terrible, hurting various parts of his feet and legs, and he went right back to his old reliable Asics. If I did not think that he would outgrow them, I would buy three more pairs. As it is, I hope that his feet stop growing before these are discontinued.

I am so happy with this shoe! I've bought it 3 or 4 times in a row now, after each pair wears out. It's comfortable, stable, forms to my foot well, and doesn't break down in an isolated location like inside at the back of the heel, etc. The tread wears out completely before anything else is inoperable. Also happy with the design and color schemes. It's exhilarating to put on a new pair and feel how great they are while going for a run.

I looked everywhere for very wide and black shoes for my 95 year old uncle. Zappos.com was the only place I could them. I ordered them and a day and a half later, they were here. Very quick, very easy. And Uncle Lou was very happy.

I wear these only as walking around shoes. They are very comfortable, neutral, fairly cushioned, and good grip. Personally, I do not use these as running shoes as they are not as durable, cushioned, and stable as the Asics Kahana 7, which is my go to running shoe hands down. Overall, a very nice trail shoe for casual use. Ventilation seems balanced for both warm and cool weather. It is also better quality than the prior Venture version. I never had a problem with Asics.

For the price, I think these are a great buy. I haven't owned a pair of Asics shoes for many years and I am happy to have some again.

I have a wide foot and these seem to be a solution. Normally wear size 13 4E, but had to go to size 14 4E. I like the little stiffer trail type soles, less issues on cobble stones or uneven pavement.

Great support. Lots of cushion and support through the ankle and foot arch. If you like a stiff cross training shoe, this is a safe bet. It's heavier but built to last.

This item is still to narrow for my feet, which was a surprise because I always get the extra wide and they always fit until now.

Very functional and moderately priced running shoe. My previous pair have lasted nearly 2 years (running about 13-14 miles/wk). I plan on sticking with Asics/Gel in the future.

Can't comment on the durability of the Asics yet. Give me at least 6 months. Very comfortable though and reasonably priced. Very pleased with Zappos web site and shipping and return policies.

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend. He was running in Nikes before and I kept telling him he needs some real running shoes like Asics. Finally I decided to surprise him and I bought him these Asics. After a run last night in them for the first time, he said they are the most comfortable running shoes that he has ever had!

Very comfortable and fit perfectly. Longevity can only be judged after 5-6 months of usage. The laces are a bit short, especially if you like to do a heel lock. I cannot comment that much about arch support, since I always wear custom orthotics. Also, the shoe is a looker.

I have only had a couple of trails runs but I really like these. My trails are dirt, grass, roots and rocks and my feet feel really stable. Not sure how waterproof or breathable they might be as it was pretty dry. Shoe was definitely more gray (than the white expected).

Great shoes, fit great. Shoes were ordered in the afternoon, delivered free to my house in less than 24 hours!

If you are not a Zappos fan, you should be. I ordered these Asics over the Labor Day weekend. They still arrived at my door in two business days. What service. If you know your size, and order accordingly they will fit. All the shoes that I have order from Zappos have been exactly as shown online and more importantly, they fit. Great service and great site. Also if you must, great and easy exchange service, too!
