I really want to love these. Normally a 10 in most shoes, size 9 for steel toes and composite boots. The 9 in these was far too big so I sized down to an 8.5. The 8.5 length is perfect but the toe box crushes the top of my foot. Have tried breaking in for the past two weeks, but after about 2 hours they become unbearable. Otherwise, I am really impressed with the stitching and materials in these

This is the second pair of these boots I have owned. First pair lasted almost 2 years. This pair I am having trouble breaking them in. A little disappointed, but always a good boot.

Unlike many work boots these were not heavy clod-hoppers. They were surprisingly light with a softer type of rubber sole that doesnt clunk around on every surface that you walk on. The sole which has a 1inch heel also makes it more comfortable for the knees when doing a lot of walking on concrete and asphalt. The wide toe box gives plenty of room for the feet but also makes the boot a little larger than normal. I found I had to go 1/2 down from what I normally buy in boots and I have normal to slim D width feet. The leather on the shoe part seems thick and stand up well to constant knocks and friction at work. The boot is fairly breathable, I did not buy the water proof, and my feet do are not getting overheated in the hot and humid summers. Agin the weight of the boot is nice and light. I barely know I have boots on my feet through the day. A handsome, comfortable, but tough boot for work. I am happy with my purchase.

These boots were a gift and He loves them he says theyre super comfortable and better than his last pair of boots!

I bought these for my grandson. The same pair I bought him 1 year ago. However, he said that he had a black toe, because they aren't steel toe. I didn't see an option for steel toe in this boot. Have they changed it?

Needed new work boots and thought Id give these a try. Very satisfied with my decision. They are comfortable, dont make my feet hurt. Broke them in in a couple days.

Good sturdy boot. Liked the design. Bit bulkier than i anticipated. Needed a size smaller as it seems to run large. Still plan to get another smaller pair. Enjoying my hybrid ranchers for now.

I bought these boots for my son (freshman in college) to wear with jeans (he has never really liked jeans)! He loves them! They are comfortable and warm. And they look great with his jeans! Great value and he will get lots of wear from them. Theyll last him a while and he already says when those wear out he wants another pair! He hates to have his picture taken though! One of the best Christmas gifts I bought this year!

Comfortable, but run big for the size. Also narrow on top of the foot.

When purchasing a new pair of boots for my husband last Fall (2022), I looked through the boots on sale to see if I could find some new boots to try. The ladies boots on sale were not anything Id wear, so I looked through the mens boots. I found a winner! These are some of the most comfortable work boots Ive ever worn! I wear these all weekend long when working on our ranch (10-12 hour work days) no blisters, no scrunched toes, no leg fatigue. They are comfortable & supportive!

These are work boot and comfortable to wear for hours. Look good enough to wear out on the town. I dont need to be a rhinestone cowboy.

I bought the work boots as a Christmas gift for my son. I have given him the same type of Ariat boots in previous Christmas. He is a chef and wears the boots in the kitchen he operates from. The boots stand up very well being exposed to many cooking greases, oils heat, etc. He loves them!

The tops are a little big but I really do like them overall they are a strong quality boot and I plan on wearing them for a long time

Came home today to a surprise by the front door. And boy that made me happy. The fit is right on and comfort is out of this world. If you want a boot that is lightweight flexible and extremely comfortable this is it. Thank you Ariat for making the BEST BOOTS EVER I will always be A Ariat customer

Love these! Got so tired of regular work boots coming untied constantly, so I decided to try Ariat square toe work boots mostly due to the company's good name. I love these boots! they take a couple of days to break-in and then they feel like wearing a pair of comfortable socks to work. My first pair lasted a year and a half of daily use on a commercial construction site... not bad at all, especially for the price! a pair of $300 Danner's might last longer but they weigh so much because of the thickness of the leather, and the soles still will require a re-sole about this same year and a half timeframe. This is my forever work boot.

These were my second pair of Ariat boots. My first pair were from the Workhog line, but the particular model (square soft toe) was discontinued. After more than 2 yrs of continuous wearing, I really wanted to get another pair. Since that wasn't going to happen, I tried these. The difference in the 4LR and ATS system wasn't an issue. Both are comfortable. There are only two things that I feel keep these from a 5 star review. One is that the boots have an almost wax like finish which scuffs easily. The second item is that, in my opinion, the transition from the shaft to the top of the foot isn't roomy enough. Perhaps they'll break-in after a few more weeks of use, but right now, they are too tight at this point. Socks make a difference in how boots feel, but I am wearing the same lightweight wool sock from SmartWool in both these and the Workhogs. All in all, it is still a nice affordable workplace boot.
