These are my first pair of Kork-Ease. Got them in brown. Initially, ordered them in what is usually (but not always these days w size fluctuations) a size 10. They we way too long (I am 9'10" tall with a medium width foot). Had Zappos send the size 9 and they fit perfectly! And, in my case, the arch hits just where it should! Love that the upper morphs into the lower - more modern look. The leather is sturdy but soft and the double stitching is v straight. Nice craftsmanship. Sandals are super light and the toe box is roomy. Why 4 verses 5 stars? The sole at the heel is cut at an angle - looks nice from a design prospective but makes walking feel a little awkward and doesn't fully support the area that gets the most force when walking. Not a deal breaker and perhaps I will get used to. They probably won't replace my Camper Misia which I have used to walk all over Europe. Highly recommend trying the Kork-Ease-Greer! Wish they came in navy-

These are awesome looking shoes and as with other reviews, I was tempted to keep them just to look at. I bought both the black leather and the gold -- both are beautiful. The black has a bit more give at the top. I'm a 6.5 typically and the 6 fit perfectly...although I had to wiggle my foot in; I also tried the 7 and it was way too big. The sole is very rigid -- a bit too rigid for me and it wasn't a very natural walking shoe. Although I love love the shoe, I sent them back because they just weren't comfortable enough for walking.

Size 8 is my normal size but an 8 in this shoe was at least a size too big. I've reordered in size 7. This shoe is very attractive and hopefully worth the money.

These are beautiful! I first ordered these in black and they were so comfortable, but then I decided to try the gold. I love them, but one of them felt a little tight getting my toes in them and the other was perfect. I ordered another pair in the same size, just to see. For the price, everything has to be perfect, and these are so close. I really hope they fit because they are so cute!

This shoe is beautiful, very sculptural and modern. It was the look I wanted but unfortunately it did not fit. I seem to be having problems with European sizing. I'm a true 6.5 so I ordered the size recommended and it was too wide. My feet are slightly wide so I thought a 7/37 would fit but it didn't. I'm becoming frustrated with the companies that are not making half sizes. The shoes are either slightly too large or slightly too small. I guess I'll keep searching. And for that I have to thank Zappos for providing such great and quick service. They make it possible to keep on trying until I find a shoe that looks great like this one and also fits.

Looks more silver than gold in person. The platform being same color as top of shoe is just too much metallic. But I’m a size 11, so maybe in a smaller size it wouldn’t be too much metallic.

This show is beautiful. Simple and classy. I have high arches and had no problems with support. My only issue is my pinky toes. These shoes do rub against them when I walk a lot at work.

The 9 was very large and I had to return it.

Loved the look of these, but not so comfortable for me. Width was good for wide feet with bunions. While there is a tiny arch bump inside, the placement didn't work on my feet so there was no arch support. As expected, it's a rigid feeling show. So, sadly they go back! Thank you Zappos for great service.

Gorgeous look! Love the wrap-around single piece of leather effect. Unsure how the edge of leather would rub on big toe. Very comfortable. Probably better for wider feet so that eventual stretching of leather would still fit. No arch support.

I really wanted to love this shoe but the band over the instep was so tight. I have a higher arch and am used to going up a half size (to a 9), but couldn't even get my foot into the slide. The 10 would have been too long for my foot.

I really thought these were attractive and looked like something that my feet could handle. I have terrible problems with my feet and need stiff soles to feel truly comfortable (i.e. Danskos). Because there were only full sizes, I ordered up to an 8, but unfortunately, they were way too long. Looked awful. I won't bother ordering the 7's. They didn't seem very wide, so they probably won't fit my foot in 7's.

the size was right, but it was loose on my foot when walking. so they went back. otherwise thought it was a beautiful shoe. maybe it would work and be snug without slippage with a wider foot

I've grown weary of shoemakers sizing shoes for people who have fat feet! If they continue to create widths for fat feet then I'm hoping they also provide a narrow width.

Wasn't a snug fit. Too much room to walk comfortably. I noticed this is another comment but thought I'd try it anyway. They will have to go back unfortunately.

I saw the black Greer and noticed the footbed was black in the photo so I ordered them. When they arrived the footbed was actually tan not black. However when I put them on, there was not a lot of cushion and the leather at the toes was a little stiff and I can't have my feet torn up when the leather isn't buttery soft. Overall, I was hoping for a comfort shoe and there wasn't a lot of cushion and they seemed clunky sounding when walking on hard surfaces. Overall a cute style but just not for me. Disappointed but at the cost I just can't keep them when not perfect for me.

The sticking on top of the shoe is rough and rubs against the top of your foot-it would be a very comfortable shoe otherwise. It is a bad design. I love the look of the shoe-I can just tell that sticking is going to wear a hole in my skin!

I have to return these simply and beautifully designed shoes, because I have wide foot circumference and I can't properly fit them. This is a total shame because there is no reason for this shoe to be so tight. Just 5mm wider is all I need. Kork-Ease, PLEASE share some profits and start making a Wide width too! I never know if I'll fit in your shoes. Sometimes I do, and when I do, I wear the shoes for years with tons of compliments; and other times it's impossible.

I have the cousin of this shoe from last year (criss cross straps) and it fits like a dream - could not wait to get the Greer. Unfortunately the shoe is huge- I have very wide feet and this was way too roomy - would not stay on my feet when walking around my living room. Sadly had to go back - too bad - I love Kork Ease and have been a wearer for many years.

Literally flew off my foot after two steps. Couldn't walk. Size was fine, and didn't feel wide. Just didn't feel like I could grip onto anything while I took my first steps. So back in the box they went. Sad cause I really liked the look and quality of them. Just couldn't walk - minor detail - haha

these sandals are perfect in terms of comfort and are pretty too..I am giving one star because I didn’t like the color...I want soft gold but can’t gind it.. hate that korkease discontinued the soft gold or beige neutral colors which are the best for summer. Hope they read
